Fuck yeah! Streets Of Rage in the early 90s was amazing, two player co-op FTW.

One of the best VR tracks for me, I think it fits that point in time, for that band really well. There already way too many "what could've beens" with this band.

I keep hoping my standard ps4 will kick the bucket so I can get a pro to go with my massive 4k tv.....

I borrowed a friend's SE for a few months. It was around $500 new I think. It was garbage tbh. Not anywhere near the quality of most USA-made Gibsons I've played. I know little about PRS, and especially little about the non-USA models, so perhaps there are higher tier SEs?
Probably just an SE and not an SE Custom. The cheapest ones are made Indonesia and do not have good things said about them. The SE Custom range is from South Korea and built to a higher standard from what I understand.

Agree with the comments about the mix, it is pretty shit. The guitar tones and like a swarm of bees fighting a packet of razor blades in a tin can. And the vocal treatment is not good, but it has venom and is a perfect slice of paranoid Axl at his batshit best. CD could have done with a few more like this, but with better mixes and production.

I have an SE, and have played several more. They aren't as nice as the US PRS, HOWEVER (caps intentional) they seriously play about as well as almost any Gibson I've played. They are fantastic.
Good to know, the one I played was very nice; I bet the US ones are something special though.

PRS SEs are really great guitars
I tried out the Helix today through a PA. Absolutely amazing piece of equipment
Yeah, played one the other week and fell in love! Glad you're enjoying the helix, I have had about an hour on one through a powered FRFR speaker and it was immense. Would love to have one to play around with.

Wow! Hey man, its always good to find new gear that clicks! Id love a Mini Jub one day but I do think they are too expensive. AC30 is 2x12. Right? So that is definitely a huge sound
I also made the plunge and bought a Helix LT yesterday. I'm really in over my head lol
I would love a helix.... just need to convince Mrs SoundOfAGun that it is essential I have one of them and one of these:

Thanks! I'm not a professional, taught myself to sing when I learned how to play guitar.

The Colour and the Shape was their peak IMO, so many good tracks. I followed them vaguely up until "In Your Honour" and then kind of lost interest. Disenchanted Lullaby from One By One was also a highlight for me.

oh ok got it now. it was pre-recorded sample that we used. we did not play it we just placed it in song.
Pretty much what I do with my own music. Recording good drums is hard...

Tele's have a very "twangy" sound if that's the right word.
I'd agree with that, also have nice cleans but the single coils aren't the best for dirty tones.

The video is a complete waste of time, I wonder who greenlit the release? Also at a time where they could have dropped a video for a track from CD and maybe sold some more records. Wasn't a video for Better finished by this point?
-
You're welcome, sorry if I was not clear; I mean was it a traditional drum kit that you used and recorded with microphones or an electronic kit/virtual instrument that uses samples of pre-recorded drums.
-
Great job guys! Nice vocals and guitars. Were the drums live/acoustic?

I used this site:
It is a one off fee to put music out. As for making money, at the last count, I had almost $6 that I have earned. Can't decide whether to spend it on a luxury yacht or a small island.....

Yeah I love isolated tracks too. I think the only ones previously on YouTube are WTTJ and SFTD.
Isn't there something in the boxset that should allow more isolated tracks to be sourced?
Would love to hear all the isolated bass tracks, especially RQ.
They all end up as stereo files I think (apart from the surround sound mixes). I have heard the isolated vocals that were taken from the Rock band game, but would love to hear more.

I love hearing the isolated tracks from songs, I don't know why, it is like a fetish or something! Sounds like there was some sort of edit in the first chorus and I didn't know the backing ended with "Just a little patience is all we need".
Anyone know of any more?
