Ok 180 plus tax so closer to $200 for 4 cds ,a book and blu ray audio disc? Easy pass for me but I don't begrudge anyone what they spend their money on.
My order total $192.46 AUD includes delivery so not sure. Hope it has the 4 discs plus a picture of Rocket Queen's tits.

Who will be the first fan to call Amazon and complain that for $180 they are only getting CDS and a book and not the GNR rings and other gadgets?
I'll just cancel it once I'm sure. Then again the $180 will not be for just 4 cds.
Bonfire is like $60 for example & $100 here at JB Hi Fi.

Basically the point I'm getting at is that there are 22 ''unreleased tracks'' on the cds that are not on Sessions N' More (if we are to assume the stuff on the LPs is on the cds). This is very curious. It leads me to believe there might be something very interesting on those cds.
The problem is, 'unreleased' may not be 'unheard'. Even Appetite & Lies sessions combined did not have another 22 tracks 'unheard'. Illusions maybe.

Just preordered on amazon, if I have to I'll cancel it

Hey guys, I don’t usually post, but wanted to give some real fans a head’s up. The Super Deluxe Edition is up on Amazon for $179.00 (as preciously posted). I strongly recommend pulling the trigger NOW bc they will honor the price. Amazon did this same thing with a Stones vinyl box that came out (it was listed at the exact same price -$179.00 via preorder). You can always cancel if they try to weasel out of it. Better than paying $650 (hope it’s not that much anyway).
It may be a different box set? Stripped down for $180

Presumably the compact discs gather together the contents of the LPs.
It is strange this,
- ''4 cds, 73 tracks, 49 unreleased''.
- ''3 LP Sound City Demos N' More. 25 unreleased songs from the 1986 sessions''.
That would leave 24 unreleased songs that are not from the 1986 sessions?
Because Patience is also included then it is probable that Lies sessions are there also

I would be happy with this. Hopefully it is produced standalone from this boxset.
OK I'm going to say it, I don't particularly like Shadow. It is not in the same league of other Appetite songs.

Yes & they include a pubic hair from each band member

That is everything we ever could have hoped for. They obviously put some thought and planning into this and personally I think it's awesome for them to obviously sit down and look back on what they did and what they have to put out - even if, shockingly, we're going to have to spend money on it.
Don't care I am still going to buy it because when I am too old to care this album will still be the greatest rock album of all time

This is all stuff we head though, I don't know "The Plague" but the rest is all stuff we have, right? Hopefully better quality.
Yes agree, feels very much Backtracks ACDC which has a lot of 'other' versions of songs. All in all there may only be a small handful of stuff we don't know.

Probably the one we get in the video, yeah? It sounds like it fits straight into Appetite.
Interesting patience is there also??

Anyone have a guess at what the 2 unreleased tracks from the Mike Clink sessions would be?
A version of Shadow was unreleased

Yes but is this the $180 version or the $650 version Gibbo mentioned?
Here in OZ, $650.00. Backtracks Deluxe was $300 & has much less.

At this point I believe the original 5 could come to all of our homes and slip us a new album and a hooker and there would still be something to complain about. Like why didn't Adler get to talk more or why are there only 12 songs on the new album or why was the hooker blonde?
Yep, can't please everybody. Hopefully somebody filmed Rocket Queen & that is included.

It's going to be a remastered and extended re-release, possibly up to 4 CD's or 8 vinyl's long, which would obviously include some vault or live rarities, and people are mad about it because it either costs too much or it's not a new album from the current line up which they also don't like.
So nobody's happy! I'll take either as I only like Appetite for Democracy for the dancing girls.

I have it on what I thought was an official LP of some sort.. I think it was Shadows/It's So Easy one side and Move to The City/Brownstone on the other.. Maybe a different combination same songs... Got it before LIES came out I think.. Also didn't Guns release it as a B Side for an Illusions single too?

I believe they live era-id it to an extent, not the whole thing.
Some parts, including Axl's vocals sound way too modern, but theres no way to know it until its released.
Geez, you guys are good, I have played the L&LD version & Easy Version & I can't tell. I think you're right, touched it up but no 'new' parts. Why Shadow? Why not something different like 'the plague'?

This is most likely what will happen.
i am bitter though that is not truly an unreleased tune. Hollywood Rose ruined it.
Is it definitely rerecorded with the current band?
