These Spotify customer support people probably don't know shit. They're just there to answer simple questions like how to search on the app and make a playlist.
Exactly. And if someone says they can't find GNR's new single, they'll say it hasn't been released yet because they can't find it either. They're not thinking it's a trick to find out if there actually is such a song. They just believe the customer asking about a new single.
And no one cares about how their algorithm works. Why would they? It's only an issue for us GNR nerds/lunatics.

We need four more titles to pop up to have our imaginary proper GN'R album (assuming that it already includes Absurd and Hard Skool). And if it continues beyond that, we'll have our imaginary trilogy.
So, if all this turns to be nothing (very likely), it'll at least have created a ghost GN'R album in the alternate reality of Spotify.
Beta said at some point that Absurd was on the new cd, so I think it should be on our imaginary album too.

I think for most it's just a fun sort of mystery game. We all know in GNR world it usually ends with an anticlimax, but it's fun while it lasts. And in some (rare) cases, all the sleuthing actually led to something exciting, like the reunion and Hard Skool.

"Just a small update, might not mean a thing.
"Going Down" is now listed on ASCAP, as well as a new song called "10%er". Both written by Tommy, with GN'R listed as the performer"Could this mean something??? Anyone knows?
It was mentioned here as well, probably a few pages ago.

I guess that's why Matt changed his book
And ugh, those drum solos I've hated for 30 years now. Bleh.

Can you buy just the cd's and blu-rays and have all the tracks available? It all seems so complicated 😬

Yeah, it would be quite disrespectful to release new music with all that's going on in the world right now.

I heard that Axl's voice range is 5 Octaves, and I question this. That Siren noise that came out of his MOUTH(Welcome To The Jungle intro) seems higher than a 5 to me , more like an 8..

Saw only the last few songs, but very happy that they seem to have had a great show.

Great! When I saw Måneskin at a festival, I couldn't help but think they were like the other big festival bands 30 years ago. Half naked, jumping off the stage, getting into the crowd, making young fans scream and faint Big difference with those same bands now they're in their 50s and 60s.

I just can't quite understand how he got that far in the music industry with such mediocre tastes. Doesn't mention UYI best track (Coma, by far), thinks Chinese shouldn't have been released, and the funniest part: dares saying CD tracks are better live thanks to Slash!
Niven hates Coma. I remember a video interview a few years back where he said: 'Coma? It put me in one!' And found himself very funny. At that moment I decided I would never pay any attention anymore to Niven

Quick question to the experts here:
Did the Toronto lithos (set, Oct 29-30th 2017) have their number printed or hand numbered? I'm asking as I purchased the set from ebay (Seller is warpig96, 1090 sales with 100% rating)
I personally bought the Hellfest litho, and while really disappointed by both the design and the quality of the print itself, I was surprised to see that the numbers were printed (with and handwritten font, but still clearly printed). Compared to my LA 2021 and LA 2017 Slash where it's clearly hand numbered, this is disappointing.
The Toronto Lithos set is very much like the litho of Hellfest in terms of quality and printed numbers.
Also any info you may have on this ebay seller, any experience?
Thank you and rockNroll!
No expert, but warpig has been discussed here at length. I did a search and his name pops up from page 111, probably earlier too, but that's the reference I found.

22 minutes ago, Blackstar said:Here's what Niven said in another interview:
The Use Your Illusion sleeves were based on a detail from Raphael’s painting The School Of Athens, a priceless Renaissance masterpiece that hangs in the Vatican. It was completed in 1511, which, as Niven swiftly realised, meant that it was out of copyright by several centuries. “I’m looking at it and thinking, ‘Great – when it comes to the merchandising, we don’t have to pay Kostabi or anybody else a dime: these things are in the public domain’,” says Niven. “Those images that Axl paid a huge fortune for, he could have basically had for free. It always made me smile to think of Axl writing a huge cheque to this guy Kostabi when he could have had Del James paint similar backgrounds, cut out the same image, stick it on and give Del a six pack.”https://www.a-4-d.com/t1827-2011-06-dd-classic-rock-magazine-behind-use-your-illusion
I find it funny that Niven, a guy active in (music) arts himself, would want to rip off an artist and mocks Axl for paying an artist for his work. If anything, it paints Axl in a good picture, wanting to recompensate an artist for the use of his work, even if it was based on the School of Athens.

It should go without saying you don't film guests at your workplace, no matter who it is.
It's bad enough it has to be spelled out, let alone people still doing it even if they're told not to.

Finally got round to reading Stoner by John Williams. Great read.
After having read The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson, I'm now rereading Neither Here nor There.

Another great one today. I really love it. I had no idea a German discovered Uranus, so another thing learnt today. I love the Petit Prince theme.

There is no right or wrong, it's personal choice. You worry about your ears and don't be rude about opinions which differ from yours.
TBH, poster started by mocking people because they wear earplugs, so maybe she had it coming

It's funny, as I've seen Metallica multiple times now over 30 odd years and was comparing setlists between 1993 and 2022, just out of curiosity. Newsflash: I got 5 different songs when I compare 1993 to 2022. In 1996 when I saw them, there were a few more 'new' songs as they were touring a new album, I believe. I realize Metallica has put out a lot more music, but in the end, the bulk of their shows still has the same songs. They also only play 18 songs or so, so a lot less than GNR does on average.
In 2022, I got 6 songs I hadn't seen before from GNR. I saw only one show this leg, but I saw 3 in 2017 and 5 in 2018. And they didn't even play You're Crazy and Hard Skool in Groningen
So cut it out with the 'always the same' blabla.
Note: Just as most on here, I assume, I would love to have NEW music and I too am disappointed at no new singles this year. I would rather hear Perhaps than Back in Black. But I'm just saying that it's not the same show as in 2017 or 2018.

Absolutely! I always like the arty ones, but this is one of my absolute favourites through the years for sure. I wonder what it looks like irl, with the gold. It looks like just yellow, I think, but imagine that in gold.

I find it funny that someone who seems to be a fanboy uses ear plugs during a rock concert
Tinnitus and permanent hearing damage are so much cooler 😎
I don't get how not everyone protects their hearing nowadays. There's great earplugs specifically for concerts.

gnrtourtruck.com but only on days of the show and the shirts are slightly different because they have the big image on the front instead of the back
Have they been doing that for Europe too? If they have, they should advertize. How is anyone supposed to know?
I ordered one from st Paul's. I love it. But it cost me too much in taxes to make it a regular thing 😄

Are you seriously comparing Guns N Roses with U2 ?
No, she's saying that stage set up doesn't mean they'll be playing smaller venues next.

The stage is setup on the wide side of the stadium, so i guess the crowds are getting smaller and smaller.Axl's weak voice and the lack of new music are having an affect on the ticket sales.Soon, GN'R will only be playing in max 12k ppl arenas.
Hasn't this been sold out for a long long time? Also, I saw them a few weeks back in a sold out venue of over 50k. Seems a long way away from 12k.

Yeah, same in Belgium.
Also, yesterday Thyme didn't do anything for me. Today, it does suggest GNR. It's really odd it seems to shift from day to day.
