I'd ask what does he remember about the writing sessions and CD songs (I mean, those included on the album) timeline. Example: song X was ready to go when he joined the band, song Y was written in studio around 2001, etc. Or: Robin came in with a riff for that song and we did this and that...
Oh, and I'd ask him about the new version of Silkworms.

Matthew Bellamy sucks ass big time.
-
Probably just sat there for a while
I suppose that's just in the USA (because of the best buy deal). Here in Italy it's still readily available in almost every record store (along with AFD, UYI etc, of course).
-
But just take a look at the people who leaved the band. Josh Freese, Paul Tobias, Tony Lambretti, Robin Finck, Buckethead, and Brian Mantia.

I simply said that in a crowd of, let's say, 8000 people, a lot of them aren't die hard fans and I can see why they'd rather enjoy WTTJ as the opener.
Of course die hard fans can like WTTJ better too, that's called taste.
-
I like CD as the opener, but I can see why "casual" fans would like WTTJ better.
A nice thing could be WTTJ as opener and then the band go straight into CD main riff (without the long intro).

No more updates? Maybe the guy's phone died

I'm going with 2001 too.

I'd like to buy two "tickets" for the streaming, one for me and one for a friend as a gift. Do you think it's possibile to pay 2 times with the same paypal account for 2 different persons?

I hear "HASTA LA VISTA BABY" right before the solo

Now there's a rumble in the bronx

Not getting my hopes up that much, but it's good to know they're doing some studio work at least.
-
I guess nobody from gnr camp talked about this before to not get our hopes high etc etc
-
You sure? I didn't think he's working in studio with Thin Lizzy
I’ve been out with Guns since then. We went straight in to rehearsals and recording and down to South America for six weeksHas he been six weeks in South America with TL?
-
So, I guess you already heard that, but I post it anyway.
This is the interview:

Interesting quotes:
Yeah and I was out with Thin Lizzy last summer. Then I came back and did three months with them in Europe, came straight back and I’ve been out with Guns since then. We went straight in to rehearsals and recording and down to South America for six weeks and then started in the US and we’ve been gone the whole time.I’ll be out with Guns in May, June and July and then we have to finish up some more recording and hopefully get the record out and be on tour in the fall in the States I’m hoping. It's the first time any of them talk about those sessions, I guess they wanted to kept the whole thing kind of hush-hush.
Maybe we'll see it in 2013.

If they really feel they MUST cover a song, then I hope it's CORNSHUCKER.
You know, the whole song will be censored by beeps and we won't hear anything. :xmasssanta:

In the interview, Niven says he's sorta producing/managing this young guitar player called Chris Buck. Is there anyone here (maybe FuddMcKagan or Mango?) who used to post on gnrsource and remember him? I think he's some guy from UK who used to post there, he had all of these videos where he was playing gnr tunes. His nickname was something like Bucky or BuckSlash, if I'm not wrong. If it's him, well, congrats.

Green day is one of the biggest bands in the world right now...this is good news
Yeah, but "big" doesn't always mean "good". I think GD were actually funny when "Dookie" came out. I like that one, I like "Kerplunk" too, but I can't really stand anything they've done after those, especially the '00s stuff like "American Idiot" and the one after that. I'm forced to listen to an awful tune from them every week 'cause is the WWE Smackdown theme song. I don't know the title, but I think it's from "21st Century Breakdown". For the record, once a week I'm forced to listen to Nickelback too, cause the WWE Raw theme song is from them. So the bottom line is that WWE musical tastes kinda suck :xmasssanta:
