This album is insanely good.
Once again, Nothing In Return is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I don't say that often, but this album has had that much of an impact.
Down are back, and thank God they are.

Cannot wait for this release.

Incredible band. Their sound is great. Empire is truly one of my favourite 90s albums. Hopefully we'll see their new album out by next summer. Apparently it is another themed album.
-
Awesome band. Can't wait for the new album.

Root Beer Rag by Billy Joel.

tom araya. best metal voice ever
Actually, probably the worst metal vocals ever.

Tom Waits.

i saw rush sept 7 in milwaukee we were treated to close to 3 hours of pure musical excellence!! I could only summize as satisfaction from a performance well done,
Set 1: Entre Nous, Freewill ,Secret Touch, Circumstances, & the Larger Bowl
Set 2: I have absolutely no doubt that the material from Snakes & Arrows not only delivers on CD, but live it is taken to a whole higher level. It was powerful, moving, and beautifully magic. Armor & Sword was a higlight. Neil really excels on this album. Natural Science, Witch Hunt, & Malnar - what a consecutive trio that was. Neil's solo - what else can you say, but holy you know what. From my vantage point dead center in row 25, it is funny to see how everyone's cell phone cameras were lit up capturing the moments!! The Spirit of Radio was intense. The trio of encores was as lound and thunderous as I have ever heard. Alex & Geddy were all over the stage playing to opposite ends of the venue.
Great show, great crowd, great visuals, great weather, . I'll never get tired of this. Thank you Alex, Geddy, Neil, and the entire crew for special memories. As long as the fire still burns, please keep recording & touring.
I found that The Main Monkey Business was one of the greatest songs of the night because it sounded so fresh live.

2112 is amazing, and so is Snakes & Arrows for that matter.
Rush have always been able to pull off 2112 flawlessly live, whether it's on All The World's A Stage or Different Stages. They do play a bit of 80s material on the new tour, but since I love 80s Rush, I'm fine with it. The intro to Subdivisions shook the whole arena, sheesh. I'm just in love with 80s Rush, and they played some of my favourite 80s songs during the show I went to. Songs like Witch Hunt, Digital Man, Subdivisions, Between the Wheels, etc. Completely underrated Rush songs, IMO.

Awesome albums. Although, they would've benefitted from less filler, but songs like The Outlaw Torn and Fixxxer blow anything on TBA away.

Aerosmith are so talentless along with all the other american boybands like nine inch nails, they call themselves hard rock when all I hear in their music are rants about former girlfriends, cliche love songs and mild homosexual frustrations ("anger").
--- I listen to bands that play at a heavier, faster and more melodic scale and the lyrics are brilliant. Don't give me the "O HERE IS X SONG ITS VERY GOOD LISTEN" - I won't change my mind, I've heard it all before.

OK someone told me to list my bands so whatever:
Kalmah
Dispatched
Mors Principium Est
Gates of Ishtar
Emperor
Mayhem
Hecate Enthroned
Graveworm
Anorexia Nervosa
Rotting Christ
Wintersun
Nightrage
Skyfire
Dark Tranquility
Insomnium
Catamenia
Omnium Gatherum
Amon Amarth
That's just a grain of salt --- I don't feel like listing 100+ bands so... pick ANY band and listen for a song or two --- yes im saying those "unheard of nameless bands" have more talent than aerosmith and nine inch nails.
Sorry, but Wintersun is the only decent band you mentioned. Besides, how can people prove you wrong if you won't listen to any songs? You're an idiot.
Most of your bands have the same amount of talent as a 2 year old with a kazoo.

I highly doubt a tour will happen, but I'm glad they're doing at least one show. If a tour happens, I'll blow several loads. However, I just don't see that anytime soon.

Rush - Counterparts.

Ozzy-Fucking-Osbourne
Over-Fucking-Rated
Couldn't have put it any better. Even in Sabbath, it was mostly Iommi. Iommi doesn't get the credit he deserves.

I sort of feel bad for Sebastian. His buddy, whose ass he constantly kisses, will sing on his album but than he won't let Sebastian use the song as a radio edit. We all know that Sebastian's single would get significantly more airplay with Axl on it, and I think it's pathetic that Axl won't let him use it as a radio edit. This is just another example of Axl's control issues I guess. In closing I'll be the first to admit I was completely wrong if the Axl version surfaces today but it's not looking too likely now.
You're an idiot. Since you know everything Axl's apparently "doing," then tell us how CD is coming along. Or ask Bach for that matter.
Either you're being extremely sarcastic, or you're just stupid.

I've already seen Down, Megadeth, and Black Sabbath (Yes, I call them that). I saw Billy Joel in May, and I'm pumped for my Rush concert on the 12th of September - Neil Peart's birthday!

The Eagles. Skynyrd is just stale.

...
Down III?
As in Phil Anselmo from Pantera.
The song I Scream fucking rocks. I'm holding off on listening to the rest of the album until it comes out, just like I did with Libertad.
I Scream is a killer tune. I'm also holding off. Though, I've heard the start of N.O.D., and it sounds like a mix of NOLA and II so far. That's a good thing for me.

Good. He needs The E Street Band back after the God-awful Devils & Dust.

'Down III - Over the Under' will be the best metal release of 2007.
September 25.
Plus, Metallica, Judas Priest, and Anthrax will be lucky to have their albums done by 2008's start. However, that leaves some damn good albums for 2008. Queensrÿche will release their new album in 2008, so I'm excited for that.
Hopefully the new Testament and Exodus albums will be released before 2008. Then you have 2 more contenders.

One of the best albums ever. It sounds nothing like The Beatles, so comparisons are pretty much useless.
-
Subdivisions by Rush.

Alexander. Easily. RATAM is still great, though.
Brendan O'Brien is the worst producer working today

Libertad sucked because the songs blew.
