I saw a YouTube comment the other day from some woman, on about how she hates Axl because she attended a show in 1991, and they proceeded to play half a set of new songs that nobody knew. She was livid. To this day!
What a stark contrast to today's GN'R fan

Bon Jovi
Slash can be Sambora, nobody would know the difference

It's better than the 1999 re recorded version.

Just watched Hells Bells from this show and I think it was the "roughest" one so far, if that's the right word for it. Like, it was rasp but it a bit forced? Idk, can't criticise him for it, it's a fucker of a song.
And I thought that was the best one yet lol

It would be, without question, truly horiffic .
Not being mean to Axl, but just no.

I must admit, I'm not too keen on his vocals for thunderstruck. I prefer hells bells, hell ain't a bad place to be and highway to hell. Basically, anything about hell.

If they haven't asked Matt Sorum, they sure as hell aren't going to be asking Gilby.
I wonder if they've even bothered to ask Izzy

It is funny reading comments from Axl fans who are not particular AC/DC fans.
They'll never be able to listen to any other version again....not that they did in the first place

Will the weather in late October be warm enough for stadiums?
I wouldn't have thought so

I get that...but why does no one take the car and why do trains not go after midnight?
Because the British like to drink lots and lots of beer!
The trains are rubbish :/

is it true that most UK citizens used to leave GnR concerts before curfew so they would catch trains? Really no one goes by car??
I've been to a few UK shows and yes a lot leave before the end

The only thing that doesn't add up is.....why would he ask to fill in with AC/DC if he thought he couldn't do it?
If he didn't know he can sing like that?
He must have known he can.

What would be absolutely awesome is AC/DC followed by GNR. Don't think Axl's up to that though.
Maybe a double show with both bands. 3 songs & change. Keep everyone happy.
They could do their own touring festival, like other bands have done, so one night it's AC/DC and the next GnR. If they could get a few well known bands to join in and take some of the younger, up and coming bands with them I would go to that.

I'm surprised Tony has agreed to it to be honest. Ozzy yes, he seems to enjoy all that crap.
I saw The Ozzfest at Donington 2002, I went to see Ozzy, well he kept us waiting for nearly two hours after the last band had played in the howing wind and rain. He was just ok after that. Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society were a highlight though.

You're comparing a young Bon Scott at his peak with a middle aged Axl Rose?
Yeah, that was a bit unfair of me

ACDC are only doing major countries...there's like 30 more that need to be covered in GnR itinerary.. Guns toured Europe in 2010 over 2 months... Even if its possible, it's too much of an effort to tour extensively without breaks between the legs...
2010 was in arenas though. If they're planning on stadiums then they only have to do half the amount in 2010 and still make more money. If they did do Wembley, for example, for a couple of nights, I'm sure people from other European countries will travel there.

Black Sabbath seems really out of place on that line up and I wouldn't bother going to the other day.
Saw Slipknott at download 09 after The Prodigy finished. Not my thing. Corey did a surprise appearance with Duff and sang a couple of GnR songs, metal style ?

Bon Scott was so very very awesome, I've been having a look at old AC/DC gigs on YouTube and he's at least level with Axl for me now.
Theres no way Axl can better him.

Doors open 6:30 P.M. France Time (5:30 GMT) So I guess GN'R takes the stage 9 or 9:30 P.M.
It's true, Axl really is stealing all the lime light from AC/DC ?

Ones I watch....ritz 88, argentina 93, Paris bercy 93. There's a ton of others though.
Concerts ive been to from 01 up until 2012, I would pick manchester 2012. November rain and civil war were worth it alone.
i was also convinced i wouldn't get to see Axl again. Glad that's not going to happen

Good grief they have to keep If You Want Blood (You Got It) in their set, it's encore stuff, switch its place with Riff Raff.
That song has been stuck in my head all day now
