I understand going after bootleg stuff. That's just wrong. But screwing over artists who have been making them awesome posters is bad business.
I am really sorry man. I have a number of your posters from shows I attended and really value your work now and for many years to come. That’s disappointing to hear what happened and is another strike against Gn’R and further erosion of my support for the band
I haven’t had much of an opinion on how GnR is managed or it’s management team, but they really are negligent. No enterprise with this much economic might should be managed by someone so inexperienced, callous, and unprofessional. Hopefully they make it right. If not, hope you and other artists box out Gn’R from your services

You're not actually interested in a discussion unless you think discussing means dissecting tiny fragments of my posts and forcing me to explain the same thing over and over again from this pseudo moral high ground you've positioned yourself in. Basically you're just nitpicking through my posts, looking for anything to latch on without really providing any counter argument.
Yes, the testing methods are unreliable, as evidenced by the false positives and confirmed by the inventor of PCR tests himself.
Yes, testing asymptomatic people is problematic due to unreliability, resulting in needles quarantines and the aforementioned stigma. Also the procedure is invasive. But less problematic from a manipulation standoint, I give you that. Although the sheer number of test being carried out can work really well as an intimidating factor.
Yes, most of the respiratory diseases fall under the umbrealla term covid-19. I can't prove than. Can you prove that majority of deaths in Norway are checked for covid-19 or that the doctor's procedure is in fact what you claim to be? Funny you use the word majority.
Yes, the flu virtually disappeared. Because everything is covid-19 these days.
No, I'm not claiming the covid-19 deaths are from flu. I claim the number of deaths are exaggerated with disregard to other medical conditions that greaty contiributed to it or were an underlying cause.
If anything, deaths from covid are understated globally. India alone has 4m+ more deaths than typical but is “only” reporting ~450k covid deaths

What percentage needs to be "fully" vaccinated for covid not to mutate? And how often must they get a booster shot?
Washington Post is now reporting 90%, which above the original expectation of 70%

A rate of new infections this August with ~70% of the population vaccinated being around the same as that of last November, when ~0% of the population was vaccinated suggests this simply is not true.
Dude, delta is multiple times more contagious with viral loads 1000x the original covid infection last year. That’s why infections and hospital rates are so high now. 98% of the people in the hospital and the hundreds dying per day in the US today aren’t vaccinated…
Your comparison flat out doesn’t make any sense.

I've only had one jab so far. Wore a mask for 99% of the time while at Metlife and always in the concessions, bathroom, etc. Pretty sure I got it. Going to get tested tomorrow. :-(
Sorry man. Hope the test come back negative and you can get the second shot ASAP!

What time do the merch stands open? Do they not have any inside the venues?
At Metlife the inside posters were getting sold outside through the gates. That is in addition to the lithos sold outside the venue / gates in the little trailers
I don’t think there is a hard time - think it differs by venue - but find out what time parking is open. Go an hr or two earlier. Hopefully you’re not alone and can have someone stay with the car whole you explore
If you get a poster outside, you have the convenience of safely storing it in your car

The artwork was great! Unfortunately I didn’t get a lithograph. They went instantly and from the looks of eBay this morning mostly to flippers.
I talked to one m’fr who had a poster tube. He had 13 of the 250. He said he goes to all the shows and this is how he pays for it.
it really would be nice if the venues would limit the purchase to 1 to give everyone a chance.
Agreed. I got to the venue at 2p, when parking opened, and someone a lot of people beat me (my buddy and I each snagged the last 2 from a venue employee selling through the closed gates). I saw multiple people carrying 4-6 of them. Just bullshit. It only fucks over fans. Doesn’t help the band. Not sure why it’s structured this way

The shirts at Metlife were pretty lame relative to the ideas they had in 2016-2018. That said, quality feels a bit different (better) from the 2016-2019 tour. Maybe just me.
Definitely over priced

I am really enjoying Mammoth. Usually don’t love openers, especially when I don’t know the music. Really talented. Pleasantly surprised.
I am in the Pit and it’s still pretty empty here.

Live update. Opener just started.
Stadium is still filling. The poster sold out quickly. All of the copies in the outside stations were sold out by 215p. I parked at 2p, when the gates opened. And then a worker behind the gate sold the “inside” posters through the gate to a large group. I heard him say “that’s it” when he sold the last one, which fortunately I snagged

Apologies, didn’t mean to contribute to derailing. Hoping for an excellent, fun, and healthy time at GNR. Hope Axl fucking brings it

