I think it's pretty weird Rick is still a fan of this band and going to their concerts when he feels they have treated him so poorly.  Maybe he thinks it's an act against some injustice but I find it creepy.

Have you ever been in a bad marriage/relationship?

They're not bothered anymore, as it seems.

Axl may or may not be on meds, but why would falling down have to do with that? He slips and falls (statistically) about two or three times on each tour. Slash has fallen twice on this tour, too. They're on stage, they move a lot, and they have gotten older. It can happen.

Not the falling down. The way he “recovered.”
There’s been a huge change from 2016 onward in his “mood” and mannerisms. I’m no expert but I’m saying it’s plausible he’s taking some happy pills in order to keep his psyche in check to continue this feel good money making tour with Slash. I also feel whatever he may or may not be taking is affecting his singing ability as well.
    Just my two cents.

Think of any band. The drummer's almost always first to go, always the easiest to replace, very few stand out as 'stars' and none of the five drummers GN'R's had have been 'stars'.

Outside of this forum, nobody gives a damn who's playing drums, and that's why they've been able to go through so many with so little consequence.

Led Zeppelin aside, most bands carry on as-is when they replace a drummer. The same can't be said for a guitarist or singer.

Some big bands who's drummer was well regarded or a key part of their sound: The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Kiss, The Who – all still going with replacement drummers and it hasn't harmed their sales. Even AC/DC did alright without Phil Rudd more than once.

Frank's clearly not bad, he's in Guns N' Roses, but he's just as interchangeable as every single person who's sat in that seat before him – if they weren't they'd still be there.

In the grand scheme of things, who plays the drums has never been a crucial element of this band, I think you're placing way too much importance on it. Every release has had a different player, even now they're able to pick and choose just to get the thing over the line. The position isn't important anymore. Slash and Axl are the deal-breakers for Guns N' Roses, not one of many no-name drummers that nobody outside of these four walls has heard of

I respectfully disagree with both of your responses to my posts.

Yeah but that's not really a good reflection on his ability, someone has to be. Worst in an immensely talented cast doesn't for a second make him bad.

Get rid of Frank and then who's the worst musically? Dizzy? Brain? Richard? Melissa? Duff? All crazy talented, but one would supposedly be the 'worst' 🤷‍♂️

    See my previous post.

A drummer is the heartbeat of every single band.

Frank isn’t “talented” he’s average. And again, not a knock to him at all. You can’t tell me you’ve left any live gig with him playing going “damn the drummer is awesome.” All previous GnR drummers were immensely talented and added to the feel, live experience and recording process.
Brain was their all around best drummer. But from  a kick your face in perspective, that spot goes to Matt.

Just a reminder not to post (or request) any links for the song.

I'm sure it will be available at some point soon via streaming sites and YouTube.

But please make sure it's from an official source.  YouTube sites that were created in the last couple of days are not going to be official.

    Thanks!

Yep. Most of the new uploads are the demo version that people are trying to pass off as the official release.
