  1. Exactly....that's what I've found with them too....wonder if they're on here and listening to our discussion ....🤷
  2. Funnily since we're all talking about this again, this just came up in my feed, posted an hour ago...
  3. Not just praised....it was like a full 180! Huge 5 Starr reviews and that he had not only saved Angus and co but realised a childhood dream and been reborn. 2016 will go down as one of the best if not best years to be a fan of Axl!
  4. I thank this topic for making me revisit that era and some of the performances but then I'm left thinking, WTF - this shouldn't even be a question....one day far away from now they'll be a proshot of this magical collaboration and the world will see (I luckily saw it live in person and still in my top 10 gigs! Slash was a few meters in front, also loving it!) When we watch something like this and see the kinda venom coming outta of the man and the attack and vigour, you see a man truly going for it...it really must of taken a lot of effort from Ax to bring it like this....but even then WOW..forget 2010, this is the closest in performance, voice and charisma we ever got to the 90s! Unreal. The ending still gives me goosebumps! 🤘🤘🤘 .
  5. Not sure I agree completely....but to be fair, he was new, he really really had to bring it, to prove a point and keep his place...
  6. NJ actually. Feb 24th 2012. They did a lot of "House Of Blues" on the up close and personal touring.... Also...yea, that was my hesitation too with picking NuGNR BUT...since Axl is massive part of whether a performance is good...as he's the hardest to replace and still sound like Guns...also some of the best material/proshot quality comes from that era, so I feel it deserves to be included, as officially, it was still GNR! Also. Don't forget Dizzy! He's been there basically forever and would/will be included in all 90s songs...so...
  7. Tough to argue with the energy on this being one of the best Michelle's
  8. YC House Of Blues 2012 is often overlooked. One of the best and proshot, especially the last 2 minutes! @ZoSoRoseI see you're blank in this column at present.
  9. Okies....an interesting new candidate for Axl's worst career move....😆💇
  10. Something bit like this...😸👀👀👁️ 😸 It could of happened in 2016 when he was out of the picture...never now! It'll be released around 30 years from now when they've all buggered off to the gates of hell and sons and daughters of estates are scrambling interesting asides to put out and flog in the VR world we'll be in....
  11. Yea...so we can escape "tough" questions? 😸 2016 was fucking awful year in the music world for legends dying.... BUT it was THEE Year of the Axl Phoenix rising from the ashes...that's for sure.
  12. Almost certainly....as it's a hugely taxing way to sing 50+....BUT it shouldn't of been a permanent problem, it would of been a rest up and recover thing and would imagine he'd be fine...perhaps the fact he couldn't rest up, instead he went straight into 7 years of touring... The constant touring is the issue! Most young artists tour for 18months, then disappear for 2-3 years to the studio and produce an album ...then repeat. If your only outlet is touring and it's extensive and it's hard rock and you're + 60...it's gonna show!
  13. Batshit crazy is more plausible than logical means with these cream crackers...so YEP!
  14. Add zeroes to each of those,.this time next month.... It was day of proposed release, wasn't it? 27th....
  15. It's been a while....but pulled this one out for a run! The first scream is InSANE....the 2nd, as he transitions without breath, almost even more intense! Axl on the chair, was a total beast! After 2010 and the Rio debacle, we thought we'd never get levels such as pre 2011 again...he proved us wrong...we've been in a similar position last few years... Can he sound as good as 2016 again? No Can he sound as good as 2010 again? Certainly not... Those are the stupid questions we ask each other, of course he can't, he's 14 and 8 years older... Can he sound quite a bit better for the the current times? YES! (provided there's no progressive issue/damage) I think we can healthily link Axl's best performances to his motivation and when something's happening that gets him truly up in the morning....CD out relief, touring the album, Reunion honeymoon, fronting one of his childhood band heroes... So, new album is our best hope to get him going again! This year at times has been a positive, he sang Perhaps & The big G pretty well on select dates and even with rasp... The long screams ain't coming back I suspect but he can do better and I believe an extended (not ages tho) break will really help...as long as there's motivation on return....if not...it's ok LIVE N LET DIE MUTHA F'er
  16. Not at all...a thread is like a track, you don't need to stay on it ...😸
  17. Yea, the proshots I bolded...that's what I was referring to...👍
  18. To be a fly on the phone when Fernando had to got on the blower to Touch Tunes and be like "You need to take that shit down ...." 🫣
  19. It's like every 3 (or so) years we get something exciting...😝
  20. You'll have to settle for Duff Beer & Old Slasher for the foreseeable...
  21. How much does the video that came with Perhaps promote it higher on the vote....hmmm
  22. It's sounds great EXCEPT Axl's vocal dropouts which is pretty annoying...that's more on Axl...mostly it's all the parts that go to the higher voice...should of had their tour engineer sit in with Mr BBC to me inform when they needed to push the volume waaay up...for TV. The in the audience venue mix FOH was better...
