has the show even started?

I do not know anything about this guy. But from what i've seen. He looks kinda Gay.
The clothes he wears are slightly Fem. Am I wrong? It's Just an observation.
So what was your opinion of Axl all this time?
:rofl-lol:
Why is that funny? it doesn't make sense. Axl doesn't (presently) wear Feminine looking clothes.
I seen Chris on stage and I literally thought, Why is there a woman on Stage? Then by deduction
I realized it must be the 2nd keyboardist, Chris.

Do you think they'll put out a Blu Ray at the end of this tour? Like maybe a best of from the whole tour and a 5.1 mix of CD. I think it would be good promo for the next album and tour, and it would just be plain awesome for all of us.
Pretend it's 1999 again and ask the same question about releasing CD. There's your answer.
Axl made it clear in the TMS interview when he said "Release it" What does that mean?
He has no intentions on releasing anything unless he's forced to or tricked into it.
-
In the original demo around the 3:20 mark Axl sings a few background OOOOhhh Ooohh's.
It is so lost in the official release on CD. It's the only redeeming virtue in that song. But I love that part.

Does the venue have issues bringing beach balls and dolphins in?
What you should do is call the rock radio station in Seattle the week before the show and tell people who are going the show, to bring an inflatable. Day of the show, give the DJs one.
NO DO NOT DO THIS. If they know what you're going to do, it will fail before you even begin.

Here's the one I bought Saturday, unfortunately it was the only one I bought, didn't have my size in most shirts, but I love this shirt. Got a poster too that's really nice. I did get a lot of compliments about the shirt though.
P.S Excuse my shitty camera work so it may be a tad blurry.

Awesome shirt. I'd love to get one of these. Anyone know where I could
get one, other than going to the concert (which I've already been).

I thought Hinder was ok. At least I know a few of their soings. So not bad.
-
3 words...'Ain't it Fun'.
I still own those albums on cassette.
-
Yeah it's annoying how they try to force these guys to say HI! When die-hard fans will never meet their favorite musicians.
-
Sound is shitty if you're up front. Speakers are "behind" you. Arena too small for this stage. Prolly sounds good in the back...
That's what happened at the show I went to. The sound was terrible up front. But worth being 2 feet from Axl.
-
Did you guys remember to bring a inflatable dolphin?!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Haha, that's awesome! How did the whole inflatable dolphin-Estranged thing come about?
Have you never seen the video?
Maybe he ment the idea for bringing the dolphin to the show. It was suggested by a member here and
no one tried before just now. It really is a great idea. I figured someone would bring one and let it float
through the crowd and get a reaction from Axl. But it looks like security doesn't like Shenanigans.
-
You rule man. At least we saw it EH? Awesome try!
-
I may be mistaken...I don't have the CD single handy, and I don't have the tracks on my iPod. I could swear it was the pseudo live version though...
I only know because I own the single.
-
I like 'Shacklers'. But I have to say it sounds terrible live. Just awful. I seen the band live and watched Youtube videos.
Every version is terrible, Axl can't get the low voice going. The guitars don't sound the same. The song only sounds good on CD.
Everything else sounds good though.
-
Actually, I'm kinda shocked by this thread. The band is out there giving us what we want. A fantastic tour, A 3 hour show and
playing almost every song we want to hear. Really there's nothing to complain about here. Take this to the 'former gunners' section.
-
Axl thinks the whole world is conspiring against him.
This pretty much sums up Axl's life.
-
The whole TMS was boring. DJ was in the middle and they only wanted to talk to AXl.
I like DJ and hell I could care less of his opinion (for that moment). It was all about Axl.
Plus some of it was probably edited out.
-
Everything is other people's fault, not Axl's. I got it, Thanks!
-
A few cool pics I took at the show.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the song from the remastered Lies album? It was reportedly included as a bonus.
Please don't tell me to rip it off youtube either. I want the best possible quality.
It's available on the LALD CD single. Never released on any version of Lies.
On topic, I think it should've replaced Anything Goes on AFD. Never cared for the version of Anything Goes on the album, the Hollywood Rose version just kicked too much ass.
This version is not on LALD single. A different studio version is, where Axl says "Wake up It's time to play".
This 'Pseudo Live' version was only found on the 'Live from the Jungle' EP.

The show was pretty good. I was dead center. Axl did a great job. But I gotta' say the other band members impressed me most.
They were so crowd friendly. DJ ran out into the crowd. Ron put his guitar out in front for fans to strum or bang on (however you see it)
They threw out alot of guitar picks and drum sticks. The wait time between opening act and GN'R felt like 15 min. I couldn't believe it.
Most of the crowd left before it was over and Axl said they probably had Lady GA GA cd's to go listen too. lol. You can pretty much see
me in this pic. I'm below Axl in front row to the left of in a yellow shirt. First time I ever seen Axl and I been a fan for 20 years. Loved it!

I say Front Row GA or go sit in back with the sissy's.
