  1. Pretty sure it was before. It was on the soundtrack to end of days which was about y2k.
  2. I’m curious your thoughts on their most successful single. As far as I know CD had 3 singles, and then SOYL, Absurd, Hardskool, and Perhaps. Perhaps has 4.5 million views on YouTube, but it’s also the only one with a real music video. CD was over a decade in the making and I feel like it was fairly popular on rock radio when it was released. I personally like Better the most, but I’ve never heard it on the radio. I think it’s the only one I haven’t heard.
  3. 06’ at the Hammerstein ballroom was epic! There was a sense that CD was coming and could really make an impact. Axl turned into the modern rock god! Had such a cool stylish look and was in great shape, and great energetic performances. Also, showing up to Eddie Trunk’s radio show with Baz was pretty awesome!
  4. Yes, just get there early. That’s where the ebayers usually get them. I went at 1 PM in Pittsburgh and they were already gone Some venues will allow you to take a poster tube in with you. Just depends on the venue. Mine got pretty bent up at the show thanks to someone falling on my chair.
  5. Well I mean he did score 4 touchdowns in one game That would’ve been badass!
  6. She onto something here VOTE AXL 2024 make America rock again! I’ve been voting for Axl as a write in for years lol
  7. Hopefully Axl doesn’t have a situation like Steven Tyler, where he has to rest for a month! I saw Aerosmith last week and was impressed with his voice, but apparently it came at a cost.
  8. Yes they played the Brooklyn bowl in 2013, but not out of necessity, it was just a fun warmup gig while they were in town to headline the governor’s ball. They never had to play bowling alleys
  9. He also told a story about Izzy 2/23/12 on silver spring MD. It was during the breakdown of KOHD, he said sometime about Izzy and a fight at Hammerjacks club in Baltimore.
  10. There’s always a standing room pit at every American show, just not the whole floor like some other places Looks like this litho has nothing to do with bees this time. It’s a really disappointing design
  11. Yeah any 02’ pro shot would be amazing! First time I saw guns live was with this lineup. I had low expectations after seeing the VMA’s, but I was blown away by the energy Axl had! LALD was the best it’s ever been during that tour. His scream just kept going! I saw them in Pittsburgh and the next day bought tickets to the DC show. Unfortunately, it never happened, as the promoter pulled the plug after the Philly riot
  12. Obviously I do, hence why I started the tread lol. I know it’s not everyone’s jam, but it was cool to see after so many years of Axl MIA.
  13. As far as I know it was just a short clip. I’m pretty sure there was a crowd sourced fund to buy it, but I think it way higher than $500
  14. I removed a few years ago someone claimed to have full video of the 02’ vma rehearsal. There was about 1 minute teaser clip that showed Axl on a red jersey and bucket with a strange mask, no bucket. The guy wanted a fortune for it. Since the reunion, I don’t think as many care. I’d still love to see if. Any have any info?
  15. Yeah it’s definitely similar to the 21’ Hershey. Looks like it might be black light reactive, I’ll have to dig mine out of the closet and try it. mas far as the NA lithos, I was at the main merch stand in Hershey and didn’t see them. I guess they were gone when I got there. I was able to get one in Pittsburgh, but it’s numbered 300 something. So I wonder how many there actually are? If it’s 1000 for the whole tour, it would only be like 30 some per show. But I highly doubt they are moving 1000 of these at each show. Definitely cool. I imagine something they will continue to do. So instead of just spending $50 on a shirt, it’s not also $100 for the 2 lithos. I’m such a sucker!
  16. Wasn’t the general consensus years ago that the general was the intro song they played on the 06’ tour, the long doomy sounding instrumental that led into WTTJ? Or am I remembering something else. So much speculation with these guys, it’s hard to keep it straight
  17. Has there been any that were random? There’s plenty that I don’t know, but I thought they were all tied to city somehow?
  18. For sure they could, but probably won’t. Star lake is only a little over 7k reserved seats and then the lawn. If they are selling 25k reserved seats, or close to it, there’s no incentive to downsize. Again, maybe it wasn’t 25k in attendance, but I was in the pit and turned around and it looked full minus the upper deck. Also, the lines were forever at the bathrooms and merch/concessions. This place is equipped to handle 35k so you’d think it wouldn’t have been as long.
  19. It holds around 35k, so I’m guessing it was probably around 25k or so. I’d say the lower bowl and floor was 90-95% sold.
  20. Can anyone explain what this litho represents? I’m pretty familiar with Pittsburgh, and have no idea. I asked some locals and they didn’t know either. One theory, although kinda weak, is that it’s a church that was converted to a head shop. Someone said there are some old churches that have been converted to bars in the area, but I don’t know. It does look kinda trippy. But I really don’t know.
  21. I figured GNR would be humbled by the poor ticket sales at this show, but once they hit the stage, I was shocked at how full the stadium was. They closed off the upper deck, but the lower bowl and field was packed. So my hope of seeing them at star lake pavilion (smaller venue in pittsburgh), probably won’t happen anytime soon.
  22. Yeah slash pulls off stuff like that a lot
  23. Gotta say, awesome show! I think better than Hershey last week! I’ve had amazing luck with GNR lately, getting to see the debut of hardskool in Baltimore a few years ago and then perhaps tonight. Only negative for me was that they started a bit later and didn’t have time for a few. Still haven’t seen pretty tied up, but there’s always next time.
