    GTA 5

Heres a list of confirmed songs in the game http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/1kyndb/complete_gta_v_soundtrack_leaked_list_of_songs/

Doesnt look like theres any gnr on there :( there is a link to download all of the games songs though if anyones got some free time lol the track listing i read wasnt final so... you never know

Tracklisting far from final in my opinion...

And Def Leppard - Photograph not in classic Rock Radio? mmmhhh

I think the classic rock radio will be different from what is listed (stevie wonder in classic rock? lol)

    GTA 5

Can we be realistic about this? Nobody has been able to verify where the 'My Michelle' rumour came from. Don't be disappointed if the final tracklist doesn't list GNR anywhere.

Also, Tommy 'The Nightmare' Smith appealed to a specific group of people, rock nerds and GNR fans. It was by no means a highlight of the game nor would the character be in any way detrimental to the future of GTA.

    MMMMhhhh,

still, at the moment you leave with "The Truth" from the Countryside to San Fierro, Tommy The Nightmare Smith is the DJ on the radio telling you about that part of the City and the station cannot be chnaged at that moment. He is the "star" DJ of the game (same as Lazlow in GT VC or even Iggy Pop in GTA IV).

And the station is really hilarious by the way. I really hope he's the K-DST DJ again.

  1. In my opinion, new music would motivate him to get up on stage and kick.

I highly doubt Axl is okay with playing mostly songs from the original GnR days.

I'm sure that there's something preventing the band from releasing more music. This is something I'm convinced about.

I sincerely hope that when (if) CDII is released, we'll see a better sounding Axl.

  2. He came to do damage control, let's not forget that.

It is just completely irrelevant why his reasons were for coming here. Fact is still that people mocked him, mocked the band and were incredible disrespectful.

That comes with the territory man. When you replace someone iconic in a band, expect some backlash. You think Jason Newstead had it easy when he replaced Cliff Burton? Even his own bandmembers hazed him. You think Tommy Thayer has it easy playing Ace Frehley's guitar parts every show? Bumble knew what he was signing up for.

Indeed, must have been a tough job replacing Buckethead :(

  3. I was there and it was brilliant.

    Axl was in top form.

LOL @ the poor reviews, they write this because it is politically correct to kiss the old band's ass... fuck that. I had a great time and that's all that counts in my book.

Shame that this band doesn't record anything.

  4. It sucks for me because the very reason he was singing IMO is that Slash is promoting a new album and tour with Myles, that sucks that he did it this way

Really? I thought the very reason he was singing was because the lead singer bailed on them 3 days before the event.

Interesting conspiracy theory though. It would mean that Duff, Steven and Matt would have had to agree to be a part of that, and the whole thing about being there for the fans was only a charade to just support Slash and his new album and tour.

I'll be honest, I didn't hear all the audio. Did Myles or Slash announce a new album or any upcoming gigs? The only promotion I've seen surrounding this HOF thing was when Axl mention his own tour near the end of his letter.

Cool of Myles to drop everything, fly to Cleveland to help these guys out, and allow the band and their fans celebrate the induction.

WOW, I totally missed the moment when Axl told he would sing a song with the former members from 20 years ago for the Rock n' Roll HOF induction.

I also missed the moment when he said he would come to the ceremony...

    damn...
