Alice, if you're reading, grow a pair.
Ask him hard hitting questions like "How many songs written by Paul Tobias will you be covering on the next GNR release?"

It's safe to say that I will never listen to that cover again in my lifetime.

There Was A Time (Bucket)
Catcher In The Rye (Brian May)
This I Love
Better
November Rain (Finck Rio 2001)
Patience (Finck Rio 2001)
Estranged
Nightrain (Bucket)
Rocket Queen
Controversial, So Fine.
Not in that order
Bucket's TWAT solo and Brian's Catcher would be my top 2 at this time I think.

in the most recent Guns show I thought he still delivered. His drive is still there. People change with time so maybe young Axl could not even consider forgiving Slash. Still, why would Slash bring his most Gn'R sounding guitar to Axl's house? is it to restore his drive?
I think half a billion $ is a lot of money so he didn't say no cause the demand was crazy and he's still very precious about his music but when the right incentive presents itself I believe he's still capable of rising to the occasion like he did with Angus in 2016.
so I think they'll work on a new album but Axl will largely be the one that dictates the approach. The 3 of them are tight now so it's probably gonna help a lot. They have a shared goal and whatever the sound and specific style Axl chooses is gonna be more accepted cause Slash and Duff can balance it out with the classic Gn'R sound. Pretty big incentive to make it happen and end it on a high note. It's not over yet.
This post is beautiful.

I watched a podcast the other day hosted by an Irish fella. He was interviewing Don Jamieson from That Metal Show and Don says nobody wants to hear Axl play a bunch of new songs - they are there for the hits etc. While there is an element of truth to this - for casual concert goers - it does disappoint me that this seems to be the widespread opinion throughout most that are involved in the biz. I seen The Darkness in December, the first hour was their new album from front to back then the second hour was dedicated to hits. Seemed to go down well with all in attendance. People who enjoy music will always be open to hearing new releases from their favourite artists IMO.

That long intro shouldn’t be cut from an official release. Strap me back in, knock it out the fucking park.
I dream of the day that I hear”OHHHHHHH why should I....” in a live setting

All top level football in both England and Scotland postponed until further notice. Most likely that the Euro's may be pushed back so that the leagues can finish up in summer should everything be grand by then.

The saddest thing? The Killers has released more new music since 2004 than Guns has since 1987.
The 2010’s seen more releases from Freddie Mercury than Axl Rose.

What material? Are you talking about "CD 2", aka demos that we don't know which condition they are in, or any new material? If Slash took his guitar combo na jammed with Axl in his studio, they are the only ones who own their material. What company/method they'll choose to release it through is a different question, but my point is, any quarter of a century old contract may be terminated as long as you're willing to pay for it. I've never heard of a major band who would keep having difficulties in 2010s/2020s because of an agreement concluded in the 90s...
The Chinese sessions in general. Prince had a bit of difficulty back in the day with Warner Bros. did he not? They probably could terminate their contract, but any material created while they/company they took over funded the sessions they must have something sorted where they have access to it? I'm unsure how it'll work, but I do believe that the majority of the next release under the Guns N' Roses name will be material from those sessions.

Again, as multi-millionaires, they can back off from any contract, even if they had to pay a large penalty for that. What could happen? Nothing. It's like, all right, you wanna terminate it? Pay us 10 million bucks. Fine, here you are and fuck off forever.
I just don't buy that "thay have troubles releasing stuff because of a recording company", etc. etc.
Who owns the material though?
Do Universal not have first dibs on it seen as one of the companies they took over funded a large part of it's initial recording? I'm unsure how it works.

I'm booked up for Poland, hopefully everything is grand by then. Unfortunately it doesn't look likely.

GOAT: Sailing
Honourable mentions: Dead Flowers, Mama Kin, Wichita Lineman (I take the piss with it a lot, but the band truly sound phenomenal on it), Don't Let It Bring You Down
Worst: I Feel Good, The Seeker (great song, it's run it's course for me though. Axl sounds great on it), Tie Your Mother Down, We Will Rock You, Back In The USSR
All off the top of my head. I'd throw Live and Let Die in the mix with the worst, but at this point, it's a staple along with KOHD.

That intro, along with the first verse, is as good as anything I’ve heard from Guns.

I'll keep a hold of my tickets if they reschedule. At this stage though, I do hope the tour is postponed.
