  1. Let's rewind the clock back to 1991 for a minute. Have seen mentions in the last week that Sebastian Bach has said he'd love to reunite with Skid Row for the fans with the news that Erik Gronwall has stepped down due to his health. They've got Lzzy Hale for some shows short term. I know there is some barriers to be broken down for this to happen with all that has happened. However the thought of having a Skid Row opening for Guns would be a great sell. Seb could come out for My Michelle during their set. Sure Axl would enjoy having Seb around. Saw them at Wembley in 91 where they done a sterling job warming up the crowd before Guns. MC no thanks, has no appeal whatsoever for me.
  2. All the same ones as me plus Download 18 and Hyde Park 23. Tottenham was a tough one due to the sound issues and Axl being pretty sick. AXL/DC in London 16 was off the scale great!
  3. KOHD Marquee 87 Rosie Marquee 87 DTJ RIR 91 RQ Indiana 91 NR Wembley 92 with alright intro Dead Horse MK 93 Think About You HOB 01 My Michele Vegas 16 with Baz
  4. Saw Axl/DC in London and one of the best shows I've ever been to. There were some hardcore AC/DC fans near me at the front who were not overly impressed about Axl fronting the band before the show started. However a couple of songs in they were on board with the performance saying how great he sounded. Made me feel proud. Axl certainly seemed to enjoy his time and having the chance to perform different material, especially the Bon era tracks. Would love to see it again and do wonder how he would sound 8 years on.
  5. March 1989. Was a 15 year old working for a neighbours building company during the Easter holidays in the UK. I was being driven around in a van picking up building supplies and dropping supplies around to the sites where people were working. Paradise City was in the charts and being played on radio 1 on heavy rotation. Each listen drew me in more and more. Shortly after I went and bought AFD banned cover on vinyl, that first play was enough to hook me completely, next day I went out and bought Lies and so the obsession began. Went into Brighton around 2-3 times a week going around all the record stores buying anything I didn't have over the coming months and various record fayres. Happy memories
  6. I know this is a biased view but Wembley 91 was my first and best gig that I've seen them play, also being Izzys' last show as a member which made it more poignant. I think Duff mentioned it in his book that it was tight and felt more like one of their early club gigs. I also think the Marquee shows back in 87 were pretty decent. Would love to see video of these shows. The audio is pretty special and was also the first performances of KOHD and Whole Lotta Rosie
  7. This world is a sad state of affairs if that's what she is sueing for. You know when you go to a concert that there are loads of hazards namely tens of thousands of other people who are potential weapons. Back in the day you would get loaded and then stake your place and stick there. These days too many casuals in the gold circle and other parts of the stadium who spend 70% of the concert traipsing backwards and forward getting more alcohol to the point they ain't got a clue what is going on and then starting trouble. I know the band make revenue from this so would not stop. That for me if far more dangerous than a microphone getting tossed at the end of the show. FFS
  8. I doubt they'd play back to back shows anymore. If it is Axl that is sick and problems with his throat he will need to take the rest of the tour a bit easier. I was at the Tottenham show last year and how that went down. I don't think they would risk having to potentially go through that situation again. Just hope it's nothing too serious and that all will be good.
  9. My eyes played a trick with me there and thought you'd put Perfect Crime 🤣
  10. Probably 1992 when they last played there. When they played Wembley in 91 that set the record for selling Wembley out in the fastest time. Not sure if that still stands though. I can remember waiting outside Brighton Center at 8m on the Sunday they went on sale waiting to get my hands on my ticket. The glory days of when a concert ticket was sexy. Not just a QR code on your phone.
  11. Not a chance unfortunately. Maybe next year and even that would be a longshot
  12. Anything going on at all? The silence is deafening
  13. He fucking beasted that. Love they're still playing it
  14. I really enjoyed the Darkness set and Justin's interactions with Ethan was funny as fuck. Laughed so hard at that. The fucking Christmas song also 🤣 the only thing he said about the tour end of year. There are currently no dates for the UK!
  15. Show was fucking awesome. Great Coma!! Had fuck all signal throughout
  16. Am sure breakdown was performed in 91 but no audio available. I might be wrong.
  17. Spoke to lady on merch stand and she said people had queued overnight to get the lithos and all went 1st thing. Wankers
  18. With you on that one. That is one on my bucket list that I'd love to see live. Just getting ready to try and get tickets for the Foo's next year then I'm heading off.
  19. My mate had brought tickets for us to go to this but I couldn't get out of work. We thought Duff might be there and that was the only reason we had tickets. Oh well
  20. Hoping we get something special on Friday after the issues that we had last year at Tottenham stadium. Take my hat off to Axl for still doing those shows last year when he clearly wasn't well at the time. Was sad to see him struggling so badly. The band generally enjoy playing London as that was where some real magic happened back in 87. At least the transport links are better from Hyde Park than other parts of London.
  21. If they do play it. Would it be before or after NR is played? that's assuming that Axl is playing piano on it live.
  22. I'm still buzzing after watching that set last night. I seriously hope that Axl has seen the positive responses from last night across the various platforms as he wakes up today and that it brings a smile to his face. He certainly seemed to enjoy it last night and looked so happy to be there. That was a killer show. So proud to be a fan these 34 years or so. Would love to see him with EJ tonight but that is a very long shot. The positivity on this thread is great and very refreshing. Long may this continue 😊
  23. Fucking loved watching that set. Sound was a bit hit and miss in places but our boys and lady done a cracking job. A lot of praise for Slash with someone calling it Slashtonbury 😂 Roll on Hyde Park now. Oh and for those that get to see them at Glasgow
  24. Enjoy the show guys. I am going to be locked to my screen for the next 3 hours and look forward to seeing the page count later on. Fingers crossed to an epic set for the band. Love you all ❤️
