  1. Isn't it weird we almost saw Slash and Pitman on the same stage together? I'm glad he got fired, he was a total tool and acted like he played an essential part in making GN'R what it was.

"I quit the cash-grab tour because they just wanted to play the old songs and I have integrity as an artist" inb4 touring Chinese Democracy with the band for 13 years...

  2. This interview is going to be strictly for promotional purposes, we aren't going to hear anything too spectacular or unknown. I think it's just going to be about the upcoming South American Leg just to sell more tickets. Still, really badass to see Duff and Axl on the same couch officially being interviewed, this is the first time in what, 24(+) years?

  3. I was there last night, the band was on fire! Highlights for me were Yesterdays (was not expecting that) and Catcher, one of my favorite CD ballads. From their usual setlist Coma and Estranged ruled. Estranged gave me goosebumps. Slash's solo into Sweet Child was also amazing. The crowd seemed very dead during the CD songs, but I was jamming . Out Ta Get Me in my opinion sounded better than the original record, Axl was hitting high notes like no other. The ISE intro was badass with the fireworks. I went with people who weren't a fan of the band and they thought the drumming was great, so the Frank bashing has less merit in my eyes now. I was having such a fun time and it was really impressive, I usually hate KOHD and "The Zika" but I had fun with those also. This I Love sounded like the studio version. Overall, the band was amazing. 10/10.

  4. Inspired by the "Openers other than It's So Easy" thread, what do you guys think a great show closer would be? I love Paradise City but not the way the current band plays it. The tempo is wrong, Axl sings over the solo and gets the whistle song, etc...what do you think? Keep Paradise City or should there be a different show closer? I would personally think either Locomotive or Breakdown would be a great stage closer but hey, that's not going to happen any time soon is it?

  5. 1.) There Was a Time

    2.) Madagascar

    3.) Prostitute

    4.) Catcher In The Rye

    5.) Better

    6.) This I Love

7.) Chinese Democracy (Never understood the hate for this one)

    8.) Street of Dreams

    9.) I.R.S.

    10.) Sorry

11.) Shackler's Revenge (Never was a fan of the guitar solo)

    12.) If The World

    13.) Scraped

    14.) Riad n' The Bedouins

Absoloutely love Chinese Democracy. One of the most fascinating pieces of music history in my opinion, nothing exists like it. Definitely not Guns n' Roses except in name, but still a legendary, grand, genius album which only Axl could've thought of.

  6. I think what'll they'll do is tour until mid 2017, release a Greatest Hits/Best of/Live DVD that winter. Then in 2018-2019 release a new album or EP, or hell even just a new single, almost strictly so they have an excuse to tour and continue the money flow. Of course they have fun performing but we can agree that a chunk of the incentive was the money. After the 2018-2019 album and tour I think there will be another farewell tour in 2020-2022 and that'll be the legacy of GN'R.

That's realistically what I see happening and what I also hope happens.
