  1. On each of his albums there are at least 2 to 3 tunes that are great.

I'll not post more than three tunes to keep the list as short as possible, but there are other great songs, too. Just give it a listen.

    It's five o'clock somewhere:

    Soma City Ward

    Back and forth again

    Beggars and hangers on

    Ain't life grand:

    Been there lately

    Back to the moment

    Ain't life grand

    Contraband:

    Sucker Train Blues

    Slither

    Dirty little thing

    Libertad:

    Let it roll

    Gravedancer

    Messages

    Slash:

    Crucify the dead

    By the sword

    Watch this

    Apocalyptic love:

    Halo

    Anastasia

    Not for me

  2. What I consider the best songs you wouldn't agree with and vice versa. As example many people on here dislike Bad Rain, but Slash choose it as a single.

I like to listen to One Last Thrill and to Hard and Fast whereas most on here don't dig them.

There are endless more examples. The more songs on a CD the better

  3. Nice interview Slash2baz. Unfortunately they won't play Don't Daimn Me but I've never expected that.

I have one more question related to the album. Are most of the songs as fast and hard as World On Fire or do you consider the first single faster compared to the rest. Are their any Ballads or some REALLY hard tunes on it?

  4. People who goes in for quality of the sound and people who wants to hold something in their hands and reading the booklet while hearing new music

You can download lossless-quality files. That argument is only valid if you buy vinyl and have a decent setup.

Mabey you can download lossless quality. I've no idea about downloading music. But iTunes mp3 files aren't the same quality as original CDs, that's for sure.

For me it doesn't matter. If there is something that I like, I will buy it.

  5. 50/100

you could be mine is borning

nightrain is a ok song not the best

acoustic your crazy is to slow

    these are my favorites

    -Black Leather

    -Look at your game girl

    -just another sunday

    2/10

YCBM is boring and you choose Just another sunday?

Crazy is to slow but Look at your game girl isn't?

And Black Leather is better than Nightrain?

    Okay now thats pretty funny

    1. Nightrain

    2. 14 Years

    3. Out Ta Get Me / Civil War

  6. What is the instrumental like. Similar with Watch This or something like Jizz Da Pit or does it go to another direction?

Ok MY point on "Safari Inn" is....probably the worst song on the album and worst instrumental Slash has recorded. I can't tell you why right now and i really need to hear the album again because i could change my mind on this particular song.

Regarding Todd Kerns on vocals, I guess the man himself told somewhere he didn't sing lead vocals on the new album. Just backing vocals.

Okay thanks. I guess I'll just wait to build my own opinion

  7. The opening riff is great. Very rock n roll'ish, very energetic. I was a bit disappointed when the verse kicked in cause it changed the whole vibe of the song. But somehow it grows on me and the chorus fits the song in a good way. Way better than hearing it solely.

Slash's solo is not outstanding but still very good, and after that the vibe of the song change again in something that makes me smile. A killer outro!

All that said, World On Fire is not a masterpeace but a great foretaste to the new album

  8. Sounds a bit too polish

Ha! a 30 second snippet that sounds too polished! Coming from Slash no less.

Not sure how much you can really take from a song after 30 seconds but in that whole 30 sec snippet, it sounds too me

I know that's only 30 seconds and all you can hear is the chorus and thats not enough to appreciate a hole song, but what I've heard is not what I consider heavy and sleazy... I miss that rawness
