Would it be possible for someone from oz-tralia to call the radio station?

Hope they are coming to nz, I'd prefer not to fly to Sydney to see them lol

Isn't Axl/DC opening for Gnr tour?
-

Guns N' Roses are now a corporate 'legacy act' and have been for some time, well back into the 'nu' era. The idea of new music from this band should be consigned to the dust bin.
I held out hope that they would continue as a current band, in that, release new music and tour to support it, but unfortunately, I have to agree with you. I wish it weren't true tho

That's the main reason I want it to happen. Their boards will implode.
There's a thread going on over there where they're convinced that Axl is a major drug user and GNR had "one good album" and so on. It's hilarious. Think the atmosphere at this forum is crazy? The hardcore AC/DC fans bitch three times as much.
That's hilarious

At this point in 2016, I have learnt not to expect anything from Axl. So, the fact that he has reunited with slash makes me ecstatic (bring on the pit in Vegas), if they were to release any new music, even if it is Cd overdubs, it would be amazing, but once again, I'm not holding my breath lol

It will be funny to watch hundreds of Forum posters (many of whom bashed Fernando and Beta to no end) kiss his ass in person in hopes of meeting Axl. I think Fernando should give a meet and greet with Frank Ferrer to the fan who has flown the furthest to attend the gigs.
Ok. Who's Fernando, beta, and jarmo? Sorry in advance if this question is obvious and a bit simple

Hey! Since the meetup has grown into this huge thing I won't be having a room party. Maybe next time

This is granted I
A. Get a room instead of splitting with someone on here
And
B. My friends are cool with it
I'd totally get everyone some beer though from the liquor store! Maybe we could split some pizzas too!
Definitely keen zosorose. I'll split the beer cost with you

woooohooooooooo, got mine.
Just wondering about the Silver pass, early entry. Has anyone received any info about it, i.e., how much earlier entry to the venue is it?
Who has the Silver pass for General Admission, 9 April?

Im getting stick from my mates for going on my own. Its certainly a ballsy move, but i love GNR, its my thing and this experiance doesn't come around often.
It probably wont live up to the hype but ill have a great time none the less.

Totally agree, nothing wrong with that, I'm flying this one solo too, only due to mates not having the money to fly from NZ.
Going to vegas as I was not sure the band would ever make it to NZ. And, I wanted to do one last rock 'n roll trip before I settle down with a mortgage around my neck (so to speak), and The Darkness are playing the following week which makes it an added bonus, and i have a VIP meet and greet pass. I am going to love vegas lol

Apocolyptic Love, crazy life, or ghost.
I know this is off topic, and in the wrong discussion, but i feel that the ghost song could almost benefit from a 'steven' swing beat to it.

Give my excitement of the gnr shows, I'm spinning Alice in chains best of non stop. Amazing, don't know why I havn't gotten into them earlier

Why? It seems like a fairly standard ballad. Not arguing, just curious why you would describe that song as an Axl "epic."
I think its 'epic' because of the cleverly layered, almost ostentatious instrumentation, and the melody.

Got sliver pass for the second night, front of stage here we come

In my opinion, I think they were the biggest band in the world during the illusion era. This is based on media coverage, record sales, and concert ticket sales. This is notwithstanding the fact that the music genre in vogue during the illusion era was grunge, ie nirvana and the accompanying seatlle sound, and yet sold a double album that reached no. 1&2 on the billboard charts

No. People paid lots of money for these tickets. Most of us are too old for a riot. Also, many of the people there will be Vegas high rollers who get comp tickets, they are there to see WTTJ and SCOM,not to be involved in a riot.
Yeah I agree, the fan demographic is different these days

What "epic" type songs were on CD?
Prostitute

Love the idea of having a trilogy of ballads, very cool, bordering on genius material
-
The only CD songs I think they'll play are TIL, CD and Madagascar.
In my opinion the setlist will heavily revolve around AFD, although, personally I'd like to see a lot of UYI stuff like, Locomotive, Breakdown, Get In The Ring, Pretty Tired Up, Back Off Bitch, and RNDTH.

I want pit tickets, however now that oz is announced and not NZ, i know I need to get in quick and I'm unsure if I should buy Sydney tickets, or wait for the Nz announcement, (if Nz is even going to be announced at all),???????
