  1. Hi people, I don't know the right section to post this thread, hence I'm putting it here so that more users will be able to read it.

Mods of course can move it if they think this isn't the place.

So, we know that Axl back in the early 90s used to like NIN a lot (and he called them to open some european shows in 1991), but

does anyone remember if he's ever publicly spoken about their music/about Reznor?

I need to know this for a project I'm currently working on, so any kind of help (especially if you can provide a link with the source, either a transcribed magazine interview or a video interview from youtube would do the trick) would be really appreciated.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

  2. 1991, I was a little 7 years old kid who loved Schwarzenegger's movies.

I saw the T2-themed video and then heard the song again in the movie. In a couple of weeks I was lucky enough to tape the song off the radio and record the video off the tv.

A couple of months later I found out that an older cousin of mine had both UYI cds, but I didn't have a cd player back then, so I asked him to tape them for me and that was it, I had a new favourite band :xmasssanta:

Of course when I got my first cd player in 1993 UYI I & 2 were among the first records I got (if you wanna know, the others were Europe's Prisoners In Paradise", Slayer's "Season In The Abyss", Alice Cooper's "Hey Stoopid", Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" and Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way")

  3. Great setlist. Better's back and so is Shackler's. Whole Lotta Rosie is an awesome treat too. I wonder why did they stick to the short setlist for both shows in Italy :(

(I'm still very satisfied of the shows I attended here, don't get me wrong!)

  4. The show is over. Confetti over the audience during paradise city. Same setlist as yesterday in the end, still no "better".

Axl's voice sounded a bit tired, but it improved during 2nd half of the show.

The crowd was HUGE and enjoyed every minute of it.

  5. I'm on my way to Milan (posting this message from the train!)

Hope to see another kickass show in a packed venue tonight!

I'm crossing my fingers for them to play 'better' (i mean the song :D)

Like yesterday, I'll try to post 2 or 3 big updates during the show (can't post them song by song)

    Cheers from f'n Italy!

  6. Just came back to my hotel.

Axl & the guys were in great shape. I'm not a big fan of Ashba but he was surprising: very fun watching him live.

The crowd went nuts, really loved them. Not one single booing, no slash chants, just a kickass show. Can't wait to see them again tiomorrow in milan!
