What’s the appetite for gigs like in US?

If they reorganised the tour so it ran August into September at the venues/city’s currently booked in order to 100 % confirm gigs are on would tickets be snapped up?

They definitely would in the UK. The desire for live music is huge here.

Good question. Madison Square Garden the company emailed me (among presumably 1000s of others) a survey on appetite for going to a show and when. I believe this is their market work to determine when the demand will be there

Better for him to tell a story than to actually sing. Yeah. I know, a GNR fan shouldn't talk, but I feel he's even worse nowaday.

I saw him in 2018 and thought it was a good performance. That said, I don’t have an ear for JBJ like I do for Axl.

I suppose it’s a good sign things are moving. That said not sure I’ll be comfortable at a show immediately. Although with pit tickets still available for MetLife, there might be social distancing regardless!

I've been thinking that since Governor Murphy raised attendance to 30% at the end of March for outdoor venues. He has now hinted at further reopenings. Hospitalizations are going down. More people are being vaccinated. My childhood friend and I are  fully vaccinated. I also know that some of my cohorts in the part time MBA program at Montclair State  are also fully vaccinated.

I can definitely see this happening at MetLife Stadium.

Agree. Just got an email for Jon Bon Jovi storytellers in Miami in June. Limited attendance. But interesting that he’s doing that

Well, they played baseball in front of 40,000 people in Texas yesterday, so I could see the NA shows happen.. but I don’t think there is any safe information on this at the moment

Yeah, saw that.  Not sure the country should take Texas’ example as an example of sound public health policy. In other words, seems far too early for that.

As per the postponement E-Mail from GNR, it looks like they are still planning with North American dates:

Light is at the end of the tunnel and we are looking forward to getting back on stage later this year in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and next year in Europe and more!

Other than that. No, you won't find anything credible.

Yes, didn’t consider that GNR statement credible. The show is still on until it’s not.

Hope it’s safe enough to happen!

Sounds like the Democratic party too. Just look at any major city.

The major cities with all of the economic output?   Those ones?  ; )

On topic - if every adult can be vaccinated by end of May, then maybe there is hope for some of these summer dates - at least ones held outdoors.

I kept tickets for GnR and Aerosmith.  Hope to see those shows, but COVID needs to be over first!

  6. Some of the merch is terrible, but I was glad to see some of the 2019 tour merch. I picked up the hoodie at a good price. Who knows what happens with concerts post COVID vaccine, but 2019 was the last great year of concerts before all of our lives were changed by the pandemic

Glad to have another memento from two good shows
