I've kept my word for years not to discuss and i'm sticking to that in the hope I an one day get more if it isn't released. All I will say is that Axl was right when he said "If you liked Chinese you'll like this" and it would be a crime of some kind if his other stuff didn't come out.

No disrespect dude but you know how easy it is to claim that over the internet without any valid proof of ownership, right?

Axl Rose — a small, hopeful example for our fractured nation?

When Guns N’ Roses releases its “Appetite for Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded” box set next month, one notable — and notorious — track will be missing: “One In A Million.”

Written by Axl Rose, the band’s mercurial lead singer, that 1988 song denounced African-Americans, immigrants, and gay men in derogatory terms. At the time, Rose defended the song, saying his beliefs about these maligned groups justified his excoriation of them.

Now that song, practically a Trump supporter’s anthem, will remain an ugly relic from the era of Reaganomics and Jheri curls.

    Oh, good grief!!

  3. I just think the actual joke was incredulously lame from a humor point of view, not just because it involved Axl. If they made a joke or cutaway about how he’s always late or never releases music in a satiric way I’d have gotten a chuckle out of that, but the joke just seemed to fall right past me in this episode.

I'm not sure it is about age. There are guys who are still hot at that age and look amazing. But I also don't know why is Axl the 'parameter' of ugly these days?

Maybe we're too old and we're not mixing in groups where Axl's looks are being talked about or he is regarded as the ugliest man on earth.... are we missing something here?

    It's got me thinking now....

And he doesn't even look bad in those photos. I'd still think the joke would be stupid if they chose say, RIR '11 photos, but at least I'd kind of understand where they're coming from. He looks like an ordinary every day 55-year old guy in the photos they chose.

    :shrugs:

Apparently, some people think his looks are repulsive nowadays.

I still don't get it. He's not prince charming or anything, but for christ's sake, he's 55-56 in these photos! Maybe I'm just getting too old for this show's shock humor :shrugs:

  6. I'm not offended by the joke, I'm not Axl and I'm not related to him. I just think it was incredibly unfunny and a cheap shot. What's the joke here? Axl looks like a girl? Not...really? Is it an inside joke by the producers? Do they have something against him?

Oh and I'm actually a huge fan of American Dad, so it's not a biased view or anything. I genuinely think there was no purpose to this "joke".

  7. >everyone complains about Chinese material being the core focus of GNR since ‘98 and how they’d hate the idea of hearing anything else from the CD era in favor of appetite era stuff

    >new appetite era single is released with a new box set coming out with over 40 unreleased tracks from the era

    >everyone still complains

Guns are in a lose lose situation. Whatever they do, they’ll piss off someone.
