I'm just a fan from the prime time and I guess I've lived enough to know this band, in all of its stages, from dusk til dawn, from the glory days to this actual decadence. No one can take away the memories I have, my teenage years spent as a fan, TB can't tell me shit about all that. I was here before them.

These guys seem to ALWAYS focus on the negative instead of the positive.

A few guys find some leaks - so beta or dell or whoever it was makes comments about maybe they shouldn't release an album. One fan throws something on the stage, shut the show down for the other 5,000 people. A few people make rude comments - come out guns slinging.

Why not focus on the millions of people who love Axl and GnR instead of the random few that don't?

A psychologist could explain it better but that mindset is exactly what keeps Axl from releasing albums every 20 years and his ex-bandmates working regularly.

Focusing on the negative is a choice. Being negative is an easy way to victimize yourself so that u are never responsible for anything. Immature behavior and pretty hard to correct if the person think they are right all the time. "Its not me, it's them." We are doomed with people like this. And the worst is that it seems there isn't only one person with this mindset in the GNR camp.

That is really sad. Like I said, there is literally several million people who would buy every album that Axl decided to release. Why not focus on pleasing the die-hards rather than worrying about those who might not like it.

I guess this is why the song's get in the ring abnd out ta get me are so relevant, unfortunately.

Because that is the way they decided to approach life: being negative and blaming others. It's a way to relief the guilt. It works for a while, like when he made it look like Slash was the rock in his shoes. But everybody moved on and built their own careers and bands. Now it is only him and the people he chose to be in GN'R and truth is out there: no one's stoping him from making music, except for his own negativity and mindset.

His management is negative as well. Their speech is a constant provokation to the fans who don't like the band. It is a battle against the people who made GN'R what GN'R is (or was). It's ridiculous. Neither Axl or TB would be here without that past they reject so much. Yet they feel like they have to exterminate fans from the old line-up, which is impossible. It's an energy drain not worth it.

"Get in the Ring" and "Out to get me" should belong to an era that is closed. No one's out to get Axl and media don't give a fuck anymore.

I'll fire her myself if there's no new album by next winter, Axl needs discipline and firm encouragement in order to reach his optimum capabilities or he seems to get stuck in a rut and comfortable cause he's earned the position of not having to force art in order to keep receiving the cash and fan loyalty. Our misconceptions and fantasies along with our misguided sense of entitlement don't dictate his actions but making a point of not releasing music for years upon years because he isn't ready and touring the same thing don't equate to fulfilling the various levels of potential this band has had since 2001 either.

Until Axl realizes that I meant him no harm, there is no point in calling him. The last time we talked on the phone in 2008, it didn't go very well. I didn't get one word in and he was not the Axl that I knew. In all the years that I knew him, he never got upset at me before. It hurt me to go though that and I would rather not do it again until he understands what I'm doing is the right thing and that I'm the one who still sticks up for him when needed.

Also until Slash and him clear the air, he sees me as a Slash supporter only and is not able to see that I'm the same guy that I always was which is right in the middle between both of them. I know what both sides want and know that there is a middle. He is not able to see that and for that reason he is upset with me and thats that.

If I could go back in time to 1994 when he was so proud of the work that I put together, and told him what was going to happen between us when the book comes out, There would be no way that he would believe it. unfortunately his perceptive on things changed and I took the hit for it. There is nothing I can do about it. I will always remember our friendship and will always be here for him when he is ready to continue it.

Congratulations on being the way you are because this is the right way to be. Axl Rose is not a God of the Universe (even though some people made him believe he is) who should have people begging on their knees for his friendship. No one should drag themselves to be considered his friend....

Belgium, much like France, just lacked any sense of urgency even at the end and so out they go. Argentina looked more of a team than they have so far but still not firing on all cylinders but then again who has?

The Netherlands for me just edged it. Costa Rica have played really well, the definition of a team, and Navas has been outstanding but they just lacked that edge.

As for Neymar, I genuinely thought he'd been taken off as he'd had a blow and Brazil wanted to waste time. Wasn't until this morning I saw how serious his injury was. Axl used to admire Fiona Apple (I think he still does). Fiona is a real songwriter, talented artist. If he didn't duet with her I doubt he's gonna do it with Lana.
