Didn't Axl say the only day off from rehearsals that he had was for the surgery on his foot?
i assume he was rehearsing with AC/DC at that time and he still sounded weak for Guns n Roses.
It's clear Axls voice is just better suited to AC/DC. I hope Im wrong.

Just Phenomenal.
Btw, is it just me, or does the swinging giant bell above our stationery, immobile hero seem just a tad little scary?
It's to capture him, like mouse trap, if he starts with the "thanks to the lame ass security.." Shit.
Do you know how come they don't play Shake your foundations?

There was a picture he posted on Twitter of himself cooking breakfast. I've seen a pic floating about of him cooking burgers.
Just simple things, but well, it's more than my husband does!!

I'm selfishly hoping by Manchester June 9th. I wanna see him move!
Me too. I reckon he will be, if he can do some light walking now he should be ok by then.
I hope he hasn't become reliant on the chair though. He's singing the best he has for years on that damn thing, might be psychologically challenging to go back to standing up.

That's pretty good.
My guess is maybe the soccer guy was a bigger GN'R fan than AC/DC fan and he ended up with some of the refunded tickets. Last minute type of thing.
He's Sergio Ramos, I think they would let him in for free lol. I saw his Spanish team mate Cesc Fabregas at the Manchester show in 2012

more hatless Axl!
I have listened to this about ten times in a row, I'm blown away.

I was a bit more excited by the AC/DC thing at first, now he's got a couple of shows under his belt I'm starting to want gnr back.
ive got a ticket to see AC/DC in June, and I'm looking forward to it, but I really want to see Guns n Roses more.
We haven't been able to see the big three truly interact yet because of Axls injury.
Once he's back on his feet i should imagine the gnr shows to be something else.

If Axl keeps his ACDC form up then I wouldn't care if there were no opening bands and guns can play for three hours.

Don't they play shake your foundations? Or is that just not a popular song?
-
How many stages do they have?!
-
No way will it be Foo Fighters.
Guns n Roses need a band they can follow.
You can imagine the press would kiss Daves ass and say they were the better band.
That should rule out Green Day too.

Axl answered fans questions about guns n roses though, that's good enough for me.

So classic rock want an interview then. Don't think so!
I wish they would shut the hell up about Axl on their Facebook page, they put a story about him up every few hours to fan the flames.

Oh, okay thanks. I remember listening to a recording back then. But the Black Sabbath bit didn't stick to mind.
I'm sure it's in there somewhere.
He also played "it's alright"as an intro to November rain so he's obviously gone through black sabbaths catalogue a fair bit

Haha, that's cool to hear! I missed that one. Got any links? I couldn't find any.
I'm pretty sure it's the 2006 Eddie trunk show he gatecrashed. I can't remember exactly what he said but I remember him talking about it and saying Ozzy is an influence on him. Then he picked ace of spades to be played. I don't know how to link lol

Axl loves black sabbath, he said so on the interview he crashed with Sebastian Bach
btw I was only joking, of course he would be ridiculous in black sabbath lol

He threw his mic at the monitor man because of sound problems, he missed and it hit someone else.
Theres an interview about it on YouTube .

AC/DC album.
If you go from the hype of both bands current tours, then AC/DC with Axl has been talked about way more.
If Angus let Axl have a little bit of input and write the lyrics then I think it would be an awesome album to boot.
I would much rather have have a gnr album though.

Good thing is from what I understand the rest of AC/DC's U.S. dates are arenas instead of stadiums. So it should be easier to cover any refunds from diehard AC/DC fans.
I see, well then that will sell no problem then. Win win for AC/DC.
I wish the shows here were arenas.
