    For 30+ years Axl remained virtually silent on political leanings, though he did release “One in a Million” and “Civil War” but on interviews never really dove into policy or political stances. 

    I would agree that perhaps the entire AFD album could have been a shot to the Reagan era of the 80’s but again others could interpret it however they want. I’m not going to “Virtue Signal” my thoughts and pretend we could all do a little better in our rhetoric of right vs left and just a few short years ago Axl stated on Jimmy Kimmel that he has never even voted, and all of a sudden a big city billionaire from Queens, New York is a man that the United States must “resist.” 

    Make no mistake, Donald J. Trump is a Democrat in Republican clothes. Just a few short years ago, most of the policies Trump chants for were all found on a Democratic platform. He’s the first president in the history of the United States that’s openly pro gay marriage but I’m suppose to pretend, I’m supposed to pretend that he’s the next coming of Hitler, and blacks are getting shot in massive numbers for for just being black, women are having their rights taken away, and every immigrant is living in tyranny and fear of being sent back to wherever they came from.

     Gimme a fucking break. 

    I’m not the biggest Trump fan in the world but How many times can you cry wolf before I run out of fucks to give? I’m out.

    When did conservative values of free speech and limited government become a fringe political belief? 

    If Axl is so liberal why not give the original members each 20% ownership and redistribute the GnR wealth? 

    Or Did axl Capitalize on his position? 

    Does Axl believe in personal responsibility? Seems like he does to me

    Nothing about Axl Rose seems liberal to me Its easy to get on twitter and shout "liberalism" from the keyboard but he seems to be very much a capitalist by action.

    No, honestly I do it for me, and I'm always curious to see or hear opinions from other people, but its a therapy session for me everytime I sit down to record something. I have a couple cd's I recorded, one in 2007 and one in 2012. Never pushed them other than the local radio station does a "homegrown" battle on the radio that I won a few years back. They were kind of pissed that I was just a "one man band", lol.

    Still working on it. Working on the locomotive part now.  I'll post the full song when it's finished.

    I figured I would get flamed by GnR fans, lol. 

    Coma and Locomotive are two of my faves from the GnR catalog, so I wanted to blend them together and do something original. I think it will be pretty bad ass when it's done.

    Disgusting. I'm a loooooong time fan, and found this absolutely distasteful.

    Of all the ways they could use their platform and that was their response?That? Good grief. What a way to make a statement. 

    They decided to make a political statement and that was it. 

    The lowest point in their career. They all should be ashamed to walk on stage. 

    I'm ashamed for them.

    TSI is a great record and its always been a mystery to me, as a fan since 88, that the hardcore fan base dismisses it almost completely.

    I lean towards UYI2 over Appetite, but I cant argue whichever way you wanna go, but how does TSI leapfrog Appetite or one of the illusions?

    Edit: Appetite has to be my fave. I've played it so many god damn times that at this point I prefer UYI2, but it's gotta be Appetite, and then choose your Illusion :)

    The Chinese tracks..., well, Slash's attempt at them have been awful. The solo was the only damn thing that saved TIL, and Slash just butchers it. Doesn't even attempt it.

    TWAT was awful. I realize that is their first time, but still. Practice the shit ffs.

     

    Done being negative. Back to complete awe and disbelief and what I'm actually seeing.

    It's at least 2010 or bust.

    It's kinda funny. I've said my while life. If GnR get back together, I just need a date and I'd be there. The reason I didn't and won't buy tickets for coachella is Axl, and the uncertainty of his shape, vocal ability.

    I hope they come out and absolutely kill it, though.

    If he sounds the way he did in 2014, it's going to suck so bad
