  1. At first I hated that a band that was so good live released such an overdubbed and fake "live album" but i've grown to appreciate Axl's vocals as alternative studio takes. I find very interesting & weird that on most overdubbed tracks he could get the middle range rasp vocals easily while on the high notes he switched to falsetto since that's the opposite of what he's been doing live on recent years (he has difficulty doing the mid range rasp and switches to Mickey then, while on high notes he goes for raspy screaming vocals)

BTW, it's Paradise City overdubbed or not? It's the only one i'm not sure.

  2. I find it interesting that is mostly the press and Z-list celebrities on Twitter that are promoting and giving credibility to that doc while most regular people either are against it or just don't care.

It's outrageous that Oprah would give them a platform since Michael gave her a lot of credibility and her biggest ratings in 93, and after he passed she interviewed his family and sons. What a betrayal. I don't believe for a second that she was moved after watching the doc considering she was best buddies with Weinstein and god knows who other sexual predators from Hollywood.

  3. Regardings the Peppers video, yes it's disgusting and thanks God nobody would get away with that nowadays but I don't think it would be fair to attack (or "cancel") them for that since it was like hundreds years ago and they have definitely changed musically and personally. That shit from the video fits perfectly with their 80's image of hyperactive-sex obsessed dumbasses but they have changed and matured a lot since then. You can tell the difference of a song like Party on Your Pussy with one like Snow. I remember in a 2014 Argentina show when at one point Flea told the wild audience to stop touching women inappropriately and keep their hand in their pockets. That's pretty telling.

Personally, I like his post-Thriller works the most but I completely understand that I am in the minority on that. Having said that, I totally agree that Off The Wall is superior to Thriller in just about every way.

I actually prefer his post-Thriller stuff too! My favorite album of his is Dangerous. While his previous albums imo had too many songs about typical pop themes like love and shit and his following albums had too many songs about self-pity or "changing the world" (that doesn't mean I didn't like them, I loved them all) for me Dangerous had the perfect balance of both, his artistic maturity.

  5. This whole situation is fucked up. There was a video of the Bridge School disaster which compilated all the worst moments and it was hilarious, one of my favorite videos ever on the Internet. Whenever I felt down I watched it and always had a good laugh. It's now gone obviously and it's a shame (but kinda understandable in this case lol).

BTW does anyone know which one I was talking about and has it downloaded?

  6. No kiddie porn was found at Neverland, that's bullshit. If that had been the case he would have directly gone to jail since that's a crime in itself.

BTW, Off the Wall is a fucking excellent album, a hundred times more consistent than Thriller. A pop masterpiece.

  7. It makes sense that after losing so many members Angus decided to bring back Brian and Phil to regain credibility instead of going the NUGNR route.

Sad because I loved axl/dc but I'm happy for Brian and after all this is what most ac/dc fans wanted.
