I really think that every audiance of the upcoming shows should shout something like that as loud as they can.

Also it would be great if some people could display signs that read "Tell us the release date, Axl!" or "6 Tuesdays left" something like that.

Let's show GN'R that the fans really want this album out this year and don't take any more excuses and delays!

Taking a look at the 1st page of this forum, it's one thread after another of disappointed fans talking about rumored release dates, record store BS, and mislead DJ's. I can't help but feel this a shocking contrast to the mood around here for the past eight months.

Starting with leaks, tour dates, Izzy on stage with Axl, Axl himself saying "It will be out this year". I can't believe they will drop the ball after all this. Most of this year has been the best GnR year since the early 90's. Axl has worked too hard to rebuild his reputation after the 2002 mess. I still have hope that he won't let us down. That's not to say that I'm not getting on with my life, but I think he has too much riding on this to fail this far in.

Ya, the good mood is going down indeed. But is it any wonder? No, it's understandable, and I feel the same way too. There's no indication of a CD release to be seen, only false rumours over rumours. Band/management don't say anything, and we keep waiting and waiting...

You know, this band has a history of hinting towards a imminent CD release from 1999 onwards, it wouldn't be the first time they didn't stick to their word. That's why the fans' sceptism is appropriate.

If they are doing it in 2006, releasing it before Thanksgiving is the best business move. In the US the day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year, and it is insane. Businesses go from in the red into the black on that one day. Hence 'black Friday'. If not then, just wait til 2007.

I would suggest Axl didn't sing any GNR tune because he wasn't with his band. I think his performance was a spontaneous, unplaned thing. Axl and the band at the event must have chatted and agreed on a song both sides knew to perform.

Of course I'll be pissed as hell, but I'd stick around anyway.

I think anyone, who saw the tour ending with a riot and and without explanation in 2002, who stayed at this board in 2003, 2004, 2005 without nearly any real "news" until Axl went into the public again at the Korn party, will stay in 2007 too, even if CD won't be released at any of the remaining Tuesdays in 2006.

But if Axl won't deliver in 2006, it's safe to say that we can kiss a lot of the people who joined this board in 2006 goodbye.

IMO the fire regulations stuff is a lame excuse. I think the real reason is that the management realized that only few tickets were sold, today and in Worcester. So they wanted to put the two crowds together. So they have to perform only once.

Of course that's not very nice and it sucks major donkey balls for the people who planed to attend the show tonight. But I'm kinda reliefed because I already had the apprehension that the whole tour was off and we would have to wait until 2008 before Axl would make his next public appearance and tell someone that he is planing to release Chinese Democracy in the spring of 2009

Perhaps it would be a good idea for anyone in the US to call the DCU Center Worcester, MA, were GNR were to perform the day after tomorrow. Let's see if that show also got canceled or this is only a one-time thing!

Hopefully the next official word from management isn't that the whole tour is canceled...

As we know its getting very late in the year for CD top be released and some of you are suspecting that it may be released next year or indeed even 2008.

The argument obviously stems from production time and getting the CD artwork finished and printed and then getting the damn thing into the shops. Obviously somewhere along the line we'd hear something. i.e its being printed here and there or "Ive seen the finished CD" etc etc...

Now.. this may seem just a little far fetched but I have a theory that may feasible.

CD could be in mass production in Area 51 in nevada. This is a top secret facility and its one of the most secure places on earth. This is the sort of place where if you leak information you could be shot on site and we all know how determined Axl can be to keep things under wraps. Also they have air bases there and could easily distribute the CD around the world without having to do it by road etc.

I for one have started thinking this may be the most likely scenario.

Plus: Nobody in the GNR wouldn't even THINK about going there because this idea is out of this world.

It's like: Yeah, I think that CD is locked in Fort Knox, you know, it's a very secure place and Axl is afraid to see CD leaked. So perhaps he rent some place in there to let it be produced in there. And they have very complex safety controls in there too, so nobody could steal it.

I agree. Maybe Bush is involved in helping to get this CD pressed secretly. Think about it. He's taken his eye off the ball with quite a few other things recently.
