  1. Axl was the last person James would give a fuck to in 1994 when this song was being recorded.

Maybe off-topic but talking about Metallica, let's not fool ourselves, Metallica was and still is in a different league. Metallica's lyrics are dealing with much more serious topics than attacking an individual.

Axl on the other hand hasn't really been serious about running GNR (except '02,'06,'10). Otherwise he wouldn't hire a prick to manage his band.

  2. The Rolling Stones cancelling a tour or concert is upsetting considering their vast discography consisting of 26 albums.

GNR, barely with 4 albums in 40 years with the last one being from 14 years ago which have been touring the hell out of the place almost every year.

So... no, I wouldn't miss them if they cancel a tour or show here and there.

In fact I had the chance to see them again in 2018 and didn't. My two cents.

Are we really discussing November Rain? what's next? Estranged?

And The Garden is out. Then we wonder why Axl doesn't want to release new music

Estranged, Coma and The Garden are easily in my top 10 fav songs with Estranged being no.1

Not that I don't like songs like Nov Rain & Don't Cry but the mainstream ruined the fun for these songs for me. Just like SCOM.

I don't know it's my personal feeling and opinion but the fact that every K-POP and Justin Bieber fan would play these songs in one of those TikTok 'emotional' piano vids is irritating.

  4. We live in a world where Nov Rain and Right Next Door To Hell is prefered over the two best songs of GNR "Perfect Crime" and "Don't Damn Me".

And this isn't one of those mainstream music forums, it's the oldest GNR fan forum that's supposed to have diehards.

No wonder TB still milks us to death. :-)))))

Last night I was watching an interview with Duff talking about appearing with Axl in 2010 and how they were coincidentally booked into hotel rooms next to each other. I can’t find it now! Does anyone know of a link to it? It was on YouTube and he spoke

about how there was no feelings of resentment between them.

I guess the most detailed text on this can be found in Duff's book It's So Easy and Other Lies.

You obviously have very bad taste. Otherwise the 2001 lineup wouldn't be your favorite as well

You're entitled to your opinion and I respect that. Doesn't mean I'm gonna swear at you because you like WTTJ.

As for the lineups, yea 2001-2002 has a special place in my heart as it bears lot of nostalgia from my Teenage years. I like AFD but as far as lineup goes, I'm a fan of anything post 91 with the exception of 2012-2014. Also Big love for the '93 image of the band.

Sweet Child O' Mine over PC or Brownstone?? That song has some of the best guitar work I've heard, and inspired to be a guitarist. This is mad, I also tell you!

I guess many fans got bored of SCOM only because of disasterous post 2012 performances. I myself used to like the song so much but Axl has been butchering it so much that the song has been pain in my ears for quite some years now. Just like KOHD.
