  1. I have visions of Wasted being this guy who spends all his time smoking weed with Chinese Democracy on repeat, saying ''far out dude, that is like (insert, absolutely anything, in accordance with the brand of marijuana)''.

CD is a fucking good album with weed :headbang: (tested)

UYI was even better with weed, AFD and Lies are so-so (still great, but mostly the same). TSI, is cool also

  2. This is too good, man
Arrangements: Metal, hard rock even some bluesier chords, double bass drums, harsh tone, KILLER solos (the best i've heard since Anastasia from Slash probably the most "technical" from all of the tracks here)
Only one bad thing: MYLES Let's face it: the guy lack some serious talent what needs for songwriting. He sings good, but his ideas speak for itself on this record... and screaming: GENERIC (although on some moments he really capable to pull out great notes)
Slash still 'got it" imo, but with Myles he is restricted
I'm still waitin for tdownload the full album, i dunno maybe i just wait for the official release till it comes to hear this album in full
  3. Another song out. Let's Go. It kinda reminds me of Halestorm. Not really a bad thing, but then again, Halestorm's lyrics are kinda corny, at times, though the music is relatively decent which is probably the case here. I can tolerate it though I can really tolerate a lot of modern hard rock.

and people say Slash is a generic guitar player....

Slash and the Conspirators is Jimi Hendrix compared to this shite band

  4. '92 for me.

It's not an objective choice as the '92 show was part of my youth in a way that '88 Ritz was not.

I remember staying over at my friend's place in 1992 because his parents were cool enough to let us buy the pay-per-view special. That show was everything I loved about GNR at the time and only hardened my adoration for the band. I watched the entire show in awe, thinking that the guys on stage were from this planet; that they truly were rock gods. Some people dislike the grandioseness of it all, but for me, I loved it all.

I still recall fond memories of Axl introducing Jungle ("Paris France, and the rest of the world watching") and kind of hoping he'd introduce Jungle in a similar fashion when I saw the band perform in Paris in 2006. Obviously, that didn't happen.

The '88 Ritz performance is great for what it is - raw, real, stripped down - but I don't connect to it like I do with the '92 Paris concert. It wasn't until '95 or '96 that I actually had a chance to watch it (a buddy was able to get a bootleg copy). Damn kids today, with their internet! Back in the day, you had to know a guy to see stuff like the '88 Ritz concert.

Ten years ago (yes 2004-05) i still contacted a friend of mine for GNR bootlegs. I still own a spanish copy of the UYI Tokyo dvd's. Seems to me that it was stolen from a spanish store or shit like this and sell to us from the backyard of a van, lol (yes i don't use ebay and shit like that back in the day)

  5. GNR means most songs written and performed by, at least, Axl, Slash and Izzy. That's why CD, other than on paper, isn't a GNR album.

    What about Duff?

I guess I just don't feel like he's absolutely integral. I'm talking bare minimum for me to pick up an album and say, "Yeah, I suppose this is GNR." I mean, losing the ISE bass line and the PC bass line and the YCBM baseline.......... well, fuck, maybe he's more important than I was thinking. I don't know. I'm trying to imagine what I'd think if Axl, Slash and Izzy put out an album with a random bassist and drummer. You know what, I probably wouldn't feel like it was really GNR. It'd feel more like a GNR side project to me.

Duff wrote the YCBM drum intro :headbang:

Other than this i agree with your post

and i feel this thread is kinda pointless

  6. What does Slash think he is doing? I mean Guns N' Roses in 1987 were not even this cheesy. Even Back Off Bitch was not this cheesy. He walks off at the end of the video with that gothic girl with small breasts and you are simply left wondering, what the hell is this shit? It is Dokkon or Faster Pussycat standards of dairy, that is what it is.

    Myles

he is a cheesy singer and songwriter

    That's all

he is technically good, but not even a great frontman

Slash has always trouble with singers, he likes Myles cause he is is easy to work with

I really don't understand that poeple here have great expectations when most of the songs lyrics written by Myles Keneddy :shrugs: Slash guitar work matters for me. I can tolerate Myles on a live setting, thoughŰ

btw Dokkon is not existent, Dokken is that bands name

  7. But I will say this. With this ad system you might force enough current members into donating to cover the costs. But you'll also stop any possible community growth. New people will not donate because they don't know what they're donating for. They'll also be so annoyed by all the ads popping up and what not that they'll leave. So there will be less new people and once the people that are sticking around feel the place is getting stale they might leave too. Which would even make the place shrink. Take that for what it is. It's just my opinion and in the end I don't make any calls here.

I haven't seen an ad since 8 years....

Adblock is a great tool my friend

  8. So Bumblefoot's Bee Hive will come out, and then a year later Axl will call him up and say, "I think I might be able to work on that song Argentinian Tango".

I doubt that Axl even heard his bandmates other projects (except maybe Pitman)

Every chance was given for Axl to make something of new GNR, what more could he possibly need or want in terms of personnel, resources and huge gigs... except inspiration of course.

    breath and voice

    (and ditch TB :shrugs: )

  9. But bacardi's comments make me wonder what the actual fuck does he do on here other than bashing the band that make those 80's-90's songs that made Axl and the others famous and he constantly bash the living shit out of them....

What did the Ritz influence? We're not talking about fucking Woodstock here.

Few hundred musicians to learn music, founding bands, playing live shows.....

I just hope that you're gonna give up the hipster posting style (aka look at me i have a different opinion than everybody else)
