Like they had tech issues so they played the first chord of TWAT, and everyone in the comments was upset they didn’t get the full song lol

Gotta say, I was reading the comments for the livestream as the show was going on and I saw a lot of people really happy and excited for each CD song (I am able to read Spanish to an extent). When TWAT was teased for a second the YouTube comments seemed damn agitated. Maybe this tour is giving Axl the closure he wants, with acceptance and love existing now for Chinese Democracy.

I respect your posts and appreciate the work you've done in terms of GN'R multishows, but I have to respectively completely disagree here. I can't see them writing new music together. I think they were just jamming.

So I guess this is really the end of the tour (although they are doing a festival run in mid 2018). The band seems to be treating it as one and for me personally it feels like the end of the tour. Similiar to how the end of 2010 and then 2011 were part of the same tour but felt like completely different ones.

Axl considers it a demo which is why I even brought up that notion.

I don’t consider Oh My God a demo since it was legitimately released as a single, which makes whatever version we got technically the release. Maybe I’m just too technical though.

Very interesting @RONIN. I guess you could make the arguement that Brain is still technically in the band.

Nothing of any note will actually happen. It’ll be a blank period where we get no news of anything that’s happening, occasionally there will be a random tweet from Guns or Axl unrelated to what’s actually happening. There will be Axl/DC and SMKC and Guns will probably be in a blank, going nowhere state like it was after ‘93 except this time it may not get picked up again. 

Maybe they don’t want to work together for the exact reason that broke them up in the 90’s- they can’t agree on a musical style and they not want to compromise their friendships again?
