They definitely are touring!

CDC published new guidance stating the vaccinated can go maskless and no social distance, indoor or outdoor.
Honestly, I think this tour is happening. Perhaps you’ll have to prove you’re vaccinated, but I am 100% fine with that. Let’s go!! Get in the Ring mf’er!

Nine Inch Nails just announced 2 shows in Cleveland at an outdoor venue in Sept. Think some of these shows could happen.
Hopeful for Aerosmith in September!

What’s the appetite for gigs like in US?
If they reorganised the tour so it ran August into September at the venues/city’s currently booked in order to 100 % confirm gigs are on would tickets be snapped up?
They definitely would in the UK. The desire for live music is huge here.
Good question. Madison Square Garden the company emailed me (among presumably 1000s of others) a survey on appetite for going to a show and when. I believe this is their market work to determine when the demand will be there

De Blasio, mayor of nyc, said NYC will be “fully open” July 1st. He doesn’t have authority to do that (state govt does), but if true, increases odds for MetLife

Better for him to tell a story than to actually sing. Yeah. I know, a GNR fan shouldn't talk, but I feel he's even worse nowaday.
I saw him in 2018 and thought it was a good performance. That said, I don’t have an ear for JBJ like I do for Axl.
I suppose it’s a good sign things are moving. That said not sure I’ll be comfortable at a show immediately. Although with pit tickets still available for MetLife, there might be social distancing regardless!

I've been thinking that since Governor Murphy raised attendance to 30% at the end of March for outdoor venues. He has now hinted at further reopenings. Hospitalizations are going down. More people are being vaccinated. My childhood friend and I are fully vaccinated. I also know that some of my cohorts in the part time MBA program at Montclair State are also fully vaccinated.
I can definitely see this happening at MetLife Stadium.Agree. Just got an email for Jon Bon Jovi storytellers in Miami in June. Limited attendance. But interesting that he’s doing that

NYC is going to host the Frieze art fair next month and tribeca film festival. I think the odds of the GnR show at MetLife stadium in early August are pretty good
Most people I know now have gotten their first vaccine shot.

That is hilarious. And scary accurate. Love the Duff impersonator.
Hope Axl can get his voice back. He almost needs a Britney Spears-style documentary that outlines what happened to him since 1994

Well, they played baseball in front of 40,000 people in Texas yesterday, so I could see the NA shows happen.. but I don’t think there is any safe information on this at the moment
Yeah, saw that. Not sure the country should take Texas’ example as an example of sound public health policy. In other words, seems far too early for that.

As per the postponement E-Mail from GNR, it looks like they are still planning with North American dates:Light is at the end of the tunnel and we are looking forward to getting back on stage later this year in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and next year in Europe and more!
Other than that. No, you won't find anything credible.
Yes, didn’t consider that GNR statement credible. The show is still on until it’s not.
Hope it’s safe enough to happen!

Have there been any credible rumors about the US shows? I suppose it’s all still an unknown.
If 3-4m people are getting vaccinated per day, I suppose a summer outside show is feasible. Hard to believe even a couple of months ago

Sounds like the Democratic party too. Just look at any major city.
The major cities with all of the economic output? Those ones? ; )
On topic - if every adult can be vaccinated by end of May, then maybe there is hope for some of these summer dates - at least ones held outdoors.
I kept tickets for GnR and Aerosmith. Hope to see those shows, but COVID needs to be over first!

I wish there was a full album with his vocal sound on You’re Crazy and OIAM from Lies.

This pandemic is taking away valuable shelf-life of our aging rock stars. I only like "legacy acts" and they're all starting to sound like shit with age. Fast-forward two years and I'm sure that James Hetfield, Huey Lewis, Joe Elliott, and our beloved Axl will not sound any better than they did in 2019.
I hope you are all well and also hope that each of you American forum members don't end up hating yourself too much as you atone for your "white privilege" in the Joe Biden era.
Agree we are racing against the clock on our rock bands. Your Biden comment is completely off the mark. Yikes! Thank God we have a chance to go back to normal (or something closer to it) and the unqualified buffoons, conspiracy theorists, and dangerous sycophants are banished from the levers of power. The Biden administration’s intention on taking the pandemic seriously, implement a coordinated COVID mitigation plan, invoke defense production act to accelerate vaccine production, mask mandates, etc at least have a chance of ending this dreadful pandemic sooner than the status quo.
“Like a miracle, it will just disappear.” Hasn’t yet

Some of the merch is terrible, but I was glad to see some of the 2019 tour merch. I picked up the hoodie at a good price. Who knows what happens with concerts post COVID vaccine, but 2019 was the last great year of concerts before all of our lives were changed by the pandemic
Glad to have another memento from two good shows

The $12k machine sold out! That’s surprising since I think it said there are 500 machines.
The lithograph machine is actually quite cool. I am not a pinball person and don’t appreciate what folks see in it.

This would have been my ultimate concert. Wish I would have been old enough!
Imagine, in a 4-5 yr period, you could have seen GNR with Aerosmith and Metallica! What a time for rock music

That was great. Just wonderful to hear Axl sounding powerful and to see him giving a shit.
Makes me not (so much) regret keeping my PIT tickets for next year. Hope COVID gets resolved and we can see a kick ass Guns show again!

A+ collection sir. Pretty awesome. Love that Civil War / GITR shirt.
Have checked out the Madeworn Gn’R shirts? They are pretty awesome in quality, although expensive.

Whenever concerts do happen again and they are safe, GNR will be a big draw. I am probably going to keep my tickets

It’s strange they aren’t promoting these shows on the social media platforms, but Bottle Rock is featured regularly
