I find it creepy when grown-ass people use social media to document their lives to the public. I get young people doing it. She’s probably bored... she should get a job, take potter classes or something.

So much this. It's your private life so keep it to yourself. It's one thing to show some rehearsal snippets or something related to the band that's of interest to people and that's great but all those alcove comments - it's your life not mine and I don't wanna know. Some things are private by nature, I wish people could keep them as such. Especially grown up, well, even a little more than grown-up (not to say aging) adults. Also I find it irritating when grown-up or past middle age women act as sweet sixteens. It's degrading.

Not trying to be funny here, but is English not Fernando's first language?  His posts are difficult to understand at times.  I'm confused though, because I thought he grew up in America, or have I got that wrong?

Exactly my thoughts. I don't understand that either. He sounds as if he came to the US several years ago and I guess he grew up there, went to school there, what's wrong with that guy?

Coming back to his tweet that started all that, if anyone is really clueless, it is Fernando and he's absolutely clueless about how to be a manager  This was so pathethic. The clothes that have always been so important in Guns N'Roses. For that alone Axl, Slash and Duff should shoot him :shrugs:

From what I know, and I am Polish, there were no plans to perform Guns in Poland in 1992.  there was no proper musical infrastructure, Poland was just after the political revolution and the fall of communism, which is why GNR never had a chance to perform in Poland

There were no such plans although it wasn't because of lack of infrastructure. Not sure how old you are Politania but in those years I atended concerts by for example Metallica and Aerosmith - quite big bands as well ;)

Bro they can fall back on frank anytime and just give Steven a chance to play a few shows only appetite tunes. There is no risk that's just a fuckin myth imo

Yeah, but it still means dealing with Adler and with his frustrations and complaints, his child-like behavior, shit- talking in the press and his mother and everything that goes with it, which, it seems, is exactly what they want to avoid. Steven wants to be a full-time drummer in GN'R. He is 100% certain he's capable of it and anything less is an insult to him. That means he'll be  frustrated with them with anything less. And that will sooner or later lead to problems. We don't know what the behind the scenes lookes like with Steven. We don't know what he was expecting, asking, complaining about. Maybe it was unmanagable for them in a longer term? We don't know. And don't get me wrong. I am not defending them. I still think having him fly over to play ONE song was idiotic and insulting to pretty much everyone. But I can understand they might not want to deal on a regular basis with a guy who has a mind of a 12-year old and what's more constanly feels he's not getting enough from them.

Steven was heavily off the rails in the early 2000's. Fighting his sobriety and drug abuse.

Matt seemed more reliable. And given his efforts in Snakepit, why not? A lot more time has passed since Slash was in a band with Steven, than with Matt, up to that point.

Altogether it's been 26 years since Steven was fired and all this time he dreamed and begged to do anything with Slash and Slash never hired him. You can look for all kinds of explanations except for the most simple and obvious one - Steven is not capable of being relied on or trusted or treated as a grown-up reliable partner anymore. Which is why neither Slash nor any known professional in the rock'n'roll world ever invited him for serious cooperation. And no, I don't hate Steven, I don't blame him, I don't think it is his fault, however decades of drug abuse and all the strokes have left a trace on him and the guy is now more like a 12 year-old and thet's the major problem. Even the fans that meet him confirm that.

I think this might actually be a new recording. Either that, or it's a really early take. Compared to the version from Jumpin' Ax Flash, I feel like there's quite the difference in tone to his voice.

But there's an effortlessness and easiness with which he sings that has been missing in his voice and way of singing for years now plus to me it sounds like 86 Axl as he used to sing so high then, it's just beeen touched up here and there during the mixing, remastering or whatever technolgical processing I hardly know anything about. But other than that, to me, it's exactly his early 80-s voice in very fast songs like this.

They said the book was 96-pages. I highly doubt they could fill a 96-page book with all pictures and no Axl notes or stories

I'm afraid, in the best case, it will be filled with Fernando's notes and stories  There'll be lyrics, pictures and an abundance of stupid facts or whatever other bullshit. If Mr Axl was ready to make an effort and share some interesting stories, he'd write a book and sell it on its own.

OBVIOUSLY you're not much of a GNR fan cause this was CLEARLY recorded earlier this year.  It's definitely Fortus on guitar and Frank on drums and I hear Melissa doing background vocals and if you can't hear Axl's current voice and Slash's current guitar playing, well then I just feel sorry for you cause you clearly don't like GNR at all.

You are joking, right? If Axl's current voice was like that, we would be in a wholly different world

So! Who of you lot is going to get the Locked & Loaded version? :P

EDIT: Also I’d like to collect your prognosis, foreseeings and bets on how Shadow of Your Love is going to do in the charts. :P

Never. Even if I win a lottery tomorrow I'll still be against being ripped off like a true sucker. You want my money, gentlemen? Get your fucking asses in the studio, make an effort, record NEW music and release it. I ain't gonna pay shitloads of money for songs I've been listening to for 15 years on you tube or CDs I bought as a teenager. Actually I consider this whole release as almost offensive to the fans.

To be honest, most of the demos and LPs are stuff I'd listen to once and then only again from time to time if I'm bored and browsing through my music. I just wouldn't ever see myself sitting there and jamming out to 30+ year old unfinished pieces that the band never cared enough to finish because they knew it wasn't album-worthy. Don't get me wrong - I would never spend $1,000 on any music box set, but I especially wouldn't for a bunch of demos that have been fixed up and remixed to sound better. Shit, the only way I'd spend over $100 was if it included new music. And by "new," I don't mean previously unreleased stuff that was recorded 30 years ago.

    This! Out of likes.

Something has truly died in this band. It is now Kiss. I actually miss Rose when he was an artsy fartsy weirdo in braids and not this Gene Simmons replica.

Unfortunately, I must agree... What they're doing now is so distasteful... They've become the exact opposite of what they used to stand for when they actually attracted millions of people to follow them.

I stated in several posts THAT is the most attractive piece of the whole package. If it's been done well, easily worth at least 60-70 bucks. Maybe even more if it has written content by Axl on the period, with new info and anecdotes we haven't heard from other sources. Imagine...

There's no chance on earth Axl has done anything like that, I'm afraid.

Do you really wanna know his shoe size or is that an euphemism?

Just shoe size. No hidden meanings, you naughty girls... Just had a discussion once with someone in which we disagreed on weather his feet are small or big (yeah, I know, a very important issue ) and I began to wonder if there has ever been any information on his shoe size, especially that now they're exhibiting his shoes, so maybe someone saw what size they were
