Melissa just needs to get jacked on sugar and commit to learning the harmonica. #powerpose #bossbish #gratitude, harmonica emoji, photo of sexy lipstick stain on harmonica, paid links to lip stick site, sponsored link to harmonica site, #tourlife #obsession #snickers
That’d be so #dope #lit and #rad!

Probably exactly what you just posted- give or take a bass player because at this point even though you may be right, it’s still speculation.

Get real guys. There’s not going to be a new Guns record anytime soon so if your a fan of any of these musicians, be happy for their solo projects since your not likely going to be hearing anything from their main band any time soon.

Happy for those 5 Gilby Clarke fans.

Neat. I love me some Weird Al. My last vacation the in flight entertainment had a music section and the only album of any notable worth was his most recent one. Listened to it 5-6 times over a four hour flight

Seems like it was a touching funeral for a life that will surely be missed.
Also, it’s interesting that both Brian and Angus came to this. I wonder if they’re on better terms than we think.

That interview just shows that Axl still just couldn't accept responsibility for anything.. The biggest complaint I hear about UYI's is the over production and corny layers and over dubs. That was all him.. Hardly ever if at all do you hear anyone bitch about the drums.. It also shows that it was all about him as the band was obviously happy with the drumming situation.. Slash and Duff continued to work with Matt for decades between VR and Neurotic Outsiders..
People may have their favorite songs, and it may be on "Use Your Illusion," but most people do tend to lean towards "Appetite" as being the defining Guns N' Roses record, and I can hear how, in the sound, it was moving away from that there. There's just so much I was able to do in keeping that aspect together."
Isn't it Axl that wanted to bury Appetite? Every interview I ever read from any member of the band and everything I witnessed as a fan eluded to Axl being the one responsible for them moving farther and farther away from being what they were during the Appetite Era.. CD shows that even more. The dude is still on another planet.
I wish he would put his money where his mouth is and release another album in the vein of Appetite to bookend their career. Unfortunately with all the focus on CD and the half ass lineup, if there was another album it would probably be more like CD than anything.
Crazy right? Frank is freaking brutal.. I also recall an interview where Axl was saying how outdated and 80's the drums on Appetite were.
No disrespect but one common criticism I see of The Illusions, mostly from the casual-reviewer type, is that Sorum’s drums on the illusion records are too clangy and don’t sound right- in the preference of what I assume people wished was Adler. I disagree though and like Sorum’s drumming. Anything is better than Frank on the drums, which I can’t for the life of me understand why Axl likes him on the kit...he’s not a bad technical drummer but does weird things on the drums and his tone is putrid in my opinion.

Rewatching it I didn’t think it was that bad...but then again my standard of bad has evolved into Rio 11, Rio 17, Bridge School, etc...so I mean, take that with a grain of salt.

I'm not sure I'd want to hear breakdown in falsetto
I would still want to hear it in Axl’s current voice just to hear the song and for the band to give it some love

My personal wish is Breakdown. I’m probably the biggest fan of that song on the forum...if Coma and Prostitue can come back from the dead then I’d pray Breakdown could as well.

I don't really think it's as ignored as people make it sound on the forum, there's usually 7- 8 songs from the albums being played a night which is on par with Appetite and is more than what they play off of Chinese. If you include LALD and KOHD as UYI then that's 9-10 songs a night

TWAT is in Eb to my ears. At least i played in that tuning.
Everything else i agree.
Think I have to disagree, I played TWAT in standard tuning the other night and it sounded much better to me that way.

That Madgascar gave me goosebumps...holy crap...

I had no idea that Axl released a solo album. I thought that he is still on tour with GN'R?
I’d love to hear an Axl solo album. Axl has stated in interviews that if he were to make one it’d be much more instrumental than anything he’s ever released and would be along the lines of a movie soundtrack. I hope after he finishes touring with GNR and making an album with AC/DC he has time to make one.

Sad since I live near LA but couldn’t afford to go to this show. Hope everyone has a wicked time tonight though

It wanted to make a list with the discography of every former and present GN'R member. I had to stop at some point because it was to much
I’m guessing Buckethead made the list a near novel, no?

That This I Love solo was much better! Slash barely noodled and played a nice and emotional solo. A year ago it was as he was trying to be Buckethead during that part. Now Finck still has the superior solo for this song but I'm glad I can now rank Slash's above Ashba's...

Dizzy gets the job done in my opinion. I really love the songs he added piano to on both the Illusions and CD but a majority of the piano on those records was Axl.
Cant stand the guys backing vocals though

Do you mind posting a pic of the shirt? I’d like to see it and consider picking one up

I think put Dizzy in this poll not is more what joke ,my 2 cent's 😑
Oh I know it was a joke, I was just curious though

It’s a pretty subjective thing to be quite frank so I’m not sure. I guess Slash since that’s a friendship that’s remained intact since the 80’s?
Is Dizzy close with any of the band? Do Slash and Duff ever hang out with him or anything? Dizzy has always had a weird relationship with the band, even in the early 90’s

Discussion: What's the most realistic line-up for a new AC/DC album

Very true, an exact reason why they would hire someone they already have worked with.
