  1. I initially thought trying to do stadiums again in the States was a huge mistake by promoters but the first 3 shows of this leg looked relatively full.Ticketmaster map tells a different story so I was somewhat surprised.Tonight looks like it’ll be the first show of the four so far to be played before a half full crowd though

Anyone thinking about the current Covid climate and how some, if not the rest of this tour might get cancelled?

Jazzfest in NOLA was just cancelled after adding the Rolling Stones to their lineup, and every venue down here requires proof of Vax for entry and a mask even if you're already vaxed up. It would appear we are headed back into it..

Maybe thats why the boys decided to whip out the new track so early in the tour?

Anything’s possible.I for one thought we had turned the corner and the worst was behind us and now it’s looks like that was a bit of premature thinking

Is anyone else finding themselves listening to it over and over again even tho you don't consider it a good song?

Yeah, guilty .Grew on me a hair with headphones on.It’s kind of a straightforward rocker (reminds me a bit of omg). The lyrics are pretty juvenile but guess when a song title is Absurd that is part  of the point

  4. Just did first but of traveling since pandemic started besides a Vegas weekend .Went to Cabo for a week. Was nice to get out but it’s a bit of a hassle to do any kind of traveling outside of the States.Things just aren’t the same nor I suspect they will be for the foreseeable future.I’m not sure that vaccines are the answer to the way out of the pandemic either at this point.I got vaccinated, but those that do not I can understand their hesitation as these shots have now been proven to not stop a vaccinated person from getting nor transmitting of the virus.

I say this with zero sarcasm but I REALLY wanted to be wrong :(

Feel the same way.I held off on getting tickets. After watching videos from other night theirs really zero reason for me to go see them again .Between seeing them 4 times in their heyday and 4 times since 16 the show has gotten shorter ,staler and Axl’s voice sounded shot.He did look better which I’m happy to see.And it is the first show so things most likely will get better hopefully but for their first show in a year and a half it was a complete dud.Bummer but kind of was thinking it would be this way but like you I so wanted to be wrong and for them to come back strong.Couple new songs and maybe 3-4 different songs in the setlist with Axl at least sounding passable to good.

Just listened to the album for the first time, the music is absolutely genius, the vocal melodies are also awesome, but I really can’t stand the singers voice sadly.. apart from that really good album

This.I loved their ep was kind of meh on first full length album love the music on this one but that voice just doesn’t do it for me.

  7. First time seeing Guns n Roses was when they opened for the Stones at Coliseum.Had great floor seats. They played 4 shows I believe.I don’t remember an Axl rant to that affect so pretty sure it wasn’t that particular show. Was more excited to see Guns then the Stones. It’s been forever since that show so really can’t recall specifics other then I had a great time and  both bands put on a good show

  8. I really haven’t given much thought to going to area show.Being that I’ve seen them 4 times in last 5 years and seen them 5 times in their classic era it’s just kind of reached a saturation point for me.I would love to hear some new music of some sorts then maybe I’d go to another show but even then it probably be a maybe.

  9. My girlfriend is a huge fan so I got us tickets to see him this past weekend in Vegas.I knew just about every song he played (my girls always blasting his tunes)while he’s not my usual jam, I must admit I had a great time and dare I say was kind of blown away at what a great performer he is .And the place was absolutely rocking.Any fans on here ?

  10. Got my second dose of covid vaccine on Monday.Bad headache about 24 hours after it followed by fatigue, fever and feeling nauseous.A little over a day after it started side effects completely stopped

  11. After a few months of a listen here or there really got into this album over the last couple of weeks.I think it’s a great effort by the boys.Just a straight ahead typical AC/DC record that kicks ass.Hope were able to see them tour behind it.Why can’t Guns do the same ???Nevermind ....

  12. I know quite a few people who have gotten pretty sick with covid and a few who have died and some who cruise through it .When I received a  letter explaining my eligibility for the  the covid vaccine I went ahead and got the first shot just last Monday.I understand and respect both points of views in terms of getting the shot and not choosing to and it boils down to a personal choice where each individual should  be allowed to make that choice. In my case getting the shot had nothing to do with concerts but more to do with offering myself some protection from severe illness and hopefully as more studies are done with protecting my loved ones (elderly parents and my son who has a rare form of severe epilepsy)from contracting it from me .I understand that science hasn’t proven either way if you can still transit the virus without symptoms after receiving the vaccine. Most transmissions without vaccine in play seem to come from pre symptomatic individuals and not truly asymptotical people

  13. Probably Ozzy’s and Pearl Jam’s new records. Two of my all time favorites so I guess that’s easy I really haven’t discovered anything new so to speak this year.Need to give more listens to the new AC/DC
