  1. I wonder what you guy found so bad.

It's a fuckin' commercial. At least he does not go AWOL like after CD was released.

If that means that he comes out of his house to promote to upcoming-to-be-released-soon album, he can even do toilet paper commercials as far as I'm concerned.

At least he seems to be in a good mood and he looks less bloated.

  2. Haha it's in print. No way to know the context or tone of voice and chances are he even said "Tommy" afterwards but for drama sake they cut his qute short. Just speculation on my part but that's likely what happened. Slash doesn't give a fuck about Axl's GnR. He's so beyond it yet so many people want desperately for Slash to be bitter and they so desperately want Slash to be desperate to be back in Axl's band when the reality is Slash doesn't give two shits at this point. It's funny because the people saying Slash is butt hurt are obviously the ones who are butt hurt. you're butt hurt that Slash doesn't even care what Axl does yet it's clear Axl is obsessed with what Slash does. It's like being obsessed with your ex and then being pissed off they aren't obsessed back.

Meh, I don't think Axl cares about what Slash is doing at all. Same for Slash, I don't think he cares at all. His solo career is all what matters now, and he's cool with it.

  3. I'm sure most of you don't know it but Axl wanted Dizzy in the band already in the 80s (can't remember the exact year) but it didn't happen 'cos Dizzy broke his arm in a motorcycle accident or sth...

I'm not for schadenfreude ever, but that seriously happened for the best.

Visions of Jungle and Brownstone with a load of honky tonk piano on top!!

If I'm not mistaken (which could be possible), he plays percussions on both.

That's why I kinda like what he brings to GnR live, he can add percussions and piano on almost every songs. Even though he is pretty useless on some (ISE for example).

  4. Hello all

    Relatively simple question.

Some might say "no" because he was not part of AFD.

Some might say yes because he was (and still is) the first and only keyboards/piano player of GnR.

In my opinion it's a yes, since keyboards an piano are a big partt of GnR sound, and AFD songs have room for a guy like Dizzy (percussions, piano, synths...).

    What do you guys think?
