They're both great at what they do seen both a handful of times in their primes and both within the last 10 days .Truly unfair to compare with axl being hobbled but Bruce has manic energy on stage and really gets the crowd going.Vocally i still choose Axl
-
Seen them both less then a week apart and live vocally Axl sounds better but man can Bruce work a crowd I thought the Forum's walls were going to crumble a couple times Friday night ,great show ,great frontman

I try and see an arena act as often as I band I like rolls into town ,and to my ears Axl holds up just fine compared to others live and exceeds most.

I would be happy with any new music I could care less what album is titled .

While I tend to agree that the Vegas shows were somewhat tame and in general fans at concerts are not as rabid since the cell phone Era of recording shows began I went to Iron Maiden last night at Forum and the crowd was absolutely electric from start to finish

To me in sounds like tour is selling well with exception of Pitt,Kanas City and maybe Arizoan and Cleveland .16 out of 20 cities isn't that bad.Seen Sabbath a couple months ago at LA Forum place was jam packed they sold a tad over 14 thousand seats. If they were to play LA say Dodger Stadium it would take 3 nights at Forum to fit in as many people as 1 night in Forum. With the prices the promoters are paying the band per show unfortunately a stadium tour which I despise Stadium shows is the only way to go for them .Seen them in Vegas got a few friends making trek to San Diego a bunch that would go if they play LA I am on the fence even though I thought they sounded really good in Vegas

New music with Izzy.Would love to see if they recapture some of the magic that made their music so special and timeless

I personally thought he sounded very good and actually great at times Saturday night. The man is in his mid 50's and the band played for nearly 3 hours.I usually try to go to a show at least every few months and if I think about some of the bands I've seen in last couple years his vocal performance exceeds every lead singers imo.Seen U2 ,Stones,Metellica, RHCP and while all those bands singers sounded good Axl sounded better to me.Only maybe Eddie Vedder was more on with Pearl Jam then Axl the other night.Vince Neil and David Lee Roth sounded downright awful when I seen Motley Crue and VH recently

Yeah last night was the best I've heard them sound, incredible.Seen them twice afd,and twice on illusions and just wow last night left me somewhat pleasantly suprised and how well they sounded. For those that knock Axl's voice, idk I thought he sounded great and the man is his mid 50's and he sang his assistant off for nearly 3 hours

Couldn't agree more about late starts killing the energy of show.I was at LA Forum show be yore the Illusions were released and we waited for 3 hours after Skid a row left the stage.Just about every one was sitting during show.I remember thinking how tight they sounded and being blown away by hearing some new material for first time but also thinking how much better show would've been if they started at a respectable time

This.Tour seems like a big payday for the boys and then they're out.Could of easily used the 2 months off between Cochella and the start of summer tour to work on new music get tighter as a band instead Axl will be out in front of ACDC .Not really optimistic in regards to any new music. They've put 4 full length albums of original material in 30 years (well at least Axl)
