quite expensive but well worth it imo... been dying to see them at a smaller venue and the higher price pretty much ensures that only real fans will go... bon jovi fans stay home lol

pretty sure the 2010 gnr show at the bell center was about $60 too... which is probably where the eagles are playing... already stated im glad its not at the bell center again, but for those that wanna see a larger show in a larger crowd can always take the 20 down to qc lol the tickets are $30... providing all those $75 passes sell out

It took Axl a long time to get more UYI tracks back in the setlist.

the reason for that i would think is cuz its a little more challenging... not only for axl himself, but for the rest of the band as well... if it were because of bad blood, i dont think he would have ever added them to the set lists... we all know axl isnt one to let a grudge go, or "burry the hatchet" lol

personally think the reason u dont hear uyi stuff live as much as afd stuff is cuz its alot more complicated stuff... stuff only the original lineup could pull off the right way... sorry but to hear miles kennedy or even scott weiland for that matter, doing vocals for songs like estranged or even november rain is just plain wrong... and those are 2 of the most popular songs... can u imagine them signing stuff like coma, dont damn me... or right next door to hell ? lol

same goes for the current line-up of gnr... still like the band so dont get me wrong, but something just doesnt sit well with me when i hear ashba "trying" to play slash solos lol you hear alot more afd stuff cuz most of the tracks on that album are classics... classics almost any band could cover well... theyre songs that no matter who plays them, when you hear them, you think gnr.. the uyi stuff imo is a product of the chemistry (or lack therof depending how you see things lol) they had in the 90's.. chemistry that cant be replicated no matter how hard any band other than classic gnr tries... and im pretty sure axl and slash are very aware of this too... dont think it has very much to do with "bad blood" tbh

Ticket sales at govenor's ball seemed great .Remember that,the doomsday show for the band,the one where they were going too get booed and bottled off the stage because they didn't fit the bill,remember that show.

4. rated this period last cuz just like everyone else, i was a little dissapointed with the new band at first... they really grew on me in the following years... someone mentionned it above, but i didnt think buckethead really fit in and there was the whole lack of new material

speaking of new material, i noticed the OP skipped from 07 straight to 09... but CD was released in 08... pretty big period in axls career if you ask me and no one really touched on the year that this album finally dropped... love it or hate it, it had a pretty big impact on where hes at now
