  1. The higher ups actually were not wrong. From 95’ to 99’ Axl didn’t have it. The music was not there. I’m actually quite surprised. I really thought he was sitting on some amazing material that he didn’t want to let go of but reality was he seemed to be all over the place and was forcing what little he had into pieces that just wasn’t good. I’d say Chinese Democracy had four songs that were terrible and another four that were epic and the rest were meh. From all of these unreleased songs, none so far have even been decent, maybe with the exception of the Axl/Tommy tune but even that is sub par as a whole.

Because life requires more than just water. I addition to an energy source (which there is on Mars), life also requires complex molecules that can somehow replicate themselves*, and there doesn't seem to be enough of such molecules on Mars. Or at least we haven't found them.

    * Of course we only know life as it exists on Earth, where the complex molecules are carbon-based. In theory, life elsewhere could consist on other types of molecules (like be silicon-based instead of carbon, although that results in fewer potential molecules). Or even not be made out of molecules at all. This is the topic of extrabiology, which is a funny scientific discipline in the sense that it is all just theory.

What I’m saying is if there is water then there has to be algae and algae even in a primitive stage is at least a single cell organism.

I am afraid not. They have found water and some of the building blocks for life as we know it.

If there is water then how is there not life?

If you have water wouldn’t you at least have algae? Algae can conduct photosynthesis and is   In it’s primitive stage at least a single cell organism

    And?

    Most goes to social security.

Second, this speaks to a revenue issue, not a spending issue (though the $600 billion the US spends on its military speaks to a priorities issue).

Third, if you examined most other developed nation, you’ll likely find similar outlay percentages.

Would the budget go up or down?

The US healthcare system is one of the least regulated systems in the developed world. If what you claim were true (ie. less regulations = lower costs), the US would have the cheapest healthcare services in the world. But in reality it’s the opposite.

Go back and take Econ 101 and look up the concept inelasticity with respect to a good or service.

That’s why I’m here, Downzy, oh wise one. Teach me how a federal budget that already consists of 70% going to entitlements, teach me how we’re going to government regulate the Wild Wild West that is our current healthcare system and make it better?

    Im all ears

That’s asinine. The US is the third or fourth most populated country on the planet but also one of the richest. It’s GDP per capita higher than most other developed nations that provide universal coverage.

It is an outright falsehood to claim that theUS can not afford to provide universal healthcare to its citizens.

So you can’t? And why not? Probably because none exist.

70% of the federal budget already goes to entitlements. 70 fucking percent.

Tell me, on what magical tree are you pulling off this never ending supply of $100 bills?

The entire point of the private sector is to extract profit at all cost

Without regulation we would have $10/month health care plans with $10,000 deductibles. That's optimal for the One Percent, but what about the rest of America?

If Americans had no medical debt and no student loan debt, they would be able to spend more. Wouldn't that help the free market?

It's almost like our bought and paid politicians on both sides want to keep the racket going so they can keep profiting from it

Do you understand how the free market works? Seriously?

Of course people work to make a profit. You work (I assume) to make a profit. That’s the entire fucking point. The amount of government interference in healthcare is insane. The reason it’s an absolute dumpster fire is 100% at the feet of the government. They have fucked it up so bad for so long you guys actually believe they’re the good guys in this inferno.

im not saying the private sector is without faults or they’re not greedy. It’s easy to get greedy when the government is in bed with you and there’s no one able to compete for some of your profits. The free market is the ultimate judge and juror. Allow the free market to do what it does. Allow the people to make their own decisions. This shit is not that complicated.

And the people who do them are disposable and  shouldn’t have healthcare?

Sure they should be able to get healthcare.

Its crystal clear that the government has no business in healthcare. The problem with healthcare in the US is that it’s been heavily regulated at the federal and state level for decades. The problem with healthcare is that because you breathe you feel you’re entitled to someone else’s labor for the price you (government) deem necessary.

