I have been a subcriber to Sirius as soon as I heard Howard was going there and you have no idea what you are talking about mate as Sirius had 600K subscribers and was getting killed by XM when Howard signed his first contract there.

He brought so many subscribers to Sirius that it basically forced the merger with XM as they were losing people to Sirius and also new subscribers to Sirius. If Howard had not signed with Sirius it most likely would have folded and even XM may not have survived. Basically he saved satellite radio.

Before CD was released Axl talked about a trilogy, 50 Songs, ETC. He had this timeline where each record would get released. And then after the release of CD, all of those discussions went away.

I think creating CD took such a physical and emotional toll on Axl, he was at least hoping to build some confidence from reviews. He tinkered in his little studio for at least 11 or 12 years on this, invested 14 million dollars, this truly seemed like Axl Roses' Opus.

But when the shit hit the fan, I think the Artist inside Axl Rose said. "What's the Fucking Point." And I truly believe that's the crossroads we are at in this latest installment of GNR Inc.

Mods are quite powerless. They close 1 of every 5 cupcake threads rather than issuing valid suspensions. At least when msl was posting it was somewhat entertaining.
