  1. My mate just sent me a pic and he is almost front of stage. What I would give to be there right now. The stream is going to be a great way to watch them though in the comfort of my asylum
  2. Only page 32 already and the show don't even start for another 45 mins. Will we be on 100 pages come the end of the show? I feel like I'm that 17 year old me again waiting at Wembley back in 91 for my heroes to take the stage for my 1st show. Once they hit the stage I ain't moving from my spot even if I have to piss myself I ain't missing a single second 🤣🤣🤣
  3. Are we going to see an Axl/DC level of performance where he just blows it outta the water and vindicates himself of all the steriotype bullshit that the mainstream press have continued to use over the last however many years. I am seriously rooting that they deliver the best set of the reunion tonight 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
  4. Funnily enough I've just been having the same conversation with my wife about them opening with ISE. Not sure how that would go down with all the snowflakes there. Turn around non binary person I've got a use for you 😂 They might even open with down on the farm, it's got the energy in it. Or could we get the old opener perfect crime?
  5. I think you're right there for the UK, can't think of any other events since that day. Axl and Elton was a real highlight of that day. There was a real connection between them and it is well known that Axl regards Elton and Bernie the greatest writing due of all time. Loved Axls speech when he inducted EJ into the RNRHOF. Remember the Eddie trunk interview where Axl talked about him meeting EJ before the tribute. Axl described having a meeting with EJ talking about the song and EJ was getting more angry as Axl had been made out to look homophobic etc and he shouted "I am a gay man" Axl just replied "cool so when we get to the bridge" Am really excited for what we might get tomorrow now. Lana is playing an hour after Guns take the stage so could drop by the pyramid stage to duet?
  6. I caught the clip of Mac at the end too. That would be a cool duet on LALD. Great to see them giving support to DG
  7. I think Slash is pleased that Meegan had arrived in Olso. She posted a shot on Insta of roses that Slash sent and a note that he'd been missing her
  8. Pyramid stage streaming now, Maise Peters my son was in her class at school from reception years onwards.
  9. Really looking forward to watching whatever they show on the BBC tomorrow night. My mate is at Glasto and will record what he can from the set for me. He missed the Tottenham show last year due to coming down with covid the day before and I felt bad for him missing out. At least he gets to see them this year. I have tried so many years to get tickets but never succeeded. See who we get to join. The set time shows as 21:30 - 23:45 sure they'll play on longer than that!
  10. All looking very positive for the future. Axl has rediscovered that spark that seemed to have gone a little bit. Just under 2 weeks to London 😁
  11. Looks like we're in for a great evenings entertainment. Hopefully Axl can maintain this level as the tour progreses. Can't wait to see live again.
  12. The good thing that happened with AC/DC was when Axl stepped in for the ROB tour. They mixed the setlist up a bit and brought back some of the Bon era songs that hadn't been played live for years. I truly think that was Axl's influence bringing fresh energy into the band. Usual AC/DC is the same setlist every night for the entire tour. I am grateful we get 3 hour sets with Guns with a few twists as the tour moves along. Long may it continue.
  13. Don't knock em unless seen live. My wife is mad about them and took her to see them at Wembley last year as part of her birthday treats. I was the same mindset. A really great experience. Am seeing them in Cardiff on Wednesday night too. At least have GNR at Hyde Park to balance things out 😂😂😂
  14. I am in and out at the moment. Am in Liverpool for a couple of days after seeing Coldplay last night in Manchester.
  15. What a setlist! They have put a great marker down for the rest of the tour. Chuffed to bits that they've brought some of the oldies back again. Hope Bad Obsession stay in. Loved seeing that back in 91 and 92. Where was Zig Zig though! Long may this continue 🤘🤘🤘
  16. Anything last played 1st August 1988. Absolutely loving this set list and so excited seeing them at the end of the month
  17. I remember a documentary that was on BBC2 back in the 90's. It was supporting the release of Robert John's book. A photographic history. They filmed a fair bit backstage at Milton Keynes in 93 and footage from Barcelona and I think TelAviv. Some really cool interviews including Axl. It was about an hour long. Worth looking for and watching if you've not seen it. Hope he makes a good recovery. Even though things went south with the band.
  18. The front was a great mosh pit. I think they had laid a load of straw down as well so it wasn't as bad. Soaking wet and covered in mud. I smelt great the next morning 😂 I missed my train home and spent the night sleeping on the floor in MK train station. Managed to get back to Brighton the next morning without a valid ticket, those were the days when you could freely walk through stations without the damned ticket barriers there are now.
  19. Not seen as many as I would have liked. Only saw in the UK 91-93. During the 2000's I was too busy with work and family to get to the shows I was going to the o2 in 2012 but couldn't get out of work to go. Got to see Axl with AC-DC in London back in 2016 and then seen Guns London 2017 Donnington 2018 London last year and seeing them at Hyde Park in June. They're still my favourite band after 34 odd years.
  20. They didn't play the 9th June. Axl had to take some rest days after the Paris show on the 6th as he was suffering from exhaustion. I saw them at Wembley on the 13th when Brian May came on for 2 songs, we will rock you and tie your mother down. They played Maine Road the next day on the 14th slightly shorter set.
  21. MK 93 was also a great show. Loved the acoustic set and also having Izzy back with them. I only had tickets for the Saturday. Did it rain ☔☔☔☔
