So I've read a lot of people claiming that the release of the book has been cancelled. I've tried to find more source by googling, to no avail. How do you know that the release has been cancelled?

The Last Dance.
Go for it. If you were born on the 80s or b4.
One of the best series I've seen the last years

Just listened to "you're crazy" from this show, loved the new arrangement. It sounded like it would fit on "Rocks" by Aerosmith.

Good for Matt, hanging on the GNR bandwagon is all this guy really has right now. If it wasnt for Slash, this guy would have 0 career.
Well, he could still be the drummer for The Cult.

Loved FFVII when I was a kid. Recently played it again, the blocky graphics doesn't bother me at all. Still a great game. I never liked FFVIII. The design, characters and shattered story didn't appeal to me. I haven't played any of the games after FFIX (which I love). The characters, story and design doesn't appeal to me at all, just seems bland and tacky.
My favorite of them all is FFVI, followed by FFVII and FFIX. The remake of VII seems ok, I guess. I still prefer the design of the original, the remake seems quite cheesy. The series never gained from using voice actors. Quite the contrary IMO.

This is just sad. Hopefully the fact that he is making this public will force Tyler & co to welcome him back to the band. It's not like the rest of them are 100 % in their recent performances either.

Oh man, I can't read about "parasitic needs" without thinking about a cheap punk named Warren Beatty.

Cheers! I was actually thinking of staying in either Camden or Shoreditch, you will probably know which is better?
No problem!
I used to live in hoxton, close to shoreditch. Great area, but Camden is also a lot of fun. I'd call it a draw.
Also a recommendation; if you like weird shit, there's a museum/absinthe bar in Hackney called "viktor wynd museum of curiosities". Among the curiosities: poo from Kylie Minogue in a jar and a gold enhanched hippopotamus skull that once belonged to pablo escobar. Great fun, especially if you're fucked on absinthe in the meantime.

Anybody know of the best area to stay in London? Wold be staying a few night and would also like to hit a few of the bars!! Any help would be really appreciated!!
I just moved from London a half year ago. There's loads of enjoyable pubs. My favourite is "the good mixer" in Camden. Lots of fun (and weird, but in a friendly and funny way) people there usually; all in all, a great "dive". A bonus is that the bar is also historical ground, Blur and Oasis (among others) used to party there in their heydays. "Karaoke hole" in dalston is also a fun place, if you like karaoke and drag queens in a packed, small place.

- Guns N' Roses are no longer a band. They are a brand.
- Rose (and sycophants) destroyed Guns N' Roses. He effectively destroyed his own band through being a complete arse.
- Izzy was the heart and soul of Guns N' Roses
- The skull artworks are embarrassing and make Guns look like a gormless heavy metal act.
- the ''trilogy'' music videos are excruciatingly embarrassing
- The NITLT is corporate crap.
- The sole reason Chinese took so long was Rose, and fans blaming Ezrin, RTB and all these (very talented and respected) industry people is fan myopia.
- 2001-2 were the only two interesting and exciting years of nugnr. Rose destroyed that band the same as he destroyed the old band.
These are quite "popular" opinions, at least on this forum.

The three meat puppets songs nirvana (and parts of the meat puppets) covered at MTV unplugged are far superior the originals IMO.

How popular was Def Leppard in NA? I was under the impression that they where on par with bon jovi, by that I mean not relevant today, but still extremely popular to a level that they should be able to sell out stadiums on their own. Educate me!

I know that I'd heard a band at my junior high school play sweet Child at around the year 2000. I didn't like it.
The first time I know I heard the real deal was when I saw the video for paradise city in the fall of 2001. It really blew me away, it was the coolest thing I've heard (and seen) in my life, I taped it and watched it over and over again. Not long after that I bought appetite for destruction and was hooked.

I don't think axl would give a rats ass about this guys "reaction" but the name Ken Tamplin (just the sound of it) sounds like a perfect name for axl to mention in a rant.
"this song is dedicated to a cheap punk named Ken Tamplin" etc.

It's a glorious mess. Axl needs some work on the timing.
Haha, so they haven't rehearsed this one at all (except the ending)?

Locomotive!!! It sounded pretty good, far from perfect, drums a bit rushed at times (and the alternative outro was so-so). Like many have said here, that song is "one tough cookie" to pull off so hats off for them for making the song justice.

How come everyone who is going to a show end up having a blast but the guys in the forum reading every time the same setlist is disapointed?
Guess what? U should be dissapointed for not attending a show. Songs arent played for you to enjoy at home. If youre tired of reading the same letters of a setlist in a forum, dont bother reading.
Shows arent made for forum users.
The rest of you going to a show, have a blast 🤘 (Setlist was awesome, u crazy)
Probably because an unchanged and predictable setlist makes it look like they aren't being creative. This makes it look like the reunion is solely a "money grab" instead of a band who enjoys playing together and change it up. I bet the shows are still good (attended one of them) but I guess people (including me) are worried that the creative magic (between the current big three) is gone and that the stale setlist attests for it.

BTW, I've just read that the book was co-written by two swedes. One of them (Martin Svensson) was a famous bubblegum pop singer in sweden during the late 90's- early 00's. A little bit of trivia for y'all.
Link to his most famous song (if you're interested):
