I am guessing this and other tours are going to be postponed because of the whole Corona thing, definently this tour as they are going to use it as an excuse to not play in front of 30,000 empty seats

Has any one notably canceled in Europe or the US?  I am supposed to see the Strokes next week in LA - they are playing 3 dates in Seattle, Vancouver and LA. Hope they don’t cancel...

I assume GNR wouldn’t cancel anything for a few months

Did you have the ability to buy merch early also?

Yes - you’ll get a shot at getting a litho if that’s what you’re thinking about it. That said, the premium on these early entry tickets is so high I’d rather take my shot of getting it myself post early entry or just buy it on eBay (it will still be cheaper than upgrading to a VIP ticket for an extra $250 or whatever it is)

Does anyone know what is in the patience package as far as the limited edition guns roses VIP gift pack that is mentioned ? Trying to decide if it’s worth the upgrade from a regular priced general admission pit ticket

I got it for Vegas 2019. It was pretty worthless - a bandana and some other crap I would never want.  If you want to get in first to the venue, then this will facilitate it. That said, I would never pay that premium again

Yikes that would be rough missing all those shows. Do you have tickets for Pearl Jam in London?

Yes, NYC MSG and London. You? Planned to make a summer vacation out of the London trip with my gf.  Hope it doesn’t get canceled.

Just a brutal week for stocks and the pace of this health scare. Folks are definitely pricing in a bad scenario

  5. Definitely hope GNR is NOT canceled. A lot of people spent hard earned money on travel arrangements (and tickets), so it would suck to miss it.

I planned to go to London for Pearl Jam in July. Hopefully this crisis is over well before then. If not, we could be looking at a global recession, which will be painful for everyone here!

I have problems with tinnitus, never needed ear plugs at a GNR gig. The only band who really wrecked my ears live was  Motörhead. Each time I saw them my ears would whistle for 2 fucking days afterwards ...

Invest in some good ear plugs. Best decision I made. I enjoy concerts more - I can ear things more clearly and my ears never ring when I walk out.

  7. I’ve been thinking about this tour and purpose after buying Metlife tickets (this will be my 6th show since 2016). It’s sucks to see how negative everyone is, although I get it and agree with you all in principle.

That said, this whole scenario is a fucking shame. Someone said it best earlier - what a waste of talent and opportunity these last 27 years. Not just Axl was impacted - rest of the band didn't get a chance to live up to their potential and we missed out on some awesome music.

I still hope Axl will right this ship and these wrongs. Until then, I am still a fan and am happy to get a chance to see them again - warts and all.

I don't know. They have all these different packages. It's not like the old days where you just bought a damn ticket. I hovered over the pit section and it said $495 plus fees. I will look again.

If you have a Citi card, make sure to enter the first 6 digits before clicking on any tickets.  That will unlock the normal Citi Pit tickets. You’re looking at VIP ticket, I think, which is a waste imo

Nightrain blows. If they offered a Yeti rambler and a good quality sweatshirt, it'd be worth it. But man, the price keeps increasing, it takes forever to get the merch, and it looks shittier every year. I did like the 30th anniversary stuff a couple years back. Listen to Russ, my man. I was saying the same thing, but I almost bought NIghtrain too. I was getting anxious seeing people score tickets two hours before Citi.

Weird. For Wrigley, it's one giant pit.

You’re totally right. Pissed I basically lit $40 on fire. Sigh. Live and learn. I was worried pit tickets would go quick and I knew seats behind the pit would be a fortune (with VIP and platinum). Should have waited - there are still Citi Pit tickets on Ticketmaster

  10. Like a fool, I didn’t listen to Russ and bought the Nightrain membership to get the pre sale 🤦‍♂️  That didn’t work but that was Ticketmaster’s fault.

Waited for the Citi pre-sale and got pit tixs at MetLife for $270, which isn’t terrible

Had TM not fucked me, I would have saved a few bucks with the Nightrain code (tix were $250 vs $270 with Citi)

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but there is a citi card presale tomorrow at noon.  So if you have a citi card you don't have to sign up for nighttrain (like I almost did).

Thanks Chester - saw that. Looks like there is a 2 hour time difference between Citi and Nightrain. Not sure how fast pit tickets will go, but I think they are worth it for Metlife (side seating is relatively far from the stage there)

If one joins Nightrain today, do you get the presale code or is it too late?
