What former member of New GnR hurt the band the most in terms of progress, public perception, and overall sound, and what current member would hurt the band the most if they left.
1st: voted Robin Finck, because we got DJ Ashba... plus Axl really likes Robin. Bucket is a close call, but i don't think Buckethead even wants to be in GNR forever in the first place
2nd: BBF his departure will probably cemented the nostalgia label on Axl and GNR for the rest of his life
On a sidenote: i really like 4tus so if he leaves, then i will stop following this band with a replacement of a replacement of a replacements etc...

I'm not really the guy to talk openly about my personal life. But there's something that's bothering me and I don't know how to deal with it.
My girlfriend is at a festival in Hungary. And she texted me that she kissed someone last night.
To be honest I'm glad she texted me and told me the truth, but I really don't know how to respond to this.
I mean. If it happens once, who says it won't happen again? My ex did the same thing, and is now together with the guy.
So I'm kinda freaking out, which is ridiculous because it's pretty childish. But what should I do? We've been together for almost 2 years now.
Anyway, sorry for taking this to the forum. But I REALLY could use some advice.
Yes, Sziget festival (and most of the festivals) is the typical environment for things like these, but if your releationship is strong then you and your girlfriend will stay together
2 years seems pretty strong to me and your gf even texted you the truth so she will probably have some remorse
Try to focus on her honesty instead of being jealous

agreed, but it depends on the MEASURE (or type) of the cheating. Is he/she kissing with somebody when he/she was drunk? not a big deal esp. on a festival, imo

Live and let die was probably from a live feed at another award show.

I don't know, but Gilby recently interviewed in my country where he plays a free gig on a small festival and he said something similar, but at that time, he doesn't say anything classic GNR future related

The 30th anniversary of the band name is coming....

i know that some people want to hear it but if it was good it would already have been released.

Dave Navarro would be the perfect DJ Ashba clone, except that Dave can play guitar properly and can shred if he want to
Fortus takes over lead and Axl becomes rhythm guitarist a la Jagger when he gets his strat out for 'Miss You' and pulls some shapes.
Man I would love too see Axl play guitar even if it was say half the show? I mean every year he moves around less and less so why not pick up a guitar, seems like the least bloated thing to do..
On a serious note i don't mind if he can bust out a guitar and starts playing some chords. Would be cool, he hasn't done this since 2001

Just a theory: Axl brigns back Paul Tobias and get 4tus or DJ share the leads... I don't think Izzy want to join full time, neither Duff. Slash is impossibble at this point with this line up. A very very small chance to Robin Finck. Buckethead is almost as impossible as Slash.
But if BBF leaves, then Axl would hire a new guy and the show continues (in this case there won't be another album in Axl's lifetime, imo)
