I loathe this band sometimes. And it's all Axl and/or management.

Duff puts out new music and promotes. Slash puts out new music and promotes.

GNR? Nothing. And never talk about what's going on with the band. OK, cool.

But yesterday is a perfect example of GNR triggering me. It was MLK day. I had a short 8-second video of my dog on my Instagram, and I wanted to use eight seconds of "Madagascar" part with MLK for my video. But GNR, unlike almost every other band that exists right now, removed their songs from Instagram, TikTok, etc. So people can't use a few second clips to play over their photos or videos. How shortsighted is this? I mean, literally memes are created these days on TikTok and IG with short clips of new or old music. Songs have gotten popular because of this. Yet GNR is like, "Nah, let's remove all our music from social media platforms." Same shit they do with the youtube live video takedowns.

For what it's worth. Duff and Slash have their new music on social media.

Dude, the situation is so fucked up that last year I did an Izzy speed art and uploaded to youtube and IGTV with an Izzy song, and the song was removed from both

I really don't get the love for State Of Grace, I can't hear Slash doing anything on that song. Not in a million years.

I'm not a fan of Slash doing CD songs either, it's not up his alley at all.

The one leak I feel like it could be a true GN'R song is Oklahoma. I'm not saying all leaks sucked, not at all. But I can't imagine Slash on any of it.

So I really want to hear what the next album would bring, if there even will be an album.

I can see Slash doing something with Perhaps, theres a nod to Estranged on its guitars but without Slash, that could never work.

  3. The thing with Hardschool isnt even the ammount of words on it, its a moody song compared to Paradise City that has a very “party” feling overall with an iconic and catchy intro and chorus and a fantastic outro. I dont think we can compare these songs at all.

The chorus on hardschool is great and kinda catchy, but it needs a complete revamp on the intro and verses to get there. Intro and verses are uninteresting at best.

I've not heard the leaks, I just saw people on Discord talking but was not sure of the list. The General sounds quite dated, I'm not sure if that was one of the songs, and I'm not sure how it would translate to 2020. Same with Atlas, sounds like a 90s song

Unless they go Ozzys recent way doing a collab with someone like post Malone on a trap/pop song, anything they do will be dated. Rock is grandpas music bro.

That's a matter of personal taste. I'd take his solo work and his work in Sons of Apollo over anything Slash has done post-Guns.

Aside both Snakepits, none of them can produce a good album to save their lifes.

These days Slash doesnt show skills nor emotion or creativity. But Id still take him anyday over BBF cause he did great in the past, Slash was one of the guys that made me get into guitar. I wonder if BBF inspired anyone

God, seeing all the disbelief among hardcore fans like us makes me want them to surprise us with an album that much more.  Literally no one is really expecting them to make good on a release.  But it would fucking blow minds all over the place if they did.

We all want a new album, but aft er 10 years of false promisses we do our best to not get our hopes up.

the more you climb, the worse the fall.

If there's going to be an official announcement for a new album, it's certainly not going to come from Fortus.

If they’re really serious about this lineup and will actually release something in the future, I could see Axl putting Fortus to hold a press conference just to legitimate his position even more. People say Axl is loyal and Fortus is on the band for 300 billion years more than Slash after all.

Same as if Axl changed his name to Bon Jovi.

Thats not SO bad actually, if you have an open mind, theres always something to enjoy on a Bon Jovi album. Have they survived to release five great hard rock albuns and turned into something close to what Bon Jovi did in the 90s and 00s Id be totally fine.

oh, theres also Aerosmith that did great pop rock stuff in the 90s and 00s, always with a hard rock gem between all the I dont wanna miss a things.

  9. Ive got all their studio albums on CD and then got it on vinyl (minus CDem) when I started to built a vinyl collection. Also have the Tokyo gigs on VHS and DVD.

Went to some concerts, never been much into merch.

Id like to get some bootlegs I like on vinyl someday, but these are extremely expensive on my country so it may take a while.

Guess I wont have anything official to spent my money on GNR so..
