As far as FTP, all I've ever heard is the story where Axl says that Slash ordered him to perform the songs exactly as they were written or nothing. Do I know for a fact that didn't happen? He is specifically denying the allegation that he and Axl spoke to each other. He only refers to the part about going to his house in reference to the allegation that he and Axl spoke.

I didn't say he spoke to Axl, I said he lied about going to Axl's house, and then changing his story and explaining why he did go and tried to talk to Axl about a lawsuit that he thought they could work out face to face.

Still a few years yet before a phone produces anything of the quality that a professional camera will, there is a limit to how much digital zoom can do - it's all about optical.

Plus, expensive glass lens in a pocket device? Not likely, especially when you consider that most pro-am lenses weigh 750g - 1kg.

Speaking of APC, Billy Howerdell also worked on Chinese Democracy, if I'm not wrong. Their debut album, Mer de Noms, is just sublime. It's funny how I became a Maynard fan because of APC, not Tool. I remember years ago when a month before the VMA's we would already have topics up about GNR making a surprise appearance and kicking off round 2 with new music.

Now, just 48 hours before the event we have all accepted seemingly that new music is never coming and GNR is now irrelevant.

How did Axl let this happen as I suspect no one after the VMA's in 2002 could ever have predicted this is where the new band would end up.
