the easier way is not always the most efficient way.

I'm also not agreeing that fixing racism is harder, or reducing the availability of guns is easier. Guns are everywhere, in remote buildings, with extremist groups, criminals etc. Absolutely impossible to remove them all. the internet on the other hand, is a mouse click away.

it is my observation that these types of hate-crime, with online platforms full of racist posts (such as 8chan), online manifests by the murderers, live video feeds, are a phenomenon that was facilitated because of the internet. The internet is a controllable environment, see china and russia that heavily restrict access to the internet. If those countries can do that, how hard can it be to restrict access to these sites?

    So more government involvement?

Honestly, I think USA is fucked and destined for a civil war tbh.

Isn’t it funny that the IQ decline began when liberals took over the education system?

You're probably right about the US destined for a civil war.

I wish the lefties good fortune in the wars to come. It will be a difficult task when they’re fighting with dildos and bongs.

Sheesh. Save some pussy for the rest of us.

I see. So when asked to expound upon the rhetoric. It can’t be done.

How about putting all the racists in jail? Or perhaps a chamber?

How about a tax? You guys are fans of taxes, how about we charge them a tax so they can account for their racism...

I mean, a fucking guns n roses song can be taken down within minutes, but an entire online platform can happily post away racist shit?

What do you suggest we do about the racist people?

Should they be allowed freedom of speech?

Should they be allowed to vote?

Should they be allowed civil liberties?

Should they be allowed to gather?

Besides virtue signaling and claiming moral superiority, what the fuck is the endgame in dealing with racists?

    Should they be eliminated?

You forgot to mention that cats and dogs also die

We all are going to die sooner or later, one way o another. This is not the issue.

We are talking about people who have been massacred. We are talking about the deadly combination of metally ill people and weapons

And you are like "who cares? We are all going to die anyway. So let's keep buying guns"

It was actually a post from Neil Degrasse Tyson. I thought he was a darling on the liberal left?

To some of you, he holds fringe political beliefs all of a sudden

    how does that work?

    😂😂😂

liberals are my favorite. Some of you are precious.

What an odd thing to post (or for Neil De Grasse Tyson to post) is it that hard to understand the human reaction to mass slaughter of innocent people?

The medical errors stat (just to pick one) is completely useless by the way.

Well at least you admit your responses are based on emotion instead of data.

Yes, I live in a shit hole. I'm well aware of that. We're trying to change it by voting for people that want reduce goverment size (which is why a big country, full of resources like Brazil is still a shit hole). Boy... Lula sure fucked up this country.

Yeah, there’s still some of us fighting for that in America as well 👍

  8. In the past 48 hours, the US has lost 34 people to mass shootings

on average every 48 hours we lose

    500 to medical errors

    300 to the flu

    250 to suicide

    200 to car accidents

40 to homicide by hand gun

tell me... do we respond emotionally more to spectacle or data?

Curious minds would like to know. . .

    I give up

Jesus christ i give up. Get a fucking tank then if your that scared. Put a nuclear warhead on everyone's porch. Until the criminals get one and round and round we go.

    You’ve convinced me. . .

So if I give up my weapons all I have to do to protect my family is call someone else?

The authorities I bet, the ones we’ve sworn will protect us.

All I have to do is wait 30 minutes for them to get here...

    Cool.

Is anyone saying it isn't the shooter's fault? Is anyone here saying he should go free?

But there are always reasons for why someone does something, links further back in the chain of cause and effect. And that's what we are talking about now, because we want to prevent the next mass murder. And one of these chain links is the citizens of USA who doesn't vote for politicians who stand on a platform of limiting gun violence through more sensible regulation. Again, only the shooter is at fault for the crimes he did; but the electorate of USA is at fault for not doing more to prevent such atrocities from happening, including introducing common sense gun regulation.

If we can legislate common sense gun regulation can we legislate common sense abortion regulation? We’re not coming after your abortions, liberals. We just want common sense abortion control.

You see the problem with common sense gun regulation, and why the NRA opposes any reform to the second is because it will never be enough. The endgame is to remove the second, not reform it. If you can’t atleast be honest with that point then all of this is just right and left talking points being thrown at one another.

