reportedly sometime right after BBF joined the band in May 2006, he received older demo tracks to lay his guitar over them. so the left channel is probably mid-2006, the right channel unknown, probably from Buckethead era.
Thanks. Just trying to put together my era specific CD mix.

Is there any consensus re: time period of silkworms/OMG leaks?

Kaneda 👏🏻
You hoarder dudes should send me Silkworms and Oh My God.
I’m a nice fella that’s why
I'd pay some serious money to get my hands on Oh My God.

axis vocals sound new??!!
I was going to question if the vocals and music is new or original takes? And when they were rumoured to be in the studio, was that for AFD as opposed new stuff?

Ain't Going Down is the instrumental version. Wonder if they're saving the one with vocals for later?
I was looking forward to the vocal version.

now is very important to us fans, to make positive coments, to help GNR feel more motivated, imagine they release more box sets, new album, a box set with 20 live cds... etc
Or a Chinese Democracy box set, virtual fist pump lol

Love Adler's drumming, so funky.
This has probably been discussed before, but are there any UYI demos with Adler floating around the internet?
-
Better than "the 2017 big 3" lol

Personally, I'm a bigger gnr fan than Oasis fan, and it's hard to rate music as it's subjective. However, it's hard to deny the fact that Neol has single-handedly written alot of great singles, and IMO, probably even more so than Gnr. And, no, I will not see Oasis if they reformed but quite happily travelled around the world to see Gnr many times.

Awesome, CDll, cant wait

to correct you - in the last 9 years (that is, since ChiDem was released), we only got one song (Going Down), a few remixes and this one old mix.
What remixes did we get other than DJ's better?

I was planning on listening anyway and this gives an added incentive.
Billy is an interesting cat.
He's very intelligent and I like the way he is able to articulate things, whether that be music/politics/or society as a whole. I find him quite fascinating

Hopefully they just rest and record. And I don't care whether it's Axl /dc, smkc or gnr. (gnr recording would be wishful thinking given Axl's productivity history).
I hope they don't keep on touring after the new dates as without a product they are turning into a nostalgic band as opposed to a relevant rock band which is becoming rare on the charts today

Personally, I want new music, and in my opinion, the nostalgic touring cheapens the brand, and catalogue. Even if one new song, whether new new music, or from CDll, was released once per year, it would add legitimacy to the tour and give the fan something to follow.
-
In my opinion, given Axl's history of releasing albums, I don't think we will get a GNR record any time soon.
It would be more realistic to expect a Axl/DC record, where Agnas is not a perfectionist and would not let Axl muck around for years with it and would just put out an album so he could have a product to tour with.

If ac/dc was going to finish when Brian couldn't sing anymore, Angus would have announced it when the bass player left the band after the tour. given no such announcement was made, IMO, ac/dc will continue. I believe that ac/dc generally like to tour a product, ie, release new music before they tour as opposed to gnr, who tours without any new product. So IMO, ac/dc will do a new album, and my money is on Axl singing given the success of recent tour. And someone said that the conspirators my reconvene in next 18 months, so this could be the time ac/dc drops new album. If not, dreams are free lol

I am technically challenged and found the quoting system beyond my capabilities, sorry in advance. Is the below poster even a lithograph? Got it from the VIP package

Rolling Stones Cuba doco- really well made

The Auckland Tour lithograph is 3d/hologramy. Gnr sign, then the blood spills on. I'd post a picture but don't know how
-
About 5 mins ago, the band just practiced estranged
-
Given the band are in Auckland I surmise this is the correct thread to post this.
I saw some gnr fans out-and-about in Auckland looking to meet the band/autograph hunters, and just wanting to know if any one succeeded?

which is diamond GA do you think?
Looked at Melissa's photo on page 5 again, and the VIP area up front is very small. I thought the diamond GA was the pit lol, and overpaid for my Auckland ticket

This is an amateur question, however, what versions if TWAT have buckethead on them apart from 1999 version?
