  1. Loved FFVII when I was a kid. Recently played it again, the blocky graphics doesn't bother me at all. Still a great game. I never liked FFVIII. The design, characters and shattered story didn't appeal to me. I haven't played any of the games after FFIX (which I love). The characters, story and design doesn't appeal to me at all, just seems bland and tacky.

My favorite of them all is FFVI, followed by FFVII and FFIX. The remake of VII seems ok, I guess. I still prefer the design of the original, the remake seems quite cheesy. The series never gained from using voice actors. Quite the contrary IMO.

i think he went out on a limb saying it as in him going out on his own to serve his own parasitic needs of stirring the pot and not really admitting it

Oh man, I can't read about "parasitic needs" without thinking about a cheap punk named Warren Beatty. <_<

Cheers! I was actually thinking of staying in either Camden or Shoreditch, you will probably know which is better?

    No problem!

I used to live in hoxton, close to shoreditch. Great area, but Camden is also a lot of fun. I'd call it a draw.

Also a recommendation; if you like weird shit, there's a museum/absinthe bar in Hackney called "viktor wynd museum of curiosities". Among the curiosities: poo from Kylie Minogue in a jar and a gold enhanched hippopotamus skull that once belonged to pablo escobar. Great fun, especially if you're fucked on absinthe in the meantime.

Anybody know of the best area to stay in London? Wold be staying a few night and would also like to hit a few of the bars!! Any help would be really appreciated!!

I just moved from London a half year ago. There's loads of enjoyable pubs. My favourite is "the good mixer" in Camden. Lots of fun (and weird, but in a friendly and funny way) people there usually; all in all, a great "dive". A bonus is that the bar is also historical ground, Blur and Oasis (among others) used to party there in their heydays. "Karaoke hole" in dalston is also a fun place, if you like karaoke and drag queens in a packed, small place.

  5. I know that I'd heard a band at my junior high school play sweet Child at around the year 2000. I didn't like it.

The first time I know I heard the real deal was when I saw the video for paradise city in the fall of 2001. It really blew me away, it was the coolest thing I've heard (and seen) in my life, I taped it and watched it over and over again. Not long after that I bought appetite for destruction and was hooked.

How come everyone who is going to a show end up having a blast but the guys in the forum reading every time the same setlist is disapointed?

Guess what? U should be dissapointed for not attending a show. Songs arent played for you to enjoy at home. If youre tired of reading the same letters of a setlist in a forum, dont bother reading.

Shows arent made for forum users.

The rest of you going to a show, have a blast 🤘 (Setlist was awesome, u crazy)

Probably because an unchanged and predictable setlist makes it look like they aren't being creative. This makes it look like the reunion is solely a "money grab" instead of a band who enjoys playing together and change it up. I bet the shows are still good (attended one of them) but I guess people (including me) are worried that the creative magic (between the current big three) is gone and that the stale setlist attests for it.