And what exactly is common sense gun regulation? Who says it’s common sense? Who judges what is acceptable and what isn’t?

You will never stop a person from shooting up a mall or theater or grocery store or church or nightclub.

If coyotes are killing your cats why in the hell would you declaw your cats?

Yeah I love the way that an argument for not taking people’s guns is basically that if you try we’ll fucking shoot you. I guess that self awareness isn’t some people’s strong suit eh?

    I’ve got two AR-15’s, 1 AR-10, a 303 British, and an M1 Garand.

Do I get to keep those?

No one is not blaming the murderers. But that doesn't mean one shouldn't organise society in a way that would reduce gun violence.

And every society develops. The fact that USA still is somewhat primitive in regards to guns, and haven't developed to a state where the vast majority of citizens don't see the point in owning instruments for violence, doesn't mean it won't. Every other developed nation has.

You see America as primitive when it comes to guns but that’s the way I see every other nation with strict gun laws. Go down to Texas and start knocking on doors demanding guns and see exactly how primitive you find it to be 😂

im not saying your thoughts and feels about civilized society, developed nations, and gun laws are wrong, I’m just saying when you talk about removing guns from gun owners in the United States of America, you almost talk as though you’re above us and looking down. I take it you’ve been to these developed nations with strict gun laws and now you’re back, and enlightened, and you know what’s best for everyone.

One way to get through to Americans is to tell them you’re smarter and know what’s best for them.

And of course the other way is to bypass the whole persuasion thing and go straight to force.

    Good luck with both :)

  13. The people of the United States will NEVER surrender or voluntarily relinquish their weapons. Ever. That isn’t ever going to happen, so all the talk about removing, banning, taking guns because it will mean less gun crime is ridiculous. Placing the blame anywhere else but the person that pulled the trigger is even more ridiculous. The second is entrenched in this country.

If you can’t figure out how to lead a country without making them surrender their weapons then you probably aren’t the one that should be leading the country.

Fair Enough. LTD is the only Slash album that I haven't listened to repeatedly apart from the rest of SMKC and Slash albums. CD gets a huge bad rep and its a shame, its not a bad album...very underrated. I've been a Guns fan since I was 15...I'm 33 now, to say Guns had one album released in the 18 or so years I've been fan 10 years since the last one got released is a bummer. Its not exactly been plain sailing in the GnR world but hopefully there's some new music to enjoy in the next 18 months...;)

Axl did it to himself, imho. Chinese was good but was so blatantly obvious that no one had the balls to tell Axl no. So now Axl has to deal with living with the material and he’s never really satisfied. Instead of an album being a snapshot of where you’re at, at that point in time, it’s like he’s trying to create something that’s never really attainable and he’s permanently stuck in a position of “ I don’t know if soon is the word.”

I’m a huuuge fan of the Deftones and thank god they release albums reguarly every 2-3 years, so I get to enjoy the journey and listen to the band evolve over the course of 20+ years. Going from UYI to CD there was an 17 year gap of umm..how did we get to here?

  15. I’m quite suprised of the entitlement some fans have and how they feel they are owed certain things because of their fandom. Axl doesn’t owe us a new record, or live shows, or access to anything. I think he was on record as saying he didn’t care about the bootlegs that are out there.

Back in 06, I believe it was, whenever the large batch of leaks came out, I remember there was a song that we all didn’t know the title of and there were people literally badgering Ron Thal about the name of a song and I remember just sitting back in my chair in awe of the balls that it would take to be like “ Hey, we stole this shit but we don’t know the name of this song.. could you tell us the name?” 😂 I mean you gotta have some brass balls to pull that off.

Imho, Axl was controlled chaos and his attitude towards the media, his fan base, lack of released material was probably him and his personality but also a calculated one.

I was actually quite surprised he reconciled with Slash in 2015/2016 and was a little bummed that the 2002 lineup never really materialized. I really liked the duo of Bucket/Robin. Not to take away from Slash because Slash belongs right next to Axl & Duff. If I could only grab one GnR record for the rest of my life, it would easily be UYI2.