You can look at other countries examples and stare longingly out the window wishing America could/would just follow suit but I’m not convinced that there’s one single thing the government can do better than the private sector. Can anyone name a country with a higher population than the United States where single payer is better than what the private sector provides?

Because one involved a man who suffered from mental illness who apparently had an issue with his sister.

The other involved twice the number of death and a gun man who was motivated by racial hatred, something your President continually  taps into and enflames whenever he needs political cover from the shit job he’s doing.

If Trump is responsible for El Paso then Democrats are responsible for Dayton.

Ahh I see how it works now.

What? In my country higher education is free. You just need to pay for accommodation and text books.

As for your claim that people get dumber from learning stuff: Hilarious!

    Oh... oh.... it’s free...

    Free?

You’re a lefty, of course you think it’s free and here we go again.

Does paying taxes mean it’s free? So if you rob Peter to pay Paul does that mean it’s free?

    😂😂😂😂😂 omg 😂😂😂😂

“ people of knowledge and wisdom”  a bunch of commies teaching gender studies and development biology watching the students sink trillions of dollars into a debt they can never payback, all the while, claiming victory  as the students get dumber and dumber.

Yeah well done, claim your trophy.

like I said, isn’t it amazing how the correlations of IQ decline and liberals taking over the education system go hand in hand?

They don't though. They have California, New York, and Illinois on lockdown. And Florida and Texas are purple states that will probably turn blue by 2024 or 2028, all because of demographic changes.

There are parts of the US that have more in common with a third world country than a first world one though, that was my point.

Texas is purple? Texas hasn’t voted for Democratic President since Carter in 1976.

    2019 - 1976 = 43 years.

Could it eventually go purple? Sure. But it’s not purple yet.

America was so down with socialism that Obama lost over 1000 seats during his presidency and lost the house and senate 2 yrs after he took the job, but no, they don’t always lose. Please hurry and try implementing it again. It’s obvious that no means yes to Democrats. Dems aren’t even close to taking the senate back, hell they lost more seats in 2018.

    😂😂😂

    Will that be your slogan?

So just ignore the constitution and my constitutional rights because... what can I say, welcome to society? It’s a social thing.

    😂😂😂

and some/most of you despise Trump and call him an authoritarian.. but you guys aren’t, see, what can I say, welcome to society? It’s a social thing.

Sorry, you can’t have abortions anymore because you’re actually committing murder and we don’t allow murder to happen. Sorry but there’s going to be collateral damage and the women that need them will just not be allowed. What can I say, welcome to society? It’s a social thing.

You know what? I kinda like it.

Kasanova King made some of the best remarks TBH. You can't really compare a continent sized country like the US to the tiny european ones, some of which are smaller than a brazilian state.

Also, soulmonster, gun ban did NOT work everywhere else. It didn't work on Brazil, Venezuela... well most of south america quite frankly.

I think you guys should travel more...

I don’t know @Chewbacca but you’re one of my favorite people

Good god what a ridiculous statement to make.

People like you are are why Trump won and will win again.

You may score points with antifa with asinine comments like that but anyone with an IQ above room temperature would prefer if you just stepped away from your keyboard and took a walk in the ocean.

USA is hardly special in that regard, yet other countries seem to have grown out of their fixation with weapons.

I don’t know if thats exactly it but perhaps.

It seems other people from other countries have more of a fixation on Americans owning guns than actual Americans.

I own several and almost everyone I know owns several. It’s a part of our culture. We’re a constitutional republic and it’s right there at #2 on the list 🙂

i don’t really think about it until I see people on tv wanting to take them, but it’s real simple from my perspective. Are you willing to die in order to take my guns? Because I’m willing to die in order to keep my guns.

Mass shootings are terrible. Anytime Innocent lives are lost is a terrible thing that thoughts and prayers aren’t going to provide the answer for.

I think its a multi variable problem and a lot of things get a pardon so guns can take the blame. Just like the reasons for gun control are multi variable.
