So ... why did he say "the new album" and not "my new album"? -.-
ARE YOU PLAYING GAMES WITH US, RON?
are you dealing with reading problems?
He is only talk about his new album
On topic: yes, he is out. i'm 100% sure if he doesn't perform with GNR in november then that's it for him

The Walking Shit
-
How many skin can be pulled off from one fox really?
I like The Wall but c'mon... -
So you probably don't watch South Park bro
Also she fucked up the Beatles (a thing that i don't really care but a lot of people care) -
I saw the band with one of Brain's last shows with the band and he plays cool, but he can't even play the YCBM intro for example. I'm not deaf just listened a lot of bootlegs
Why?IMO Ferrer is the worst drummer in GnR.
He plays with more groove than Matt plus he plays better than Brain on a live GNR show
I don't really get the hate and ignorance that Frank got on these boards....
I don't get this Brain hype, though. He is great on studio, but on a live GNR show he is sloppy as fuck and barely plays the old materialI used to think Frank was bad too but I started paying more attention to him over the last year and think he's great now tbh. Agreed that after Brain he's the best so far.
lol. U deaf? maybe he put his own spin on some old Guns songs sometimes, and it didn't exactly work out, but mostly, Brain played the shit out of everything live when he was still in the band. Frank can only dream about how good it must feel like to be able to play drums like Brain can.
I prefer Frank over Brain any day on a LIVE setting. On the studio Brain is a beast i'm not denying that, hell i even like his overall drum sound but not his playing
Frank really has a good groove live and has added new stuff to a lot of the songs, making them sound fresh. To me, Brain just sort of played everything live the same speed and added nothing.
I have no idea how Frank will sound on record but I think I'd prefer him to Brain and his supposed technical superiority.
Brain's technical superiority over Frank is a fact.
Yup
But in GNR its not a moot point, lol
The most technical GNR songs drum wise is the Mr. Brownstone intro and You Could Be Mine intro (Duff wrote that part, lol)

Just weird that after the second chorus, it suddenly goes to the end. Still a great song though.
I prefer the live version with Axl on vocals
The studio version not doing any justice for DTJ
Also the acoustic parts are cool
You're not listening to it correctly. Here's the other half of the song:
Yeah, i noticed first on the Tokyo video
Also don't forget about the PC riff, came from
-
which is the only good part of that song lyrically. Other parts are a cheesefest
Axl wrote from "I've been walking the streets at night.." to the endwhich songs did he write the lyrics to?
Strictly by Stradlin? Think About You, Patience, You Ain't the First, Double Talkin' Jive, and this one, Pretty Tied Up.

The video doesn't really fit with the song at all

At this point, i'm not sure. A full reunion with Slash never happen, imoAs a die-hard GnR fan since 87, it's with disullusionment I see what is happening. It's been a sad state of affairs since 2011, with a couple of exeptions - old songs played again.
As I am always hoping for something great to happen, what is more likely: Reunion or new music? Or....same old touring for a few more years before retirement...?
We got a bigger chance for a new record, than Slash ever play with Axl again

Entire sequence that starts at 2:13 is a favorite of mine, but the best quote
"If you think you're a bigger asshole than me then you've got somethin to learn ....KING. DICK." @2:49

This thread is gold

This is gonna be a good show. The acid house music in this 1900 environments is so surreal, adds some extra value for this show...
-
Probably some drum programming, tweak some drum parts.

Steven's mother by all accounts just seems like an awful human being. Imagine your son is struggling with addiction and you're concern is a book deal to make money off of your sons issues. Just terrible.
Imagine your son become a drug addict, a former of his old self...
What would you do? make some money (maybe for his treatments....)
I'm not saying i would buy this book or support her decisions regarding this thing, but c'mon...

Slash is barely inspired when he plays in his own band, what could he possibly contribute to someone else's album?
Slash has contributed to countless albums and collaborated with many respected musicians. What makes you think he won't be able to come up with something cool for Ace's new album? I mean, Ace certainly seems to think he could.
As a musician, you get a different kind of inspiration when it's not your album, and you work under a vision that is not your own.
He is just an Axl Rose fan
Most of Axl fans doesn't like GNR at all only Axl in GNR
-
if this is not a reunion, they are a bunch of fuckers. If that is the official site and ruled by one of the band members.....i mean, its obiusly Gnr,and Axl Rose name is there...
Maybe King of Chaos touring with Guns N Roses?
That would be...
highly unlikely

Snakepit:
Serial Killer, Jizz Da Pit, Neither Can I
VR:
Slither, Loving The Alien, Come On Come In
Solo:
Anastasia, Crucify The Dead, Sahara
Guest:
Always On The Run, Fix, Le Freak
Come On, Come In was interesting. I would have liked them to explore that direction. It had a cool vibe, and Scott's melodies really fit the music.
Izzy wrote that song

Voting something other than GNR? Why would one do that?
Maybe because other people heard other good bands? Bands that actually releasing music and has got kick ass live shows?
-
well, TBH i'm not a big fan of "World On Fire" artwork so I guess the Best Buy one is a little bit better but still not amazing
agreed
i think the original is the worst album artwork in this decade, this one is decent but still lame

volcano probably doesn't want Slash on his album
