  1. The only 2 bands I can think of off the top of my head are The Lumineers and Bastille .A band who I think discography is very impressive and came out post 2000 and who are incredible live is Rise Against .I haven't seen them mentioned on here at all but if they're in town and your debating whether or not to go ,go.They are about to release a new album in June and tour dates have already been annnounced

  2. Being that I was once a huge fan that had seen them  a handful of times during the Afd/UYI era's I was pretty excited a year ago when the semi reunion was announced .Seen them in Vegas kind of was  just ok ,hard when your frontman is sidelined like Axl was.So I went again when they came around to Dodger Stadium and glad I did ,the show kicked ass .Will I see them again? Most likely no.Too many other good bands who still put out new music and whose tickets are much cheaper .

  3. For me personally I never thought Axl sounded "great" live .I've seen Guns n Roses live 7 times over the years ,5 times during afd/uyi years and twice recently .While I thought he sounded passable to good recently I also think some of us have a little revisionist history when we talk about their prime years .I for one was never blown away by his voice live .He has always been somewhat inconsistent (like most rock and roll singers live )to my ears .As a frontman while highly energetic at times manic on stage I still prefer someone who engages with the crowd more then he does at live shows .Eddie Vedder ,Bono and Bruce Dickinson are 3 guys who I think are better frontman :singers just off the top of my head of people I've seen live in the last couple of years .

I haven't been able to find an answer on that either. I got one ticket through the Fanclub but the other tickets I got were through ticketmaster. I already own the album so not too worried about it, but still curious.

From what I understand we should receive an email within 2 weeks to follow directions on how to retrieve your physical or digital copy of the album .You will also have the option of gifting the cd to someone else .

    It's for every ticket purchased

  5. What are your favorite concerts you've ever attended over your lifetime .If I had to name 5 I would say Ozzy /Metallica 86.Metallica at the la forum during black tour .Iron Maiden during somewhere in time tour (first time seeing Maiden )U2 during their most recent tour (first time seeing U2)RHCP at the Hollywood Palladium .Being that this is a Guns N Roses message board all 7 times I've seen Guns have been memorable as well .From seeing them with the Stones and Metallica to the nearly 4 hour show with skid row at the la forum to most recently twice with their semi reunion they all have been special but the first 5 are my favorites

  6. Father time is undefeated. He's in his mid 50's of course he doesn't sound as good as he once did.But to my ears he sounded passable to good at the 2 shows I attended in the last year .It could be worse David Lee Roth and Vince Neil are prime examples .Seen VH and Crue in the last couple years and wish I never did .Im glad I went to see Guns both shows kicked ass

  7. Good show tonight .the boys sounded as good as ever .Short set only 10 songs and only the title track from the new album and sandman from the black album.evrything else was pre black album .They were kind of late to hit the stage and the crowd grew a little restless actually didn't hit stage to closer to 1115 ,announced start time was 10.But once they took the stage they owned it

I agree that they won't tour again, but I don't think they've played their last ever show.

2005 was by and large better than anything in the current reunion era IMO. Setlists were maybe a little better this tour, but the performances were far better in 2005. As far as setlists go though, the Birmingham 2012 shows is, bar none, the best Ozzy-era Sabbath setlist ever played.

I saw the band in 2005, 2014, and 2016. 2005 was the best show, 2014 was the worst, and 2016 was somewhere in the middle.

I've seen them numerous times through the years maybe the night you went they were just off or the show I went for the 13 tour (la sports arena )they were just on point because that show was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.The last tour I like many thought was a bit short of a show .Think they only played 13 songs and barely for an hour and a half but sounded pretty good nonetheless

  9. No and not really that close. They were one of favorite bands in late 80's,early 90's when they actually put out some new music. The last 20 plus years I feel like have been a waste to some extent .More what could've been then what was/is.It was cool to see them live a couple more times recently brought back some good memories and they sounded good and shows were excellent but I don't think I'll go see them again unless they have new material to play.Too many other great bands still putting out new music that I enjoy and that have a much more impressive discography

  10. Kroq almost acoustic Christmas last night.Fun show with lots of good bands .Weezer and Beck were solid as was Green Day which headlined and I was most looking forward to seeing as it has been over a decade since I last seen then .But for me personally the show suprise was Bastille ,fantastic live act

  11. Have been listening to the new album pretty much every day and I think it's a great album.Didn't think they had it in them after their last 3 studio albums but so happy to be wrong. Can't wait to hear some of the new songs live.As a fan of the band for over 30 plus years I had almost given up on any worthwhile full albums ,a song here a song there off their last 3 albums but wow this album rocks from start to finish .Great work boys
