Damn, we found out yesterday, that Duff said an announcement is gonna happen soon, MAYBE even this week and now we’re all going crazy and pissed of because it’s Friday somewhere in southeast asia and perhaps hasn’t been released and no announcement was made yet. Give it time until Friday next week for any announcement to happen, then we can be disappointed

This,  plus he's saying it to a German journalist. It's not about New Zealand time. Hell, he didn't even said it was sure to be this week. It's Thursday here. No need to get upset yet.

Only difference is they have the print in the front I think (which personally I think is better).

Seems a good option to me- and I doubt she'd care that much of the print was on the front or back? Fuck ebayers and their profiteering.

Yeah, I like the print in the front better too, but they haven't done that for the show shirts since 2017, I think. I got the Peanuts tour truck shirt because I loved the design so much, and I like the print in the front. A bonus is that it's a dark blue shirt, so it makes a difference from the eternal black.

Now we're on to that and while I'm giving suggestions, I would like another colour again :P

Concert info says they are playing from 19:00 till 22:30 a long show with the alt setlist for the 15k diehards who come to see them!

    I hope so 🥳

It will be my first show since 2017 that I'll be in GA. I wonder how that experience will be, not being in the front 😁 Stupid high prices 😡

  4. I can't imagine people on the forum here stalking journalists that write a bad review, even if it's a shit biased review. I could imagine a certain type of fans do that, but not this forum. In fact, the consensus here seems to be to just ignore the overly bad reviews and not give him anymore attention. That seems to be the polar opposite of starting a hate campaign online. We're no GNR army here.

  5. I agree they shouldn't give those reviewers the attention. They were obviously biased and were never going to like the show and wanted to come off the coolest guy in the class. But it's always been that way. With soms artists and reviewers, you can just predict it. They'll get a 5 star review every single time, each show seems to be perfect, while others will never get a positive review.

While I've been to many shows (not just GNR) and then got back and read reviews where I think: WTF? It's just one man's opinion and point of view.

I do think it's really stupid to write a review about a band or a singer you can't stand. Then you should be man enough to say to hand it to a more neutral person. Sadly, clickbait. Those ultra negative reviews get shared because people love bad news.

GNR and Axl should keep focusing on the good, lots of casuals are impressed and positive and lots of reviews were balanced, while still taking in valid criticism.

I don't think the problem is Axl's voice. As a proof, watch any audience recorded video from this tour and there is no difference in volume.
And as someone noticed, usually Axl was inaudible in the first seconds when he goes from the lower register to his high register, then the sound was normal and you could hear Axl again.

But it was the same at Graspop. Sometimes you could barely hear Axl and I was in the front and could actually see him scream in his mic. I think others mentioned it as well long before Glastonbury.

Man, please, Glastonbury, fix the mix. Sounds muddy. But band sounds great.

Is the audio crap as a few times axl has been low and then comes up.

I thought it was my tv but Axl goes up and down in the mix every while

It was the same last week at Graspop. Think it's them adjusting to Axl's voice being strong and then again weaker.

  8. Yeah, I've been thinking since the start this couldn't end well. It is a catastrophe, but I think all involved knew the risks and they willingly took them. However tragic it is, it's not a huge shock that people who travel to space and the deepest oceans don't die peacefully in bed. It seems the implosion was days ago, so I think it's good they haven't had to suffer for days.

Sorry for interrupting the conversation, have you go to any show with EE? I have EE for the first time for Budapest. I bought it to make sure to get the rail. So I am interested how much earlier should I come to the venue? Were lines for EEs long as for standard golden circles or is it just ok to come a half an hour earlier before regular doors opening?

Many EE's will come from noon or so and queue up there for many hours and they will give themselves and each other numbers to enter, it's serious business! So if you come only half an hour in advance, chances are many are in front of you. I would assume you'd still be front row though, but maybe not front Axl

PJ ? ...Pearl jam , Gosh i thought that would be the last concert that would happen. I bet Vedder  ran away...<_<

Um... They wanted to call it quits after that, they were devastated. It was through no fault of their own and when I saw Pearl Jam last year Eddie mentioned it again. He always has his eye on the crowd and asks if everyone is okay when he thinks someone might be in trouble, like addressing people personally.
