  1. Axl indicated that there must have been other actions from Madison in the past which he met with strong disapproval. I'm not the one to decide if Axl's rage is justified or not. But one thing I know. Axl for sure didn't exactly take the high road when expressing his feelings towards Madison. But then again aren't Axl occasional tantrums - on- and offstage - part of the reason why GN'R became the most dangerous band in the world in the first place?

    More important: Surprise gigs!! rock1

  2. Sorry to create a new topic for this one. Chances are high that this was already discussed but I couldn't find anything.

Anyway, here goes: In the Tokyo monitor mix, when BBF plays the Pink Panther Theme and throws in a bit of "Estranged", Axl comments "I heared that" in a sarcastic tone. Doesn't have to mean anything but how cool is that? :xmasssanta:

Yeah, probably not threadworthy, I just lol'ed when I listened to this for the first time and wanted to share.

  3. The Scraped video on the left of gunnersbrasil.com is from the Osaka Bootleg, I have the whole show on 2 DVDs right here..it's a shot of the screen, in 8GB DVD format...VERY good bootleg might I add.

    I gave it:

    V - 8.5

    A - 8

Where would I be able to get these 2 DVDs from?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the torrent.

  4. When talking guitarists from the post 1993-era, my dream line up would be Bucket and Ashba on lead, with Fortus handling the rhythm guitar.

Although I have to say, BBF improved so much from 2006/07 to 2009/10, that the line up we have is killer, too. It's just that no one is as awesome as Bucket in my book.

  5. Apart from the sound quality I kinda liked it!

Could you write out the chords of the song?

Thanks man, I guess that i just get bored of seeing a million people putting up the same old licks on youtube you know...

Yeah the singing's a bit ropey(and deffo at the end) and the sound quality makes me wanna hack my ears off in reflection... but It's gonna be my mission to try and do as many obscure GnR tunes just for fun, me and a mate were doing some great versions of 'Pretty Tied Up', Bad Apples', 'Out ta Get me' and 'One in a Million'(alt lyrics, lol) all on acoustics. And he's a faaar better singer than me (i'm a noob to the singing, i've been hiding behind my guitar for years so it's getting there)

I'll get round to the chords at some point for ya but it'll be a little while cos it's mostly in my head what they are, all except for the outro... man they're tricky chords to remember...

    Peacout all...

Same bat time... Same bat channell...

Cool, looking forward to it! :)

  6. No offense, but Axl sounds bitter as fuck. Especially about Slash. We're supposed to believe that everything that has happened is someone else's fault and EVERYTHING we've been told about him are all lies.

I think the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

People love sayin' that middle trip. Easy to say but not so easy to prove.

Unfortunately it's not in the middle and I can back up every last line in my bit or I wouldn't be here.

You love his work and whatever else. More power to you!

And no, I'm not bitter at least in the sense of how you used it conveys. Felt good gettin' some of that off my chest and as I said that's just the tip.

If that's your honest impression it's definitely not rose colored lenses you're wearing. And I looked up the definition of bitter once in a pocket dictionary and got "having anger at something unjust or evil". I'm not angry but when I am with this particular someone who I thought was once my friend... the definition fits.

 I just quoted a post that was made by W. Axl Rose!

What a silly fanboy I am!
