Yes, the piano driven song played at the Vienna party is probably real.

The other story though, about a song that Axl wrote about his mother, originated from another forum (gunsnfnroses). They had posted a supposed exclusive interview with a woman who worked in Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas, iirc. I had found that post when I first read about that story and it clearly looked like a hoax - that forum was known for hoaxes and trolling anyway.

Oh okay, thanks for the clarification. Well at minimum we do have a potentially unknown song to maybe look forward to. Whether it links up with one of the known titles, hard to say.

The only songs we know for sure are complete are Atlas, Perhaps, State of Grace, and The General. We know because we have heard them.

    Everything else is complete speculation.

Other songs have been mentioned and it possible some of them are finished and it’s possible we’ve heard the instrumental demos under different titles on the village discs, but again that’s just speculation.

Axl did indicate he recorded vocals for ‘Soul Monster’…. Which some have speculated is on the village demos as ‘Me and my Elvis’ but it’s not clear to me what evidence they are using for they claim… Other than the Elvis connection.

I’m willing to take Axl’s word on that… or it could be like ‘Nothing’ or ‘Eye on You’ and all he recorded was a chorus or verse idea.

we don’t know until the band releases

    more or more is leaked.

We also know there is another piano based song that was was played at the Austrian after party that wasn’t Perhaps or anything from the locker leaks. So that’s one more untitled song. There was also the woman who worked at the one venue that said Axl played and sang a song on the piano which was about his mother. Someone else may have more details on that. It’s possible they are the same song or 2 separate piano songs.

Now I don’t believe there’s hundreds of completely finished songs. But I do believe if they wanted to release an album without re-recording parts. They have more than enough for a couple albums. Under 40 songs but more than 20.

Axl might be the boss but Slash and Duff have a huge amount of power. What would Axl do if they left?

With Axl losing his voice, if they leave then he's not selling out stadiums or maybe even arena's.

It's not actually going to happen though. Because they probably won't release songs at all and definitely not with someone else on lead guitar.

Well that’s the thing. Guns N Roses existed. Then they broke up and Axl rebuilt. Then they reunited. If anything happens now they will be back into theaters and arenas at best.

I'd laugh my cock off if its something else like State of grace ...the meltdown here lol

I’d laugh mine off if they used a sample of a song for one of their promo videos and never released the song in full. That would be the greatest thing ever.

Just like the Boston promo which had The Blues, Chinese Democracy, and Madagascar studio clips. Never to be released until 6 years later lol

Track 2 always interested me on this. Why burn the warmup to CD in the first place? The riff Robin plays is then copied on bass by Tommy, seems like maybe an idea they had already been knocking around if Tommy knew the riff too already as well. Wonder if it ever became anything

It’s like someone mentioned in the past. There was hundreds of CDs. With instrumentals and ideas even few second riffs. So I’m not surprised everything was cataloged

We actually think that The General will be their new opener?

I don’t know how many other people think it but I could definitely see it. Have the old intro play over the intro video and then go straight into the song. But I’m basing off what I would do if I were to attempt a new music comeback. This is GNR land after all. So anythings possible and everything’s impossible.

Most likely a band jam or something. I think there was a jam at the Argentina's concert or Porto Alegre, that someone said it was The General or another new song, can't remember. Oklahoma I think.

Wasn’t that the one that was compared to the After Party recording and linked to possibly being The General though?

Mayhue is clearly confused as he also stated there was a lot left over from the Appetite sessions. As far as his comments about new music being worked on, it's probably nothing more than he's heard what Slash has said in interviews. There is no evidence of any album being worked on. None.

Part of me believes he mixed up Appetite and Chinese