Yes actually, people like you quote this stuff like it’s a fact when all you’re doing is regurgitating the stuff you’re being told by people you should know better than to trust.
A little research paints a very different story, and it’s not conspiracies, the fact that any other doctors, scientists or virologists saying very different things to the mainstream doctors and scientists get deplatformed and silenced should alarm you just a little bit. The fact it doesn’t is a worry.
Dont worry though, they’ll be a vaccine passport for you to keep updated shortly, and when they expires and they want you to take another vaccine and another and another to keep it updated you may just start to wake up a little.
If you think that a vaccine is more important than good living, healthy eating and exercise then you need help.
And the fact they never mention anything about healthy living and exercise and taking vitamins etc it’s all about the vaccine tells you a lot to. But crack on, take that shot, and then another………..
It’s not polio or yellow fever or malaria ffs 🤦♂️ it’s a coronavirus, you know, comes under the same umbrella as a cold. Remember colds and the flu!? They used to exist before covid 🤦♂️🤣
I feel sorry for you. Don’t remember a flu that killed 600k in America, millions worldwide, in a year (and only after massive, brutal lockdowns)
Good luck to you. Hope you don’t get sick and, more importantly, don’t get others sick.

If you have the vaccine and get it you almost certainly not going to have any serious symptoms if any at all. Your chances of getting it are miniscule anyway. In the off chance you are vaccinated and still get it and worried about spreding to your loved ones, then your loved ones should get vaccinated. Anyone that doesn't get vaccinated is accepting the risk and it is on them if they get really sick. The vaccine is out there and easily obtainable for everyone that is worried about getting Covid. Everyone should respect eachothers choices on this.. It also isn't a politcal thing. I know plenty of people on both sides that haven't gotten the vaccine and plenty on both sides that have..
Generally respect your opinions (and enjoy reading them) on here and the Aerosmith board, man, but disagreeing here. I am beyond frustrated with the attitude of “you do you” on this vaccination. Anti-vaxers are prolonging this virus and giving it time and possibilities to mutate into something worse (which it has). We would have never beat polio with this type of low-grade thinking. Agree it’s not a political thing. It’s a common sense thing. It can be a selfless thing.
There are people in the hospital because of breakthroughs (folks who are vaccinated but still got it). The folks that are refusing the vaccine put everyone in their orbit at risk. It’s insanely selfish, and puts many others at risk, particularly those who have a weak immune system and who are older. These vaccines aren’t 100% effective and it’s time for people to step the fuck up and do their part

8 hours ago, Paulywauly said:But if youre vaccinated then why are you bothered if anyone else is or not!? You do know that vaccinated so still spread and catch it don’t you 🤦♂️
He’s bothered because the crazy, uneducated anti-vaccination conspiracy theorists are spreading the newer, far more contagious delta variant. Vaccines aren’t as effective against it in terms of preventing infection. They prevent seriously illness from delta, for the most part, but folks don’t want a virus and don’t want to spread it to their loved ones
It’s hard to understand why this needs to be explained

Vaccine is good against Delta, from what I've been told.
He didn't do it completely on his own though. Without the other guys he wouldn't have gotten there.
That's true, I was referring more to after 1993 and into the 2000s. However, he was still causing problems back then too.
Vaccine greatly reduces risk of death and hospitalization from covid. It’s efficacy in preventing infection is not as high. The rates are TBD, but Israel was spooked enough to start third shots and Pfizer is pushing it as well.
Also, lots of folks who were vaccinated are getting it, including prominent politicians (even the UK’s health minister).
If this continues to accelerate, I could see these outdoor shows requiring a vaccine. Candidly I think it’s absurd that they haven’t done this already.

I’m not intending to. I’m fully vaccinated and not within a high risk group.
That said, people who want to mask up should absolutely do it without a second thought. Everyone’s circumstances are different, so if you feel more comfortable in a mask, go for it.
3 hours ago, Draguns said:I was thinking of going to the MetLife show maskless. My childhood friend and I are both fully vaccinated. Now that you brought this up, I may bring my mask with me just in case.
Thanks for the input all. I am going to monitor how things develop over the next couple weeks. COVID is rising in all 50 states, LA reissued its indoor mask mandate starting today, and others will likely follow. There is still so much unknown about COVID, these new mutations, and the efficacy of the vaccine against the delta variant. A lot of conflicting info from reliable sources (e.g., is a 3rd shot necessary?)
If I wear one, which I probably will, I hope I don’t get shit for from some drunk asshole at the show. Have pit tickets to Metlife
-
For folks who are going, are you planning to wear a mask even though it’s not mandated? Initially, I didn’t plan to since I am double vaxxed. However, with the rise in infections driven by the delta variant, even with the vaccinated, I am rethinking it.
I saw Foo Fighters maskless - and it was great - but I don’t want to get this virus.
Israel is pushing forward on a third shot even though CDC says it’s not necessary. I don’t know - curious what others will do

That’s cool they did Don’t Cry. One of my favorites. I’ve seen GNR ~10 times and they’ve never played it at those shows!
