He could, but look at what they put out after he was in the band. Its not like they were cranking out the hits anymore, and you see how often The Cult plays... not too much
They still have a strong fanbase and arent living as a nostalgia act at least.
Theres something to enjoy at every Cult album.

Im glad ozzy didnt. Sick of zakks playing because all you hear is pinch harmonics. Every note or riff has a pinch harmonic after it. Fuckin annoying.
As much as i respect the randy roads years, jake e lee is the man.
Its the exact opposit for me, Zakk has his own thing at least. Zakk being back on Ozzys band and not being on the album is a total deal breaker to me.
Its kind of the same as Slash being back in GNR and Axl asking some turd like Bumblefoot to record a possible new GNR album.- 3

Album leaked, it’s really good but overproduced.
Did any of the songs feature Zakk?
Its beyond me how could Ozzy release an album and didnt ask Zakk to record a single solo at this point lol

As for whether Izzy is important to the dynamics of the band when it comes to releasing albums: No. At least not if we look back at the process of releasing the UYIs. At that time Izzy was more or less absent and Slash had to almost drag songs out of him. The rest of the band had to do everything. And they managed, barely. So I would say they got the records out despite Izzy, more than because of Izzy.
Well, even if Izzy wasnt there for the production of the records, he still helped to writte most of the UYI songs, after they had the goods, it was easy to just go and produce them. Would UYIs be half as good had Izzy left straight after the release of Lies and didnt help on the writting for UYIs?

Voted for Prom Violence as its riff is the only from the instrumental suff that stuck in my head and had me wishing to listen to it again and again. Fantastic riff.

I got a total disdain for Duff as I started to follow him again when he got back in the fold. The guy absolutely grew a pussy.
I have no opinion on Slash really, I still like him for what he does outside GNR, I still like his instrumental tracks aside the total dislike for Myles voice. Id totally buy inatrumental versions of his SMKC albuns.

A shame of a band but it is what it is.

Happy birthday, thanks for the tinniest catalog a band can have in a 35 years career.

One thing that I wonder..... Slash is a creative, productive guy - and always has been. He writes all the time, including on the road. Axl is the opposite, as we all know.
So let's imagine Slash has been writing some stuff for the last year or two, and that some of it is decent. What happens to it? Does he give it to GNR, knowing it might never get out to the fans? And meaning his work with Myles Kennedy is just the left over crap that GNR doesn't want?
Or does he give it to GNR knowing that if it ever gets made and released, Axl and Duff can probably take it to another level completely?
What would you do???I dont think Slash is in a similar contract as the Axl band, where everything produced automatically becames property of GNR. He probably presents ideas, bu I doubt he will just keep waiting for Axl, at some point it will probably be a Snakepit situation all over again. Slash will record his stuff and then Axl will call him asking about the songs and he’ll be like “Dude, I recorded those 15 years ago with Myles”

Ritchie Kotzen just released 50 new tracks on his 50th birthday. He's a real musician and artist though.
Richie is great, saw him with the Dead Daisies a couple of years ago. The guy is in a different dimension from GNR.

I feel bad for Slash for having to deal with these kinds of leechs, Duff grew a pussy and is probably fine with anything as long it doesnt hurt anyones feelings (but the fans of gnr) but Slash could be doing something interesting hadnt he returned to GNR.
I kind of understand why he seems so bored and uninterested live, how can anyone be genuinely interested in something like what Gnr become lol
Never tought Id want to see Slash out of GNR lol

Considering how Vince Neil sounds nowadays, I would say Pearl Jam fans are happiest lol
Oh yeah, we can make this comparison with pretty much any band and GNR would look bad.
Who cares how popular Crue is, in the end everything comes to the music and Crue is releasing, PJ is releasing, GNR is the only actual nostalgia trip around.

Motley Crue released more material being inactive than Guns N Roses in the past 20 years of activity.
Guess whos fanbase is happier.

If this "Next Chapter" is just more touring without a product, that's really sad. Have they no integrity? So frustrating
We all know they dont

In 2020 i strongly believe all the “Axl was recording stuff” was purely damage control. The guy probably had some fire between 1998-2002 but then everything start to fall apart for him and his vision and everything got canned.
This band is over creatively.

Its a bootleg, we need to put this thing down!!!11!1

Whats with the “all new show” thing? Did I miss anything?
if its legit then how can they do an “all new show”? These fat cunts doesnt have enough songs for an “all new show” lol

Oh boy, pages and pages of speculations about record contracts when its clean as day the only thing preventing a release is mickey mouse.

Oh boy, grotta know what Hansi has to say about GNR!
Blind Guardian is one of those metal bands that got my attention early on as I was obsessed with Tolkien (and still im).

What if GNR never split up and released 5 or 6 albums ?
